BTS World game has taken the world by storm just a few weeks after its release on June 30, 2019. The game already scored some majorly positive reviews and scores on all online stores, including Google Play where it currently has 4.8 stars from almost 400 thousand votes, and iTunes App Store where it currently has 4.9 stars from around 110 thousand votes. It enjoys high critical acclaim, while the game itself is beautifully designed. However, we are not here to talk about the concept and its success, but to help you on your first steps, so here are some tips for beginners!
BTS World Tips, Tricks, Guides, and Help for Beginners
BTS World video game features all 7 members from the real life boy band, including RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook. These characters are incorporated into the game and are all relevant to the gameplay. In fact, they are featured as cards, which you collect as you progress through the Story Mode.
In this game, cards are awarded from three types of draws, ordinary Draw, Gold Draw, and Gems Draw. Plain Draws are naturally awarded slowly and for reaching certain points of the game, while the other two types are bought for their respective currencies. The cards also have tiers and it is imperative for the player to upgrade their cards in order to progress through the game. There are five tiers, 1-star, 2-star, 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star. The first and most important tip is to save your gems for upgrading high-tier cards, instead of spending them on purchasing cards or other stuff like energy.
Upgrading and leveling the cards is key to progress in BTS World mobile game. The cards need to be upgraded to increase their stats, in order to meet the ever-growing requirements of the missions. However, leveling cards to a new tier increases the cap, so both things are equally important, each at its own stage of the game.
There are certain cards in the game which DNA can be used for purposes better than the card can achieve. This is usually the purpose of all your duplicates. Like disenchanting them into dust in Heartstone, here you can go to the exchange tab, and get upgrade stones, DNA, and other stuff for your duplicates. DNA can be used to purchase other important and rare resources.
Member cards can be crafted by collecting the pieces i.e. fragments while advancing through the story mode. You will find the story mode stages navigation by clicking the floating icon on the left side of the screen in the main menu. Some cards cannot be crafted and instead, you can create a new version of it. For example, you cannot craft the Red Carpet RM Card, but you can craft an AM Professional card with a unique stat set.
Gold is the main and most common resource in BTS World game. It is not premium, like the gems, but it is still not abundant enough so that you can spend it with no plan what so ever. Obtaining gold is best done by doing the following things in-game, in descending order by highest priority:
- Completing quests
- Daily Sign-Ins (every 14th awards 100 gems)
- Daily Missions
- Training Missions
- Finishing all the 3-star chapters in Story Mode
How best to balance playtime and progress?
The goal is to log in every day, if you are able, and complete your given set of quests and daily missions. However, if you have more time for playing BTS World, you should farm training missions. Also, this game is designed as linear progress through its stages, and the story and your main mission are known from the start. However, smooth pathway towards the end game is not available and if you get stuck with a certain mission, you will need to replay the previous ones in order to farm resources and upgrade cards. Also, you must always carefully consider the required stats of a certain quest or mission. High-tier cards are to be drawn and you should always strive to save gems and gold. Adding friends and staying social can also help in this regard.
