From the world-famous NEXON company comes a visual masterpiece, OVERHIT mobile game. OVERHIT game represents perhaps one of the largest downloads for mobile devices for it not only brings graphics and 3D models that are very close to PC quality and their 3D environment, but it brings enormous content. This full 3D rendering in the Unreal Engine was perhaps expensive in terms of storage space, but it was well worth it considering the game at first glance. Let’s dig in deeper.
OVERHIT release date was on April 24th, 2019, and it was a global release. NEXON had some trouble with the launch which was harshly condemned by various online sources and magazines. The trouble was the enormous download. However, despite the judgment, NEXON quickly supplemented the release with additional patches and fixes and the game was up and running. On Google play, OVERHIT Android quickly climbed to 3 million downloads in the next two months, now stands at a 4.5-star rating from over 60 thousand votes, and has an Editors’ Choice title. On the iTunes App Store, OVERHIT also has 4.5 stars and has been dubbed the ‘incredible turn-based RPG’ by the editors.
OVERHIT characters from the campaign are at the same time the characters that you collect and from which you build your team. The story takes the player into a fantasy world where, in the very distant past, a band of heroes has defeated an ancient Primordial Fell God. The five heroes all parted ways after and each brought their part of the fell god with them. Those relics were used by the heroes for the prosperity of their worlds. Some of those Ancient God artifacts later fell into the wrong hands, i.e. into the hands of the Merchants Guild who used it for commercial gain.
The player comes into the part of the story where terrible demons and creatures begin to emerge and endanger the population. Various civilizations co-exist across space and time. You are tasked with safeguarding the Emperor’s daughter as you get acquainted with the members of your team and start building it from there. The campaign is quite immersive and story-driven, and most importantly it has lots and lots of content.
OVERHIT mobile game is a blend of several praised genres. It is in its essence a Role-Playing Game with Idle Combat. It is also a hero collector, a card collector, and a turn-based strategy. And, lastly, this game has ACTION! The campaign may be story-driven, but don’t let this fool you. Battles are springing up left and right, all perfectly integrated with the story, similarly to how Mortal Kombat 9, X, and 11 do it.
Your task is to build a team of heroes, keeping in mind their roles, stats, abilities, and level. There are over 120 heroes currently available to choose from and each has synergy with some other particular types of heroes. The battle system is idle and intuitive, however, you can also tap your skills if you choose. Lastly, there is a multiplayer mode with online play, guilds, PVP, and raids. The game takes the player through various dungeons and areas, where you fight your way through levels with enemies, culminating with bosses.
OVERHIT mobile game brings highly advanced graphics and appearance set on mobile devices. The game is not for weak, older phone models, unfortunately. It is entirely rendered in 3D – characters, models, animations, the background, all is done in the Unreal Engine. This is the main reason why it comes as such an enormous download. The initial download will be around 100mb for both Android and iOS, but once you start the game it will need to download the entire updated patch, currently over 2000MB, plus an optional voice pack of 250MB which is entirely worth it for the immersive cinematic campaign.
All of the characters are beautifully rendered, with incredible details, and impressive art style. There are cards with heroes, but during the battle, the heroes look even better in a 3D presentation. The entire setup for the main features that must be downloaded is like this:

OVERHIT mobile game is perhaps one of the most ambitious of NEXON’s projects so far. The game tests the limits of average mobile device quality and storage capability, but in turn, it doesn’t disappoint. It will bring a ton of content, an immersive story, cool gameplay features, and all wrapped up in a full 3D Unreal render. The game is a must-try for anyone who loves something along with these genres and has enough storage space, of course.

As mentioned, the OVERHIT mobile game is a blend of several popular genres, mainly RPG, Idle Combat, Hero Collector, Card Collector, turn-based strategy, and action. The campaign may be story-driven, but don’t let this fool you. Battles are springing up left and right, all seamlessly happening throughout the story. Your task is to build a team of heroes, keeping in mind their roles, stats, abilities, and level.

OVERHIT characters differ in-game versions for different markets, like Japan and Korea, for example, where some heroes and skills are different than in the global version. Thus, there are several different lists out there, some still valid while others are outdated. Basic heroes like Ash, Sophia, Victoria, Cicero, and several others are all part of the main storyline and are generally okay, but if you want the OVERHIT Reddit full comprehensive hero list, this is the most updated one, with the most viable info.
OVERHIT characters come from several factions, and they are:
Currently, OVERHIT guides are divided onto choosing best characters i.e. heroes in general, for Arena, Campaign, and Raid. These are heroes that appear in the most list found on the web, and we will just list the S tier for each purpose. They are as follows…
Heroes most frequently found in S tiers:
Heroes most frequently found in Arena S tiers:
Heroes most frequently found in Campaign S tiers:
Heroes most frequently found in Raid S tiers:
When talking about how to get SSR+, we will focus on methods that can get you those heroes for free, but there are multiple ways to go about it. The obvious easiest method is just to go through the campaign story, while the dimension gate allows getting 5 SSR characters, which are Ash, Sophia, Ren, Aria, and Malpion. Ash is guaranteed right at the start of the storyline, while the other four have a gacha chance. However, through the dimension gate, you can go after 3 pieces of the other four every day (daily), as long as you complete the highest tier (master). Make sure to go after the Master descent.
This method leaves you with 7 days per week, and if you complete all 3 daily Master descents, that’s 21 soul stones, not counting the small chance to get extra soul stone on a completion. Furthermore, when you do 6 weekly missions (out of 7 days) you also get the weekly mission completion reward of 5 character soul stones. That makes 26 soul stones in totals, which can make up to 1 free SSR hero weekly. If you don’t want to go after any of the mentioned 5 heroes, you can use their soul stones by going into the inventory and sell them to go for other characters. With the extra soul stones, you can go to the Soul Stone Store and gamble to try and get others, hopefully for the characters you are pursuing.
The best SSR+ heroes to go for are:
OVERHIT mobile game offers three basic ways of rerolling heroes and choosing the best method is a matter of personal preference and what suits best for you. There are also other methods, some time-limited and others demand premium currency, and these basic methods can also be costly, but are perhaps the best way you can spend your more valuable currencies. To reroll, you need to go to the Gacha menu, by tapping the Gacha button at the bottom-left corner of the main interface. The reroll options offered are divided into three main categories, and those are Events, Hero, and Equipment.
Legendary Tickets are, alongside Arns and D-Gems, the most used currency in OVERHIT globally. Legendary Tickets are mostly used for rerolling and are acquired from various sources in the game. However, they do spend rather fast also and they are a premium currency nevertheless. Just go to the Shop and check out the deals currently offered.
On average, you can buy one Legendary Ticket daily for 500,000 Arns, which is insanely expensive but still better than real money. 1 Legendary Ticket costs about $6 bucks, depending on the country you’re in. There is also a 2x weekly cap of buying 10 Legendary Tickets for 500 D-Gems, so that’s 20 for 1000 D-Gems weekly, which is not bad but again very expensive. Lastly, there is a daily 1 purchase cap on 1x Legendary Ticket for 50 D-Gems, which is generally not a great investment.

Doing rerolls in the Gacha shop will probably your go-to for obtaining and pursuing any heroes you want. However, Ren, Miku, Anemone, and several other OVERHIT characters can be awarded through story progression or by gambling your extra Soul Stones. If you try and reroll your Legendary Tickets, be prepared to possibly fail for there are online sources with cases of people rolling over 50 legendary tickets and not getting Miku, or any of the three.
The best thing to do is to grind through various game activities and modes. Level up, progress through the campaign story, play PVP and know which heroes you are pursuing. If you are going after these three (Miku, Anemone, and Ren) then focus on them, and spend all other Legendary Tickets, Soul Stones, and Arns on the reroll drop chance for them.
Grimoires can be obtained as you progress through the game, story campaign, and other rewards. However, the way to get them in exchange for your currencies in the Equipment Reroll tab. 1-Gacha roll costs 500k Arns or 20 D-Gems and the 10-Gacha roll costs 500k Arns or 200 D-Gems. Each Grimoire in the game has an approximate chance of 0.023% for an SSR+ grimoire. 0.261% for SSR grimoire, and higher. One Grimoire is guaranteed.
Tap the combined shop, then Gacha. Then go to the Hero tab and the first reroll option will be Ancient Gacha. As mentioned, they cost 30 World Shards each for a 1-Gacha roll, but this method will yield a guaranteed R or better hero, one SR or better, and about 0.714% chance for an SSR+ hero. All in all, there is a 10.000% chance for an SSR+ and 90.000% chance for an SSR hero, according to an in-game probability score.
OVERHIT mobile game is very much an ever-changing spectacle of Gacha delight, with the balance between heroes being constantly changed and tweaked. These suggestions are currently what we found on the web and gathered from our own experience. As the game progresses, so shall we and we will update the guides in the future.
