GRID Autosport Android

GRID Autosport racing to Android on November 26th

GRID Autosport Android release date is set for November 26th, in just a few days. It’s Feral Interactive’s latest AAA racing game which originally came out on PC and consoles under the developing arms of Codemasters, a renowned studio in the biz, who were the publishers as well. Feral then brought the game to iOS, to critical and commercial acclaim, and now it arrives on Android as a premium game app, with no in-app purchases whatsoever, just pure speed and fun.

Codemasters, the original studio behind the concept, is an award-winning publisher and developer with twenty-five years in the biz. They are particularly present in the racing genre scene and besides this title, they’re also behind DIRT and Formula 1 video game series. Feral Interactive stepped in to play on this title around the time the company was sold, after 2010. They are one of the leading publishers and developers of mobile games now, with their titles traversing to Nintendo Switch, PC, Linux, and other platforms as well. They’ve brought us ROME: Total War and Tropico to iOS and Android, among other notable titles, and have enjoyed critical and commercial success throughout.

GRID Autosport initially released in 2014, and the game already conquered platforms such as PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Linux, macOS, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo Switch. As mentioned, the game was especially praised for its hyper-realistic depiction of fast driving and detailed cars down to the screws on the wheels. While Feral ported this game to iOS, for iPhone and iPad devices, the original game continued even further. There was a succeeding installment also, titled GRID.
