Crush the Castle: Siege Master review

Crush the Castle: Siege Master review

There’s probably no need to explain what the game called Crush the Castle is about. The interesting thing is that the franchise is almost 10 years old, with the first game arriving in 2009. Those were the times when even Angry Birds were relevant, and Crush the Castle games relied heavily on the idea of demolishing things buy launching other things at them. Without any deeper objectives, our goal was to demolish the Medieval buildings by hurling rocks at them with really, really big trebuchet.

This time, almost 10 years after the first game, we get the chance to let the boulders hit the walls, in a new 3D reimagining of the series. The original game has been played over 26 million times just on the Armor Games site alone, and it has got a number of successful spin-offs. We guess once you try a trebuchet you don’t go back. Armor Games Studios is both a publisher of unique and creative indie games from all over the world and one of the internet’s longest running curated free Flash gaming portals. This time they remade their successful idea into the full-fledged mobile app for iPhones and Android.

Crush the Castle Crush Them All

Crush the Castle: Siege Master office 100 levels full of painstakingly carefully handcrafted castles, towers, and all kind of bizarre buildings for you to crush it to the dust with various projectiles, including boulders, fireballs, airplane bombs, and many others.

Each stage in this game might have a different goal, but the core objective is always the same: Smash the structure to the pieces and take out anyone hiding inside. If you ever played the game of this type, and you probably were, there is no need to explain the game mechanics in details. The first tap will get the trebuchet swinging and the second will hurl your chosen projectile toward the structure you want to destroy. Aim carefully, though, since you have a limited number of tries for each stage, and achieving a 3-star rating will be even harder.
