Get more familiar with our top picks of champions…
The World category measures the character’s ability to participate in Adventure and Labyrinth. Adventure is the main campaign in the game where you will fight monsters in 16 different regions. Labyrinths are huge maps that need to be cleared in several attempts while trying to explore as much as you can in a search of the portal which will lead to the next zone.
Our top picks for this segment of the game are:
Abyss category measures the character’s ability to help the player to progress through Abyss faster. Every day, 3 attempts are given for clearing floors of the Abyss. As you descend into the Abyss enemies are tougher and rewards are better. Abyss has 90 levels with unique rewards at each level. Every level is guarded by 1 group of enemies and the Boss.
Our top picks for this segment of the game are:
Boss Hunt category measures the character’s ability to participate in Hunt Dungeons. In Hunt Dungeons you can farm ingredients for making equipment in the Steel Workshop. There are four different Hunt Dungeons – Wyvern Hunt, Golem Hunt, Banshee Hunt, and Azimanak Hunt. Every dungeon has 11 stages which difficulty gradually increases providing better rewards. Higher stages provide you not only with ingredients but with epic equipment as well.
Raid category measures the character’s ability to participate in Azmakalis Raid. Azmakalis Raid becomes available after clearing the 5-9 mission in Adventure on World difficulty. It is similar to Labyrinth but it is much harder. Raid resets on a weekly bases and your progress will be saved each day. Every mob, mini-boss or raid boss you have killed will remain dead on subsequent entries until reset. For reaching the last Boss in Raid, Queen Azumashik, at least 2 Raid Bosses needs to be eliminated in the ongoing week.
Our top picks for this segment of the game are:
Arena Category measures the character’s ability to participate in the Arena. The Arena is a place where players compete with one another for honor and glory. The player needs to defeat opposing Defense Teams to earn points, climb the league ladder and earn bigger and bigger rewards. At the start, you are placed in the worst Division – Bronze 5 but with a win, you will earn Arena points and ascend the ladder. Better divisions grant better rewards. Assembling the Defense team is important because the Defense team will protect your current rank against other players.
Our top picks for this segment of the game are:
Guild Wars category measures the character’s ability to help the player to prevail in Guild Wars. Guild Wars is a team battle category that matches your guild against another guild that applied for Guild War on the same day. The guild with more Havoc at the end of the day will win the war. Each member of the guild must put a defense team in the Stronghold and can have attacking teams made of characters that are not used in the Defense. Unlike the Arena, in Guild Wars, the defensive or attacking team can have only 3 members. When the member of the attacking team dies in combat it can no longer be used in the outgoing Guild War.
Our top picks for this segment of the game are:
The Overall category measures the character’s ability to participate in all segments of Epic Seven. Some characters are good for PvE, some characters are good for PvP but the Overall category measures their value for all segments together. This category should help you to understand which characters should be acquired first and in what characters you should invest when you have a dilemma.
Our top picks for this segment of the game are:
Tamarinne is a Fire-based 5 Stars Soulweaver. She is gained through Covenant Summon.
Her first skill is called “Serene Tune”. It causes medium damage against a single target, heals an ally with the lowest Health and decreases the cooldown of Shining Star ability by 1 turn. If this ability is used while Tamarinne is an Idol it attacks all enemies instead, removes all debuffs from the entire team and triggers Dual Attack from the ally with the highest Attack. Serene Tune can be soul burned allowing Temerinne to heal all allies after attacking.
“Song of the Forest” is Temerinne’s second skill. This ability has a 2 turn cooldown. Song of Forest heals all allies with a peaceful melody proportional to the caster’s Max Health and decreases the cooldown of Shining Star by 1 turn. If Song of the Forest is executed while Tamarinne is an Idol, it increases the Attack of all allies for 2 turns and their Combat Readiness by 30% healing the entire team in the process.
Tamrinne’s most powerful skill is called “Shining Star”. The cooldown of Shining Star is 9 turns but it can be reduced whenever she uses the other 2 abilities. When Shining Star is used it will transform Tamerinne into an Idol and she will begin her concert (the other two skills can be used with enhanced effects) that will last 3 turns. Before performing, Shining Star dispels all debuffs on the entire team, recovers Temrinne’s Health to maximum and grants an extra turn.
Tamerinne is a versatile healer whose presence will entirely change your PvE experience. She is very fast for a Soulweaver but she is kinda squishy. Her main weakness is that her ultimate has a 9 turn cooldown at the start of combat but if Iseria is in the same team it can be used immediately making Tamerinne the best Soulweaver in the game.
Suggested artifacts for Tamerinne are Prophetic Candlestick and Rod of Amaryllis.
Suggested Sets for Tamerinne are Speed Set and HP Set.
Arbiter Vildred is a Dark based 5 Stars Thief. He can be obtained through Moonlight Summon.
His first skill is called “Sweep”. It rapidly attacks two enemies with a Swordstorm causing massive damage and decreasing their Combat Readiness by 10%.
The second ability is a passive called “Dark Contract”. It allows Arbiter Vildred to be revived with 70% health after receiving a fatal blow. Also, after reviving Vildred’s Focus and Combat Readiness are both on 100% and he becomes ready to execute his ultimate which cooldown is reset. This can occur once every 5 turns.
Arbiter Vildred’s ultimate is “Dark Blade”. It has 5 turns cooldown and can be soul burned. Dark Blade attacks all enemies causing devastating damage and decreasing their Hit Chance for 2 turns. When Vildred’s focus is full, Dark Blade consumes it all and automatically executes causing even greater damage. If any enemy is killed by this ability its cooldown is reset making it possible to use Dark Blade again. The damage of Dark Blade can be even more increased if the ability is soul burned for the price of 10 souls.
Arbiter Vildred is a Top Tier Hero who can be used with success in every segment of the game. His main strength is his passive revive and ability to spam powerful AoE almost always. His main weaknesses are his low base Defense which makes him very squishy and his vulnerability to all Heroes who have extinction (can’t revive) ability. Arbiter Vildred is probably the most useful Hero in Epic Seven when we consider all game-segments.
Suggested artifacts for Arbiter Vildred are Alexa’s Basket and Moonlight Dreamblade.
Suggested Sets for Arbiter Vildred are Destruction and Crit Rate.
Dizzy is an Ice based 5 Stars Mage. She can be obtained through Limited Summon.
“I Used This to catch Fish” is her first skill. It attacks all enemies causing medium damage with a 25% chance to Stun each target for 1 turn. The damage of the first skill is increased depending on the number of debuffs target has.
“Gamma Ray” is Dizzy’s second ability. It has a 4 turn cooldown. “Gamma Ray” also attacks all enemies causing massive damage and extends the duration of all debuffs (except movement impairing) by 1 turn. After that, it decreases the Combat Readiness of each target by 50%.
Dizzy’s ultimate is “Emotional Gamma Ray”. This ability has a 5 turn cooldown and it can be soul burned. Upon executing ultimate, Dizzy unleashes an overwhelming explosion that causes devastating damage against all enemies and applies Decrease Speed, Decrease Attack and Decrease hit Chance for 2 turns. If this ability misses the target all debuffs are applied nevertheless. When the soul burned, Dizzy will get an extra turn.
Dizzy’s main strength is also her greatest weakness. The ability to attack all enemies with all skills is very helpful but it can be bad in situations when you want to avoid hitting someone. Her base stats are great and her basic skill has an opportunity to stun which is ideal for PvP. She is also very powerful when combined with other debuffers like ML Aramintha, ML Tenebria, Baal&Sezan, etc… However, if she is against enemies who can auto-cleanse like Queen Azumashik and Azimanak, or if she against Heroes who are equipped with immunity sets or blessed with anti-debuff buff in PvP, she is almost useless. All in all, Dizzy can shine in many things but she is definitely best for Abyss.
Suggested artifacts for Dizzy are Abyssal Crown, Iela Violin and Tagehel’s Ancient Book.
Suggested Sets for
Dizzy Speed Set and Hit Rate Set or full DPS with Attack Set and Crit Rate Set.
Bellona is an Earth-based 5 Stars Ranger. She can be obtained through Covenant Summon.
Her first skill is “Windbreak Fan”. It attacks all enemies causing moderate damage which is proportional to the enemy’s Max Health (can be devastating against Bosses with enormous Health Pool). If her Focus is 5 or higher, upon using a first skill she will use all focus and activate her ultimate “Razorwind Fan”.
“Butterfly Fan” is her second skill. It has a 3 turn cooldown. “Butterfly Fan” attacks all enemies causing heavy damage. The damage amount is increased by the number of enemies. After executing the second skill Bellona is granted Immunity for 1 turn.
Bellona’s ultimate is “Razorwind Fan”. It has a 6 turns cooldown and can be soul burned. With “Razorwind Fan” Bellona summon a gust of wind that harms all enemies causing massive damage with a 65% chance to decrease Defense on each target. Chance of applying Decrease Defense increases by 20% if “Razorwind Fan” is triggered by “Windbreak Fan”. If soul burned, this ability’s damage output is even more increased.
Bellona is a very useful Hero who can be used in both PvP and PvE. Her base stats are indeed little lower compared to other 5 Stars heroes but the synergy between her skills makes her a real powerhouse (if you use ultimate, then second skill and then the first skill you will be able to freely use the ultimate again with increased potential). Her first skill is especially useful against Bosses with a large amount of Health which is the reason we picked her as one of the best Heroes for Abyss. Her main weaknesses are that she can be countered with immunity sets in PvP and that she is very squishy if she is equipped with only DPS gear.
Suggested artifacts for Bellona are Rosa Hargana and Bloodstone.
Suggested Sets for Bellona are Speed Set and Hit Rate Set.
Sol Badguy is a Fire-based 5 Stars Warrior. He is excluded from summons and can be obtained through the game (Sol Story, Dizzy Story, Tournament Easy. Tournament Hard, Completing all 32 quests and Reputation).
The first skill is called “Gunflame” It attacks a single target causing heavy damage which can be increased if the target is not under the effect of any buff. Whenever a critical hit is made with this ability, SolBadguy receives a Fighting Spirit.
His second ability is “Volcanic Viper”. This skill is passive but it has 2 turns cooldown. It is activated when an enemy uses a non-attacking ability or when Sol is attacked by an Elite Monster or Boss. Basically, when that happens Sol counters causing massive damage which is proportional to the target’s Maximum Health and silences the target. This can occur only once in 2 turns. When Fighting Spirit is at 100 at the end of ally’s turn, Sol consumes all Fighting Spirit, extending the duration of the buff and being granted an extra turn.
Sol’s ultimate is called “Tyrant Rave ver. Beta”. This ability has a 5 turns cooldown and can be soul burned. It attacks a single target causing overwhelming damage, dispels all debuffs and applies Unable to be Buffed for 2 turns. The damage of this ability is proportional to the Maximum Health of the target. If soulburned it ignores the effect resistance of the target.
Sol is a mighty single-target damage dealer who is good against any enemy with high HP. This means that he is particularly good at Raid, Abyss and Boss Hunt. He has a very high base speed and gets an extra turn when his Fighting Spirit reaches 100. His weaknesses are that he has no AoE attacks at all and that he can activate his passive ability only once in 2 turns. Also, when he silences a water base unit that could backfire at him because sometimes its better to let enemies buff themselves instead of attacking you.
Suggested artifacts for Sol Badguy are Uberius’s Tooth and Daydream Joker.
Suggested Sets for Sol Badguy are Speed Set and Hit Rate Set or Counter Set and Crit Rate Set.
Seaside Bellona is an Ice based 5 Stars Ranger. She can be obtained through Limited Summon.
Her first skill is “Watch Out”. It causes moderate damage against the single target with a 60% chance to place Target debuff for 2 turns.
The second skill is passive and it is called “I’m with My Friends”.
This ability shares 30% of the damage with the foremost ally. When more than one damage sharing effect is granted, only the strongest effect is applied. Seaside Bellona gains 1 Focus whenever an ally is attacked. When an ally is attacked and Seaside Bellona has stacked 5 Focus she will lose all focus and execute “ You are not cute” ability that attacks all enemies causing heavy damage with a 50% chance to place Decrease Defense for 2 turns.
Seaside Bellona’s ultimate is “Haven’t I Warned You”. It has a 5 turns cooldown and it can be soulburned. “Haven’t I Warned You” utilizes water elements to create a spray of water that will cause devastating damage against all enemies with an 85% chance to apply Unable to Buff and Unhealable debuff for 2 turns on each target. The damage of the critical strike is increased furthermore. If this skill is soulburned it will ignore effect resistances of the target.
Seaside Belladona is a very powerful Ranger who has increased Focus gain and decreased Damage received because of her passive skill. She is ideal for Wyvern or Azimanak since she has useful debuffs and strong AoE attacks. She is also very good for Labyrinth because she provides a large number of Moral points in chats. However, whoever guards her will receive much more damage and will die more easily and that is one of her weaknesses. The other weakness is the fact that her Defense Down debuff is conditional. She has a great synergy with Charles who can counter whenever she is under attack.
Suggested artifacts for Seaside Bellona are Portrait of the Saviors and Rosa Hargana.
Suggested Sets for Seaside Bellona are Attack Set and Crit Set or if you want to build her more tanky Speed Set and Immunity Set.
Cermia is a Fire-based 5 Stars Warrior. She can be obtained via Covenant Summon.
Her first skill is called “Playing with the Fire”. It causes high damage against the single target with a 55% chance to place Unhealable debuff on that target.
The second ability is “Hot Streak”. This skill has a 5 turns cooldown. Upon using “Hot Streak”, Cermia shoots fire which grants her 75% increased Attack, an extra turn and it reset the cooldown of her ultimate.
Cermia’s ultimate is “All-In!”. This ability has a 5 turn cooldown and can be soulburned. It summons a blazing inferno that brings destruction against the single target penetrating its Defense by 50%. If soulburned “All-In!” causes even greater destruction.
Cermia does not have any useful utility at all but she can one-shot her opponents in PvP and she undoubtedly delivers the most damage in the game against Bosses like Golem, etc… If she uses her ultimate than her second skill and then ultimate again with increased attack she is able to utterly destroy anyone on the opposite side. Since she is a Fire-based Hero she could have problems against Ice based Tanks because of miss chance. Also, lack of any utility or AoE attack makes her less desirable than some other Heroes in other game segments besides PvP and Boss Hunt. All in all, Cermia is a Hero who has probably the greatest base attack and since she is able to deliver such a burst of damage that can be compared by any other in the game, you will love her at a first sight.
Suggested artifacts for Cermia are Border Coin and Exorcist’s Tonfa.
Suggested Sets for Cermia are Attack Set and Crit Set. You can also go after a full Crit by combining 3 Crit Sets.
Challenger Dominiel is a Dark based 4 Stars Mage. She can be obtained through Moonlight Summon.
Her first skill is called “Electrocute”. This skill can be soulburned. It attacks a single target causing massive damage which can be further increased with a critical strike. If soulburned, the damage dealt is even more increased.
Her second skill is passive and it is called “Electric Charge”. It grants a stack of additional damage for Challenger Dominiel whenever an ally makes a critical hit and it increases her Combat Readiness by 10% per each critical hit. The number of stacks is not limited meaning that Challenger Dominiel’s damage output can reach unprecedented proportions.
Challenger Dominiel’s ultimate is “Supercharge”. It has a 5 turns cooldown. By releasing powerful electricity, she increases the Critical Hit Rate of all allies by 3 turns and their Combat Readiness by 10%. It also grants her an extra turn.
Because of her skill mechanics, Challenger Dominiel is probably the best single-target damage dealer. When she collects enough Critical Hit stacks she can even one-shot Bosses. She may be squishy and slow but after enough critical hits made by her team, her base attacks become devastating. When we know that she is able to increase the Critical Hit rate of all allies by 50%, we realize that she is simply amazing. However, she can be countered in PvP by anti-buff Heroes such as Basar or Roman. Challenger Dominiel is quite a usable support attacker and her usefulness definitely exceeds the number of stars she has at the start.
Suggested artifacts for Challenger Dominiel are Kal’adra and Tagehel’s Ancient Book.
Suggested Sets for Challenger Dominiel are Destruction Set and Crit Rate Set.
Chloe is an Ice based 5 Stars Warrior. She can be obtained via Covenant Summon.
Her first skill is called “Heavy Strike”. It hammers the enemy causing heavy damage which can be increased if the target is under the effect of Magic Nail.
The second skill is “Magic Bolt”. This skill has a 3 turn cooldown. It applies Magic Nail debuff on the single target for 3 turns. This debuff cannot be resisted and it deals percentage damage of the enemies Maximum Health.
Chloe’s ultimate is “Hyper Strike”. “Hyper Strike” has a 5 turn cooldown and it can be soulburned. Upon executing ultimate Chloe soars into the air and charges towards the target causing overwhelming damage against the single target stunning it for 1 turn. If the target is under the effect of Magic Nail, the damage is significantly increased. If soulburned, the ultimate causes even more damage.
In combination with Magic Nail debuff, Chloe can cause unbelievable damage. If the target has Defense Down debuff and Chole is buffed with Attack and Critical Damage you will see some incredible numbers. At the top of that, her ultimate can stun. Her allies also benefit from Magic Nail because it is counted for allies DPS as well. On the other hand, Chloe is useless if Magic Nail is not applied and she can be countered by anty-debuffers which is especially bad in the Arena and Challenger. Chloe is a Top Tier Boss Killer who can be used with great success in Wyvern and Banshee hunts, Raid Bosses and some Abyss Floors.
Suggested artifacts for Chloe are Uberius’s Tooth and Hell Cutter.
Suggested Sets for Chloe are Destruction Set and Crit Rate Set.
Ruele of Light is a Light-based 5 Stars Soul Weaver. She can be obtained through Moonlight Summon.
Her first skill is called “Key to an Oath”. This skill can be soulburned. It attacks a single target causing moderate damage and at the same time heals an ally with the lowest Health. Damage is increased proportional to Ruele’s Maximum Health and the healing is increased proportionally to the ally’s maximum Health. If soulburned this skill heals allies instead, costing 20 souls.
The second ability is called “Light Pillar”. It has a 3 turn cooldown. After summoning “Light Pillar” dispels all debuffs on the allied target, restores Health and grants Barrier for 2 turns. The strength of the Barrier and the amount of restored Health is proportional to Ruele’s Maximum Health.
Ruele’s ultimate is “Light Ascending”. This ability has a 5 turns cooldown. It revives one dead ally with full Health and grants Invincibility for 1 turn. Also, all debuffs on living allies are removed and they are granted Invincibility for 1 turn as well.
The ability to revive a fallen ally with full Health is useful in both PvP and PvE. Ruele’s healing is also very powerful especially because basic skill when sulburned can heal all allies. At the top of that Ruele of Light is very tanky for a Soul Weaver because of her incredible base Defense and high Health Pool. Her main weaknesses are slow base Speed and almost idiotic AI script. Ruele of Light can be great for Raids, PvP and Guild Wars and she is definitely one of the most useful Soul Weavers overall.
Suggested artifacts for Ruele of Light are Idol’s Cheer and Water’s Origin.
Suggested Sets for Ruele of Light are Speed Set and HP Set for PvE or 2 Resist Sets and 1 Immunity Set for PvP.
Judge Kiss is a Light-based 5 Stars Warrior. She can be obtained via Moonlight Summon.
Her first skill is called “Sever”. Judge Kiss attacks with a scythe causing massive damage against the primary target with a 35% chance to place Decrease Defense for 2 turns.
The second skill is “End of Evil”. It has a 3 turn cooldown and can be soulburned. “End of Evil” attacks all enemies causing heavy damage and it has a 75% chance to dispel a buff from each enemy. The damage of the skill is increased depending on the number of enemies – more enemies-more damage. If soulburned this skill grants an extra turn.
Judge Kiss’ ultimate is “Wave of Light”. This ability has a 6 turn cooldown. Upon using “Wave of Light”, Judge Kiss attacks all enemies by distorting space and time causing destruction with a 75% chance to increase skill cooldown of each enemy three times by 1 turn.
Judge Kiss has very powerful AoE attacks which can be crucial in PvP if combined with her ability to prevent enemies of using skills. She can perform an amazing combo if she soulburns second skill and then uses ultimate, so it is important to combine her with a Mage with Tagahel’s Ancient Book. Her basic stats are very good making her ideal for various item builds. Her main weaknesses are long cooldown of the ultimate and the fact that her skill-set can be countered with Immunity Sets. Judge Kiss is an ideal Arena Hero but her usefulness is questionable in PvE. The fact that she must soulburn second skill for reaching her full potential makes her less desirable than she should be otherwise.
Suggested artifacts for Judge Kiss are Hell Cutter and Cursed Compass.
Suggested Sets for Judge Kiss are Attack Set and Crit Rate Set for maximum damage or Speed Set and Hit Rate Set for the hybrid build.
Martial Artist Ken is a Dark based 5 Stars Warrior. He can be obtained through Moonlight Summon.
His first skill is called “Knockout”. It attacks a single target causing serious damage and has a 50% chance to place Decrease Attack debuff for 1 turn.
“Dragon Flame” is Martial Artist Ken’s second ability. This skill is passive. It grants a 30% chance that Martial Artist Ken counters any incoming attack and 100% chance to use the “Dragon Flame” ability upon receiving a critical hit. Whenever “Dragon Flame” is triggered, Martial Artist Ken lands a critical hit. The base damage of the critical is proportional to his lost health.
The name of the ultimate is “The Coming of Asura”. The cooldown of this ability 5 turns and it can be soulburned. “The Coming of Asura” attacks all enemies with a powerful ground pound causing obliterating damage with a 50% chance to place decrease Defense debuff on each target. At the same time, Martial Artist Ken is buffed with Increase Attack for 2 turns. If soulburned, this ability causes even more damage for a cost of 10 souls.
Because of his skill mechanics, Martial Artist Ken is definitely one of the best characters in Epic Seven. If equipped with Life Steal items and artifacts he becomes almost unkillable because he will heal himself after almost every attack. This can be used in both PvE and PvP especially since he can be built in two different ways – as a bruiser or damage dealer. Most importantly he can place Decrease Attack and Decrease Defense debuff with no elemental disadvantages and he can further increase his already immensely high base Attack. On the other hand, Martial Artist Ken is vulnerable to Stun or Sleep since he cannot counter and his base Defense is not very high which is not good for bruiser build. All in all, there are not many characters who can match Martial Artist Ken’s usefulness, especially in PvP.
Suggested artifacts for Martial Artist Ken are Sigurd Scythe and Strak Gauntlet.
Suggested Sets for Martial Artist Ken are Lifesteal Set and Crit Rate Set.
Fallen Cecilia is a Dark based 5 Stars Knight. She can be obtained via Mystic Summon.
Her first skill is “Mistake”. Fallen Cecilia attacks the single target with the spear of revenge causing moderate damage and has an 85% chance to place Provoke debuff for 1 turn. The damage of the skill is proportional to her Maximum Health.
Her second skill is “Strong Instinct”. This skill is passive. It grants a Barrier for 2 turns to all allies at the start of battle and grants the same Barrier to the ally with the lowest Health at the end of Cecilia’s turn. The strength of the Barrier is proportional to Cecilia’s Maximum Health.
Fallen Cecilia’s ultimate is “Spear of Resentment”. It has a 6 turns cooldown and it can be soulburned. This ability attacks all enemies causing an enormous destructive explosion of spiteful emotions. Upon executing this ability Skill Nullifier is granted to all allies, negating damage received from the next Skill Attack. The damage of the ultimate is proportional to Cecilia’s Maximum Health. If soulburned, the cooldown of the ultimate is reduced by 2 turns.
Fallen Cecilia is a mighty Tank who can start every battle with a Barrier. She can also Provoke enemies with 100% success if her basic skill is fully upgraded. Her ability to practically nullifies damage for the entire turn and ability to passively grant Barrier to a most injured ally every turn makes incredibly useful for certain game segments, especially PvP. Her main weakness is her damage output but since her damage scale with her Maximum Health, if properly geared she could be dangerous in that aspect also. However, she remains vulnerable to debuffs and stuns. Fallen Cecilia is a Tank in the true meaning of that word and she should be used accordingly.
Suggested artifacts for Fallen Cecilia are Elbris Ritual Sword and Aurius.
Suggested Sets for Fallen Cecilia are Speed Set and Resist Set.
Sez is an Ice based 5 Stars Thief. He can be obtained via Covenant Summon.
His first skill is “Dark Shadow”. It penetrates the enemy with dark energy causing massive damage which is increased proportionally to the enemy’s lost Health. It also places the Unhealable debuff on the target for 1 turn.
The second skill is called “Enroach”. This skill is passive. It grants an extra strike after using “Dark Shadow” if the enemy’s Health is below 50%. This extra strike will attack all enemies causing heavy damage with a 50% chance to place the Unhealable debuff on each target for 1 turn. It cannot be activated more than once per turn.
Sez’s ultimate is “Conviction”. This ability has a 6 turns cooldown and can be soulburned. It attacks a single target causing obliterating damage proportional to the enemy’s lost health. If this attack kills a target it unleashes a powerful additional strike against all enemies proportional to Sez’s Attack. If soulburned, the damage of the ultimate is further increased at the cost of 20 souls.
Sez’s skill-set mechanics allow him to cleave through opponents by using his soulburned ultimate which than becomes immensely strong and can one-shot almost any squishy target. This is particularly good for farming and for PvP, although after the Wing Rider bug fix he cannot cleave tanky opponents anymore. Sez also has a very high base Attack, Speed and HP. His main weakness is his low Defense and the fact that he is almost useless if he is unable to kill a target. His usefulness falls off as you progress through the game but at the end when fully geared with end-game equipment he becomes very strong and important again. Sez is the Hero who will definitely ease your early game and carry you through the late game. For reaching his full potential Sez’s ultimate has to be soulburned at any time therefore it is of utmost importance that you combine him with Mage who carry Tagahel’s Ancient Book.
Suggested artifacts for Sez are Rhiana & Luciela and Exorcist’s Tonfa.
Suggested Sets for Sez are Destruction Set and Crit Set.
Auxiliary Lots is a Dark based 5 Stars Mage. He can be obtained via Moonlight Summon.
His first skill is called “Black Magic”. It attacks a single target with a magic sphere causing moderate damage and increasing Auxiliary Lots’ Combat Readiness by 15%.
The second skill is “Mana Injection”. This ability has a 2 turns cooldown. It injects selected ally and Auxiliary Lots with mana increasing their Attack and Combat Readiness. The attack is increased for 2 turns while Combat Readiness is increased by 80% for selected ally and by 30% for Auxiliary Lots.
The name of the ultimate is “Desolation”. It has a 5 turns cooldown and can be soulburned. “Desolation” attacks all enemies with Mana causing devastating damage with a 50% chance to Silence each target for 2 turns. If soulburned it grants an extra turn at the cost of 20 souls.
Auxiliary Lots is a Mage who has decent offensive AoE that prevents enemies from using skills and who can grant free turn to selected ally increasing their Attack in the process. This is particularly useful for slow damage dealers because with Auxiliary Lots you don’t need to build their Speed at all. His skill-set is ideal for PvP (Arena, Guild Wars) but it can also be used in some PvE segments like Abyss or Raid as a setup for damage dealer who should nuke Bosses. Auxiliary Lots has a high base Crit Rate and with Tagehel’s Ancient Book she becomes powerful indeed. His main weaknesses are low base Health and base Speed. He should be combined with DPS Heroes like Sez for reaching his full potential.
Suggested artifacts for Auxiliary Lots are Tagehel’s Ancient Book and Sira-Ren.
Suggested Sets for Auxiliary Lots are Speed Set and Crit Rate Set.
Kayron is a Fire-based 5 Stars Thief. He can be summoned through Covenant Summon.
His first skill is called “Void Slash”. This ability can be soulburned. Kyron uses the sword to attack a single target causing heavy damage with a 35% chance to pace Decrease Hit Chance debuff for 1 turn. The damage done is proportional to Kayron’s lost health – every point of Kyron’s lost health increases the damage done. When soulburned this skill’s damage output is increased furthermore at the cost of 10 souls.
The second skill is “Immortal Will”. This ability is passive but it has a 9 turns cooldown. Upon taking fatal damage, Kyron receives an Immortality buff for 1 turn and the cooldown of the ultimate “Apocalypse” is reset. This can occur once in 9 turns. Additionally, “Immortal Will” grants that every “Void Slash” attack will become an AoE attack if Kyron is buffed. This AoE attack causes the same damage as “Void Slash” but it affects every target. Unfortunately, it cannot trigger a dual attack.
Kayron’s ultimate is “Apocalypse”. It has a 6 turns cooldown. Kayron utilizes the power of Archdemon’s Might contained in his sword to attack the single target causing overwhelming damage and increasing the Attack of the caster for 2 turns. Damage of the ultimate is proportional to the Kyron’s Health, If the target is killed with this ability, all buffs currently applied on Kyron are prolonged by 1 turn.
Kayron is a very powerful single target damage dealer whose damage output increases as his Health shrinks. However, since he is granted an Immortality buff he can unleash another full nuke when he dies with the maximum damage output. If he kills a target while Immortality buff is active, this buff will be prolonged for another turn making Kayron really scary. Kayorn has a great base Speed and respectable base Attack. Since his skill-set allows him to cause both AoE and single target damage, combined with his high base stats he becomes the bringer of Destruction in the right meaning of that word. Unfortunately, he has a really low Defense and for reaching his full potential he must be near death all the time. Worst of all is the fact that Immortality can be dispelled. Nevertheless, Kyron can be a killing machine if properly equipped (Immunity Set provides him permanent Immunity buff, therefore, his every basic attack becomes an AoE attack) and built, and he shouldn’t be underestimated at all. Obviously, his true power can be seen only in PvP.
Suggested artifacts for Kayron are Dust Devil and Wind Rider.
Suggested Sets for Kayron are 3x Crit Rate Set for full damage or Immunity Set and Crit Rate Set for constant AoE. Lifesteal Set could also be helpful in PvE.
Violet is an Earth-based 5 Stars Thief. He can be gained via Covenant Summon.
His first skill is called “Graceful Cut”. This ability can be soulburned. Violet uses a sword to attack a single target causing moderate damage with a 65% chance to place Decrease Attack debuff for 1 turn. If soulburned, the debuff chance increases to 100% and its duration increases to 2 turns.
The second skill is called “Duel Accepted”. This ability has a 5 turn cooldown. Violet prepares for combat by dispelling up to 2 debuffs on self, recovering 15% of the Maximum Health and granting self an extra turn. While this skill is on the cooldown, Violet’s Evasion is increased by 35% and she is granted a counter-attack with “Graceful Cut” after every successful evade gaining 1 Focus in the process.
Violet’s ultimate is “Butterfly Cut”. It has a 6 turn cooldown. Violet uses a Sword again, piercing the single enemy and causing obliterating damage which is proportional to the amount of Focus consumed. Upon using this skill Violet loses focus. If Violet consumes 5 focus, the cooldown of “Butterfly Cut” is reset.
Violet is a Thief who is very tanky in his nature and who is extremely hard to hit. He has a very high base attack and if he is paired with Heroes like Assassin Cartuja he becomes almost unkillable. On the other hand, he has no AoE attacks whatsoever, he requires Moonlight Blade for reaching full potential and his base Defense is very low which makes him vulnerable to nukes in the first turn of he is not fast enough. Violet is best for PvP but he can also be used for Banshee and Golem. His ability to apply Decrease Attack debuff should not be forgotten and should be exploited maximally by combining him with other Heroes with similar skills like Dizzy or Kayron.
Suggested artifacts for Violet are Moonlight Dreamblade and Violet Talisman.
Suggested Sets for Violet are Lifesteal Set and Crit Rate Set.
Ken is a Fire-based 5 Stars Warrior. He can be obtained through Covenant Summon.
His first skill is called “Knockout”. Ken unleashes a flurry of strikes against the single target causing massive damage with a 35% chance to place Decrease Defense on the target. If he is buffed with Vigor, he also Burns the target for 2 turns. The damage of the skill is proportional to his maximum Health.
The second skill is “Celestial Kick”. This skill has a 3 turns cooldown. Ken performs a powerful kick causing immense damage and increasing Ken’s Speed for 2 turns. This kick also has a 75% chance to place Decrease Defense debuff on the target for 2 turns. If Ken is under the effect of the Vigor buff chance rises to 100% and ignores the target’s resistance. Damage dealt with “Celestial Kick” is proportional to Ken’s Maximum Health. If the target is killed with this skill Ken will gain 40 Fighting Spirit.
Ken’s ultimate is called “Phoenix Flurry”. This ability has a 6 turns cooldown. Ken delivers a powerful blow after a flurry of strikes stunning the target for 1 turn and granting Vigor to Ken for 4 turns. “Phoenix Flurry” causes devastating damage against the single target and grants 15 Fighting Spirit to Ken. Damage of the ultimate is proportional to Ken’s maximum health. This ability consumes Fighting Spirit (Ken starts with 50Fighting Spirit and gain 5 whenever he is attacked) and has a 100% chance to place Decrease Attack debuff on the target for 2 turns.
Ken is a mighty Warrior whose damage depends on his Maximum health meaning that he can be built as Tank to reach his maximum damage potential. Vigor buff is very useful since it cannot be dispelled and it significantly increases both Attack and Defense. Ken has a very high base HP stat but his base Attack is very low which shouldn’t be very important since all skills are dependable on Health amount. However, Ken is highly dependent on stats so it could be difficult to build him as a balanced character. After the update, Ken became the important almost as his counterpart Martial Artist Ken. Because of skill-set, he can be used with success in literally every game segment but truth to be told he does not excel in any.
Suggested artifacts for Ken are Sigurd Scythe and Elf’s Fist.
Suggested Sets for Ken are 3 Sets of Crit Rate for maximum damage or Counter Set and HP Set for counter-attacking.
Luluca is an Ice based 5 Stars Mage. She can be gained via Covenant Summon.
Her first skill is called “Wild Wave”. Luluca attacks with intense elemental force causing heavy damage against a single target with a 50% chance to place Decrease Defense debuff on that target. Damage of the skill is proportional to the enemy’s lost health – the more the enemy has been injured the more damage it will receive.
The second skill is “Reko’s Blessing”. It has a 4 turn cooldown and it can be soulburned. With the blessing of stars, Luluca grants Increased Defense and Barrier to all allies for 2 turns. The strength of the Barrier is proportional to Luluca’s Attack. If soulburned, the cooldown of this skill is reduced by 2 turns at the cost of 20 souls.
Luluca’s ultimate is “Wave of Vengeance”. This ability has a 5 turn cooldown. Luluca unleashes the Power of Ruin to attack all enemies causing incredible damage and destruction. “Wave of Vengeance” has a 60% chance to place Decrease Defense debuff on each enemy for 2 turns and significantly increases the Attack of Luluca. The effects of this skill can be stacked up to 3 times.
Luluca is a mage who can protect the team and cause immense harm to the enemy at the same time. This versatility makes her ideal for PvE segments, especially for Abyss, Wyvern, and Raid. She has a great base Attack and solid base Defense but she is too slow to be used in PvP as Defense Breaker initiator. Because her buffs can be stacked she is ideal for long fights. If properly geared she could use her Defense Buff and Barrier almost every round which is great for new players. Luluca is a good all-around Mage who shines in PvE but who is not that good for PvP.
Suggested artifacts for Luluca are Spirit’s Breath and Kal’adra.
Suggested Sets for Luluca are Speed Set and Hit Rate Set.
Vivian is an Earth-based 5 Stars Mage. She can be summoned via Covenant Summon.
Her first skill is called “Vitality Drain”. Vivian smashes a single target with a rock causing moderate damage and increasing her Combat Readiness by 10%. If this skill critically hits the target. Combat Readiness of Vivien will be increased for an additional 10%.
The second skill is “Thunder God’s Cry”. This skill has a 2 turn cooldown and it can be soulburned. It attacks all enemies with the thunderstorm causing huge damage. If the enemy is killed with this skill it will be automatically executed again but with decreased damage. “Thunder God’s Cry” can be activated maximally 3 times in a row.
Vivian’s ultimate is “Magic Overcharge”. It has a 6 turns cooldown. Vivian fully amplifies her Mana granting Immunity to all allies for 3 turns and placing 50% Increase Attack buff for 3 turns on them at the same time. Vivian’s Attack is increased by 75% for 3 turns instead.
Vivian is a very powerful Mage who can be used successfully in both PvE and PvP. Her second skill can be devastating if it is executed under the effect of Increased Attack which means that she cannot successfully nuke in the first turn but she can shine in long fights like Banshee and Azimanak. She is very fast with a base Speed of 115, which indicates that she can open the fight with 3 turns Immunity and Increased Attack for the whole team becoming an important PvP character as well. If properly equipped she could become the best cleaver in the game which is most important for farming. However, Vivian is very squishy and her second skill needs someone to place Defense Down on enemies for snowballing therefore she is dependent on accurate team set-up. All in all, Vivian is Jack of all trades but she is not Master in any.
Suggested artifacts for Vivian are Etica’s Scepter and Time Matter.
Suggested Sets for Vivian are Speed Set and Crit Set but she can also use Attack Set and Crit Set since she is already very fast.
