Alan Walker’s PUBG Mobile song “On My Way” was recently released and it doesn’t just mark a milestone in his career but it showcases the opportunities such collaborations provide us all with. Alan already announces that this is just the beginning and that more songs and similar projects are coming along, as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds community keeps growing.
The “Be The One” Mentality
Alan Olav Walker is a DJ from Norway whose undoubtedly most famous single is “Faded”, which reached diamond sales in Germany. His studio debut entitled Different World was released in 2018 and climbed up to #36 on the Top 100 DJ’s of 2018 list by DJ Mag.
Alan grew up as a gamer, according to his own words and welcomed the chance to produce for a video game of such popular caliber.
He also appears and performs in various PUBG public events and through this collaboration with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Alan is communicating with every gamer via “Be The One” mentality. As he explains it, it is the tendency and the mentality of virtually even competitive player to be ‘the one’, the best, and that tendency lies in every gamer’s heart, as he says it. Combined with the opportunity to actually achieve that online video games provide, that message tramples any prejudice, race, nationality, status, or gender difference.

Alan Walker also headlines other festivals around the world and supports such stars as Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Martin Garrix. He is currently on a Different World Tour and his next record is expected to drop in 2019. The “On My Way” song also features Sabrina Carpenter & Farruko, and together with his collaborators, Alan kicked-off the “On MY Way-Challenge” where his fans can get the chance to be included in his video and win other awards.
