Full Metal Monsters Review

Full Metal Monsters is an action game featuring armored dinosaurs and 5v5 PvP matches. It also has elements of hero collector, or dino collector for that matter, as players will collect, level up, arm up, and ride their dinosaurs into battle.

Published by AI Games FZ, Full Metal Monsters was released for Android in Spring 2019 and the game scored 4.5 stars from over twenty-five thousand votes. According to the web, this is partly because the developers are constantly improving and following up on player feedback. Naturally, it is also because people generally like playing it. Full Metal Monsters iTunes App Store is still only available for pre-order and is expected to drop on Jun 3, 2019.

Full Metal Monsters Gameplay

Commanding and controlling your character is intuitive in Full Metal Monsters. You swipe the screen with your thumbs to go or aim where you want to, with auto-fire option integrated. However, there is also always a fire button for manual fire. Also, once you target someone, you can press the Lock On button, so that your corsairs will stay stick to them.

All this is pretty standard, but were Full Metal Monsters really showed a flair for the innovative is in the extended controlling of a particular dinosaur. Namely, each dinosaur has its own unique ability. Some can jump high, others can fly. The problem of controlling so much different movement options was solved by adding separate buttons above the fire button, to control the dinosaur’s special ability.

Besides the cool dinosaur action, Full Metal Monsters is a classic PvP shooter. You will also equip your dinosaur with various types of advanced tech weaponry, like rockets and plasma lasers, and blast each other out. However, if you get close enough, your dinosaur can aid you in battle by biting the opponent.

Outside of combat, players will collect, upgrade, and arm their dinosaur collection. You have different types of dinosaurs in different areas. Once you find a match, you can choose the dinosaur best suited to you on a certain map before you spawn.

You can improve your dinosaur’s health pool, speed, damage, and range.

Some of the dinosaur types featured in the game are:

  • Velociraptor
  • Tyrannosaurus
  • Utahraptor
  • Quetzalcoatlus
  • Pachycephalosaurus
  • Others

You also collect riders and the number of raiders available is the number of re-spawns you have in each match. Additionally, the different types of weapons featured range from rocket launchers, mini-guns, revolver guns, rotary guns, tesla gun, and others. Each weapon has its own range, reload speed, and damage output.

Full Metal Monsters features in-game resources and currency, which means microtransactions are included, but this game is heavily dependant on the skill of the player and it is pretty fun to grind through it. All in all, it is a pretty fun PvP action for killing time and rising adrenaline levels.
