Everything we know about Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order release date is set for 15th November 2019. The fans who eagerly await the next Star Wars Game are knocking on all doors trying to find out more but very little is being let out by the EA.

Not an Open World Game!

This game has been in development for the last five years. It will be firmly set in the action-adventure genre and single player. Its publisher will be Electronic Arts while the development will be signed by Respawn Entertainment with Stig Asmussen at the helm. He is the guy known for God of War.

The story, characters, the time period, villains

The Jedi have fallen. This game is set right after the end of Episode 3, which brings about many questions, like will we see Lord Vader and the Emperor? Also, it sets up the game’s atmosphere as in a spy sci-fi novel where the main protagonist is apparently force sensitive and has received Obi One’s message about the developments at the temple. Obi One and Yoda have told everyone to disperse and hide, so our guy is doing just that.

Whatever you do, don’t reach within…

As we all know, this is how the Jedi uses his powers and channels the force. So, the setting for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order seems to be in a low-force using world where you are undoubtedly avoiding reaching for it. On the other hand, the developers have teased some extensive, never before seen interaction with your lightsaber, so our protagonist may really rely solely on it.

The villain seen in the trailer, besides the hologram of Emperor Palpatine i.e. Darth Sidious, is a Sith Inquisitor which is apparently in pursuit of our young Jedi protagonist. So, the “Fallen Order” relates to the fallen Jedi Order and rise of the Empire controlled by the Sith.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay is expected to be close to the recently out Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, a game that is already reaping critical and commercial acclaim. People are very excited to see a Star Wars game take the path of this combat-oriented mechanic with complex movements that involve player response time as a critical factor. The game itself is probably going to be a single player story driven experience, but the multiplayer is a ‘maybe’. Its gameplay is said to resemble God of War and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

So, what are we in for?

We are expecting a game similar to Mass Effect, where you will use your ship to traverse space and embark on missions. As you grow in force, the platforming mechanics will grow, but the game will also include puzzles and other genres. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will bring the fans to both familiar and new locations, with boss battles and cinematic combat.
