Borderlands franchise has enjoyed commercial and critical success so far and its next installation, Borderlands 3 release date is set for this September 13, 2019. Confirmed at PAX East 2019 conference, Gearbox is ready to give us what we waited for the past 7 years since Borderlands 2 in 2012. This open-world FPS franchise is known for its dirty, in-your-face style and a gazillion weapon arsenal, and Borderlands 3 is eagerly awaited.
You do not fix what isn’t broken
Reviewing all of the Borderlands 3 videos, the announcement reveals, and pre-views leads to one conclusion. Almost all of the community agrees unanimously that the game is the spitting image of its previous installation, Borderlands 2, and this is a good thing. This, of course, concerns the overall style of the game and the atmosphere. New content has been developed and it does promise the fans of the game one hell of a time.
Kept as a secret all this time
On the conference earlier this year, Gearbox admitted that Borderlands 3 has been kept a secret for a while now. The fans were reassured that the game’s third installation is taken seriously and the developer knows not to meddle with what is sacred. The previous Borderlands 2 game literally had over seventeen million weapons if you count all the subtle differences.
The story revealed so far only tells us that the game will feature multiple worlds, not just Pandora. It will support co-op play and it will have the new level-sync capability, which scales experience gains for each player regardless of their level.
September 13, 2019
We are promised Borderlands 3 PS4, XBOX ONE, and PC versions so far, with the PC version being the EPIC games store exclusive. It will also come on Steam and other online stores. The game promises cool characters, new content, and the same old shooting extravaganza. After all, you do not fix what isn’t broken.
