Arena Stars: Battle Heroes Review

Arena Stars: Battle Heroes Android, iOS, and PC game recently released by Tiny Titan Studios is marketed as the answer to the modern-day gamer schedule. Particularly, Arena Stars: Battle Heroes game is announced as the combination of several popular genres and as a video game that is aimed at taking away as little of the players’ time as possible with providing optimal fun.

Tiny Titan Studios games include Kung Fu Z, Dash Quest, Tiny Rails and others. All of those have achieved notable success on their respective platforms and app providers, with most gaining high scores. Arena Stars: Battle Heroes was just released, so the review sample is still not representative, but it started out in the high score area as well, above 4 stars on Google Play.

The new 90-second MOBA!

Arena Stars: Battle Heroes video game is said to incorporate the mechanics of a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre with other styles of fighting games, but in truth, it does much more. By taking into consideration every aspect of this new Tiny Titan Studios installment, we find that it has these genres incorporated:

  • MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena)
  • Card battle video game (similar to Hearthstone and Yu-Gi-Oh!)
  • Hero Collector
  • Real-Time Strategy Elements

So, the game offers a quick queue for a short PvP battle that truthfully lasts under two minutes. You are matched with a player of similar ranking, and your heroes clash in a match. Whoever gets three KOs first wins! You spend Mana as the main resource pool to cast your abilities and play the cards you have prepared for the match.

Winning battles awards chests which provide you with all the relevant gameplay items in the game. The chests themselves are improved as you move up the league tiers.

The appearance of the game is pretty decent while the mechanics are where this game’s chips are all bet upon. The pace of it all is quite fast indeed, while the game still manages to provide a strategic aspect to it.

Arena Stars: Battle Heroes lets the player build his team, prepare his cards and abilities, and then have quick fun in a series of short and explosive matches. No waiting and no time wasted is a guarantee. It is available on Google Play, App Store, and Steam.
