Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 is finally open and the dreaded black hole is gone! The huge weight has been lifted off of our hearts as the game is back with more content than ever and with a new island, among other things! This chapter is actually a nice continuation of what transpired at the end of chapter 1 and The End Event. After the black hole swallowed everything, everyone was only able to see a black hole when they logged in and we were wondering what it all means, but we got a leaked trailer some two days ago, and now chapter 2 is live!
Fortnite version 11.0 i.e. Chapter 2, Season 1, is now live on all platforms and it rolls out big changes. Mainly the new island with 13 new locations is now open, while this major patch brings new gameplay mechanics, a new Battle Pass, and players will now be able to earn V-bucks for the Battle Pass in-game. Also, leveling up is also much wider now, as everything you do will yield experience, even fishing, and there are also other water-related gameplay features available, to say the least.
In short, this new season brings swimming, motorboats, fishing, and all sorts of water-based stunts in gameplay. It also enhances the combat with upgraded weapons and innovations. If you get the Battle Pass, you will be able to earn XP with new medals awarded from all sorts of in-game activities and, as mentioned, this time purchase it solely with V-Bucks. Also, leveling beyond 100 is allowed, and there is no real limit set as far as we know.
All in all, it will be a crazy ruckus now that Fortnite is back, and the song featured in the launch trailer says just that. If you took a breather during the black hole, it’s time to get back in the game and see where the world is now. It is a whole new area, with new locations, hideouts, and more. Also, some Android devices can also run Fortnite at 60fps, like the Galaxy Note 9, Huawei Mate 20 X, Huawei Honor View 20, and several others.
