Quest for the Quidditch Cup Part 1

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for Quest for the Quidditch Cup Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. This adventure is available for students who completed Season 1 Chapter 11 of Quidditch. During this adventure, you will get to play the final match against Erika Rath’s team. The winner of that match will be the house to claim the Quidditch Cup! So let’s get right to it and win that Cup for your House Team! Once you start the adventure, Orion will ask you to meet him in the Great Hall, so proceed there when you are ready.
[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 6 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on the year you’re in.]

Upon arriving, you will get to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say to you.

After greeting your Quidditch mates, Orion will inform you that Professor Dumbledore has an announcement to make.

Murphy will follow up with a few statistics.

And soon enough, the Headmaster will address everyone.

He’ll announce the Houses participating in the final match of the season.

And according to him, the winner of this match will be the house to claim the Quidditch Cup!

This news will get your character pretty excited.

Still, there is an issue Murphy will point out.

Thankfully, it appears that Orion already has a solution for that.

Listening to Orion’s plan will require earning five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.

For this task, it is somewhat recommended to earn only one star and wait for the timer to expire. This should save you up to 20 energy, which could make a difference in a long run. If however, you decide to fully complete the task, bear in mind that both Orion and Murphy have 5-cost actions linked to them, so focusing on these could save you a bit of energy.

According to Orion, the Chaser you replaced should be able to participate in the upcoming match.

Sadly, he is out of practice, which might make things a bit more difficult.

Luckily, Orion plans to train hard with him in order to get him back into shape.

Still, you’ll be unsure if that will be enough. After all, he has big shoes to fill.

According to Murphy, facing Rath will be quite a challenge.

In any case, Orion will calm both of you down. After all, the match didn’t start yet.

You’ll tell them you need to meet up with Penny. But you will visit Skye afterward.

Murphy will be curious to know what you plan to talk to Skye about. There are three options to choose from. These options won’t have any immediate effect, but they will influence the dialogue with Skye later on, when you go to visit her, so keep that in mind. Still, none of these will influence the outcome of the adventure, so feel free to choose the one you prefer.

Next, you should head to the Clocktower Courtyard to meet with Penny.

Once you get there, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the students. Tap on those if you are interested to see what they have to say.

Penny will congratulate you on being one win away from the Quidditch Cup.

She’ll also comment on the current standings.

You will tell her that unfortunately, Skye won’t be playing the final match.

Apparently, this is probably one of the few times Penny was not informed about something that happened at Hogwarts.

Needless to say, Penny will be very worried about Skye’s wellbeing, and she’ll ask you to tell her what happened.

This requires earning five stars within one hour. Since all five stars are needed to pass, it is recommended not to start this task if you are low on energy.

Both Penny and your character have 5-cost actions tied to them, which will make this task a bit easier.

The two of you will summarize things once you’re done.

Also, Penny will ask if Skye said that Rath hit her on purpose.

She’ll also be curious to know which one of them you believe.

The choice you’ve made during Season 1 Chapter 11 will be referenced here.

You’ll then tell your Hufflepuff friend you’re planning to visit Skye in the Hospital Wing.

Before you leave, Penny will ask you to send her best wishes to Skye.

When you’re ready, proceed to the Hospital Wing to visit your teammate.

If you completed Year 6 Chapter 14, you’ll be in for a surprise upon arriving.

Skye will be happy to see you.

You will tell her the good news.

As good as this news is, Skye will be quite sad since she can’t help you in the final match.

The following dialogue will differ a bit, based on your previous choice.

Moments later, Rita Skeeter will approach you.

Apparently, she is planning on interviewing Skye.

And she will ask you to join the interview as well.

Doing so requires earning five stars within three hours. All of the stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if your energy bar is empty.

The only 5-cost action here is linked to Skye, so prioritize her actions in order to save some energy.

Once the interview is done, Rita will ask Skye how she got injured.

And your teammate won’t hesitate to answer her question.

Rita will ask you for a comment. This won’t have any major impact on the story, so feel free to pick either option.

Moments later, Madam Hooch will arrive and she’ll ask Rita and you to give Skye some space.

Your teammate will say a few words to you before you leave.

Before leaving, Rita will tell you she’s looking forward to seeing the final match.

Once you’re ready, proceed to the Quidditch Changing Room to meet Murphy and Orion.

As you arrive, both of them will ask you about Skye’s current condition.

You will then share with them the advice Skye gave you.

While Murphy will see the logic behind Skye’s words, Orion will disagree with it.

You’ll remind Orion that discovering Erika’s weakness could be beneficial for your team.

Murphy will then wave his wand and the drawing will appear on the blackboard.

Next, you will need to analyze it and find Rath’s weakness. To do that, you have to earn five stars within one hour. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s recommended not to start this task if your energy is low.

There are 5-cost actions tied to Murphy and the blackboard. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

Sadly, even after strategizing, you won’t be able to figure out what Rath’s weakness is.

Moments later, Madam Hooch will arrive and tell you that your Head of House wants to have a word with you.

Proceed to your Common Room when you are ready.

When you arrive, your Head of House will remind you of the conversation you had before your first House match.

You will also be reminded of how important it is to win the upcoming match.

Your Head of House will then ask you about your preparations for the final match.

Discussing this requires earning five stars within an hour. Since all of the stars are needed to pass, it is recommended to avoid starting this task with an empty energy bar.

There should be a 5-cost action linked to your character. Focus on it to save some energy.

When you’re done, your Head of House will give you a piece of advice.

You will then be asked about your plan to win the Quidditch Cup for your House. There are three options to choose from. The best answer here depends on the House you’re in. If you are in Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, it is recommended to pick the “Hard Work” option. If you are a Ravenclaw, it is advised to choose “Flawless Strategy”, and if your house is Slytherin, you should go with “Ravenclaw’s Weakness” option.

Your Head of House will wish you good luck in the upcoming match.
