Era of Legends mobile game is an MMORPG experience that has gathered a significant number of dedicated players in the past two months. The game showed high hopes quickly as Era of Legends release date for mobile devices was in March 2019. Now, an extensive content of various guides and instructional material can be found online and we have tried to put the best ones together for beginners and advanced players.
Era of Legends beginner’s guide
New players that have experienced MMORPGs before shall grow quickly accustomed to the Era of Legends atmosphere. You hang out in a sanctuary where you see other players on your server as you look for comrades to queue up for some boss fights. Quite simple and easy, really. The game does offer an in-game microtransaction system to enable players to advance quickly if they are willing to invest some real money, but if you are looking to play free of all expenses, there are several useful tips.
Tips for Playing with no in-game purchases
- Hang on to your Enchantment mats
This especially goes for mats required for Enchantment, like the Flame Spessarite, Dragoneye, Lanling Stones, and others. They are not worth much to sell to a vendor anyway, but you may feel the need to spend them early on to enhance your items. Don’t! Save everything up for the mid-game or the late game, because you will grow out of the enchanted gear so quickly it will be a waste.
- Expand your bag and bank
When you begin playing Era of Legends mobile game, you will advance pretty quickly without any paid boost. Again, many precious items and resources are awarded from quests since the beginning and you may again feel the need to spend some to improve your stats, gear, and other. Do not do this and instead expand your bag space and your bank space, and store everything useful that is used for something else there, like gems. Save all of your gems!
- Do not try and compete with people who pay real money in Era of Legends
If you get hooked on the game and start enjoying it, you may feel the urge to pay real money in order to compete with some high-tier players you may or may not encounter. You should remember that there are some very rich people paying large amounts of cash on games out there and you cannot and should not compete with them. Instead, do your own thing and if you want to spend some on the game, do it on your own accord.
- Do not do impulse shopping
As mentioned, from the very beginning of the game you will get various rewards in the form of mats, items, and other curiosities. Do not trade with stuff you don’t know what is for. Again, save everything. You never know when something may grow in demand and besides, you are much better off investing all your components and mats in the late-game stage when you can use it to the fullest.
Era of Legends – Rising Combat Power tips
The tier system doesn’t really function with Era of Legends gear as it does in other MMORPGs. Sure, there is the rating system, with green, blue, and purple items, with purple being the best quality presumably. At least, that’s how it is in most other games. However, in Era of Legends mobile, as you level up you can sometimes have a blue item that is higher level and on par with the purple one, or even stronger. You can keep it and actually transfer stats from the purple one to the blue one, which is another cool feature in this game.
- Badge, Cape, and Tabard
These three items are placed at the bottom of your character overview screen and they are often overlooked by many players. They are not easily found, that’s for sure and players often leave these slots filled with any item quality they can find. These three are perhaps awarded from some dungeons and quests, but the best quality for these items is found in the Guild Workshop. Just click “guild”, then “guild made”, and you will see what you can make and how much it costs. The items you craft here have a high chance of being blue and a small chance of even being purple quality.
Gems are naturally very important and you should figure out which ones you want to focus on for your class. As mentioned early on, do not spend these trying to increase your power level if you are still in early or mid-game. Only spend these when you feel like you’ve hit a wall with your current gear and power level, and you need to become stronger in order to overcome the plateau.
Again, after you’ve reached late or end-game as it is called and you’ve hit a plateau, this is the time to enchant. But, you should again practice caution and spend consciously. The most value you will get out of enchantments is probably with your weapon enchantment. So, you should focus on getting a good weapon as a priority and then enchanting it, and the rest of the gear will follow on its own.
- Feed your Familiars
Familiars are one of the top factors to powering up your character. They award an incredible amount of stats, so try and dedicate time to cultivate the ones you think are best suited for your class and role. Always feed them and power them up. Here, you should not concern yourself with saving materials for if you level up a familiar and you decide you want to use some other, you can do a revive. After reviving, all your spent resources (Upgrade Food and Star-Up Starlight) will be refunded and you can start over with another one.
