Times they are a-changin’. Once upon a time princesses sat in their boudoirs, learning embroidery, knitting, and other refined feminine crafts, dreaming all the while of the time when some prince charming will come on the white horse and ask their hands in marriage. This particular princess, a heroine of Dragon Hills, had stood on a top of her tower, waiting forever for some dashing bachelor to save her from her miserable existence. However, when some hunky prince finally came, it turned out that he was more interested in a casket of gold than in the poor lonely princess. Big mistake. You know how the saying goes: hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Well, our heroine quickly decided to take matters in her hands – she grabbed her trusty dragon (!) and swooped down into the valley to spread destruction and mayhem over the unfortunate inhabitants of this little kingdom.
The gameplay is extremely simple – and almost equally addictive. Your dragon will gracefully glide atop of the idyllic snowy landscape, collecting valuable gold coins and destroying just about anything that finds itself on its path. When you wish to do something even more spectacular, you can tap and hold, and then your draconian mount will burrow deep into the soil. When you release the pressure, the dragon will again rise to the surface. Besides great fun, this method has two purposes. By burrowing underground you’ll be able to avoid shields, spears and other boobytraps, but you’ll also gain the additional momentum. The more you hold and spend the time underground, the greater force you’ll have to make that striking leap of demolition. As if the dragon itself wasn’t enough, the angry princess will deal the additional damage with her sword.
Despite her emancipating feminist crusade, our fair princess loves shopping just as any regular girl. After each level, you’ll have the opportunity to spend some of the gold coins you’ve collected along the way. You can buy different power-ups (such as freeze rays or comet showers) that will make you even more lethal in combat, as well as upgrades for your sword. You’ll also be able to acquire the upgrades for your dragon, which is more than advisable, since, despite his imposing appearance, in the beginning, his health will be pretty low. With the sufficient amount of gold, you’ll even get to purchase better and stronger dragons.
This charming little game by Cezary Rajkowski will not only enable you to destroy things in style, from the back of a mighty dragon, but you’ll also enjoy in cute visuals with dynamic changes between day and night. What’s even better, it’s available both for iOS and Android devices.
