Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to our Clubs Guide for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Clubs are an interesting optional activity that students can take part in. In order to unlock it, you need to reach Year 1 Chapter 7 of the main story. Once you do, the introductory side quest for the Clubs will become available. This quest only has one task, and it involves going to the Great Hall to hear the special announcement.
When you get there, Professor McGonagall will announce that the Sphinx, Dragon, and Hippogriff Clubs are looking for new members.
Each student can join one (or more) of these clubs to further enhance their studies. This will grant them some nice awards for their dedication. In other words, you will get to earn the experience points for each of the clubs and rank them up. Each rank will award you some useful rewards, such as energy, attributes, gems, coins, notebooks, and more. Shortly after, you will get to learn more about clubs from Professor McGonagall. This task requires you to earn two stars within an hour. One star is needed to pass.
While completing this task, you will notice that some of the actions have different colors and special club icons next to them. The green color represents the Hippogriff Club, the purple color is tied to the Sphinx Club, and the yellow color is linked to the Dragon Club. Completing these actions will fill up the star meter as usual, but will also award you experience points with the appropriate club.
Once you are done with the task, you will get to choose which club you want to unlock first. This choice will instantly grant you enough experience to unlock one club of your choosing.
Shortly after, this Side Quest will conclude.
You will then notice the special club icon on the bottom-left part of your screen. Clicking on it will open the Clubs interface.
Once you open this interface, you will be able to check out the rewards for each of the clubs, and you will also get to visit the clubhouses of the clubs you unlocked. You can do so by clicking on the club icon on the left side of the screen.
Increasing the club’s rank will place various artifacts in the clubhouse.
You will be able to click on these artifacts occasionally, and this will grant you rewards, such as coins, creature food, energy, notebooks, and etc.
Now for one of the most important questions – how to earn club experience? There are many different ways to earn experience for each of the clubs. Many of the in-game activities will award you with club experience. Sphinx Club is most efficiently ranked up by attending Charms, Transfiguration, History of Magic, and Astronomy classes.
You can earn Dragon Club experience by attending Flying and Defence Against the Dark Arts classes, as well as Dueling and Quidditch.
Lastly, if you are looking to increase your Hippogriff Club’s rank, you can do so by attending Potions, Herbology, Divination, and Care of Magical Creatures classes.
Other than that, you can earn club experience by doing activities with friends. Meal with a Friend will award you some Hippogriff Club experience.
Playing Gobstones will grant you Sphinx Club experience.
And lastly, drinking butterbeer with a friend will award you some Dragon Club experience.
Another way of earning club experience is via the Daily Planner. Some of the Daily Tasks will often award you experience with one of the clubs, so keep an eye on those.
Other than that, it is also worth mentioning that during story tasks, you will often get to complete actions that award experience with any of the clubs, so that is an additional way of ranking up the clubs.
Last, but not the least, rewards from earning stars during classes and lessons will occasionally let you pick club experience as a reward.
Hopefully, this information will help you get a better understanding of the Clubs feature of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
