Quest For The Quidditch Cup Part 3
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of our Walkthrough for Quest for the Quidditch Cup Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you learned the truth about what happened when Skye got injured. As it turned out, Rath was not to blame for her injury, and Skye wasn’t too pleased when she found out. You also met with Erika to tell her about it, but she wasn’t happy either. After all, she got accused twice of something she didn’t do.

(Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 6 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on the year you’re in.)
Now, you need to meet with your teammates and practice for the upcoming match. Head to the Quidditch Pitch when you are ready. Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of your teammates before continuing. Murphy will ask you about your meeting with Rath. There are two options to choose from, but none of these will have any significant influence on the story, so feel free to take your pick.
He’ll also remind you that in order to beat Rath’s house, you need to learn her vulnerability. Suddenly, Face Paint Kid will appear after hearing your conversation.
Apparently, he might be able to help you.
Listening to Face Paint Kid requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
The only bonus progress action here is tied to Face Paint Kid, so focus on it whenever it’s available.
According to him, Rath’s got a blind spot.
However, Face Paint Kid doesn’t have all the information about Erika’s blind spot. Murphy will decide to think of a tactic to take advantage of Rath’s blind spot, and you will decide to talk to Skye about it after practice.
Speaking of practice, the task window will display all the relevant information. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.
This friendly is fairly similar to any other you’ve had so far, so you shouldn’t have any problem completing it.
When you are done with the practice, Skye will tell you she needs some time before she’s ready to talk. Three hours, to be precise. Simply wait until this timer expires and let your energy regenerate in the process.
Once the waiting time is over, proceed to the Quidditch Changing Room to meet with Skye. After greeting her, you will tell her about Rath’s weakness.
Skye will tell you she’s happy that Rita is writing an article about her, and she’ll also apologize for earlier.
Apparently, she is feeling like she failed the team. You have two options for responding to this. If you like Skye, it is recommended to pick the first option. Otherwise, feel free to go with either one.
You’ll ask her to help you and the rest of the team figure out the way to exploit Rath’s weakness. Orion and Murphy will arrive and agree with you on this.
You’ll then decide to work together to figure out where Rath’s blind spot is. To do that, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task with an empty energy bar.
There are bonus progress actions linked to Murphy and the blackboard. Prioritize these to save some energy.
When you are done, you will realize where Erika’s blind spot is.
Orion will remind you that your final practice should begin soon, and Murphy and Skye will decide to finish the strategy to exploit Rath’s blind spot while you practice. Still, this will leave you almost no time to learn new maneuvers; apparently, you will have to test them during the final match.
When you are ready, proceed to the Quidditch Pitch to attend your final practice. As you arrive, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Orion will say that you will need a lot of luck to win the Quidditch Cup.
Still, you can’t really practice being lucky, however, Orion has a plan for that.
He’ll gather everyone around and explain his idea.
Each of your teammates will then talk about their good luck rituals.
You will then get to hear all about their luck traditions. This will require earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s recommended not to start this task if your energy is low.
The only bonus progress action here is tied to Orion. Focus on his actions if you want to save some energy.
When you are done, Orion will ask if you believe in luck. There are three options to choose from. If you like Orion, it is recommended to go with the first option. Otherwise, feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.
Orion will also share his good luck ritual with the rest of you.
Soon enough, your practice will start.
This one is pretty much the same as most of the previous friendlies.
When you are done with the practice, Skye will ask you to meet her and Murphy in the Commentary Box. Head there once you’re ready. You’ll ask if they’ve come up with a new maneuver.
As a matter of fact, they have, but they’ve misplaced it somewhere, so you’ll have to help them look for it. To do that, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this if you’re low on energy.
Both Murphy and your character have bonus progress actions linked to them. Prioritize these if you want to save some energy.
Thankfully, Skye will find the missing strategy.
According to it, you need to protect your Seeker, Murphy will explain it in detail.
Skye will tell you to meet her at the pre-match party. Still, there are three hours before the party starts. Like before, simply wait until this timer expires and replenish your energy in the meantime.
Once you’re able to continue, proceed to the Training Grounds to attend the party. Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of the characters and check out what they have to say to you. Penny will be thrilled to see Skye at the party.
Some of the students will approach you and wish you good luck in the upcoming match.
Penny will mention that, so far, you’ve attended every single pre-match party since you joined the team. Perhaps the pre-match party brings you good luck?
Your character will comment on that. This line will be different, based on your current number of wins.
As for Penny, her good luck ritual involves reciting all the Felix Felicis ingredients. You’ll then get to talk to your fans. Doing so requires earning five stars within eight hours. All of the stars are needed to pass.
There is a bonus progress action linked to Skye. Prioritize it to save some energy.
Shortly after this, Rita will approach you. She’ll hand you a copy of The Daily Prophet.
However, it appears that the article is only about you; Skye is not mentioned in it by the looks of it. Rita will explain why she changed her mind about the article.
Moments later, Rita will leave, and Skye will ask if you knew about the article all along. There are two options to choose from. If you like Skye, it is highly recommended to pick the first option.
She’ll then tell you to meet her in the Changing Room since it’s almost time for the match. Proceed there when you are ready. You’ll be able to have a few words with some of your teammates once you arrive. One of the beaters from your team will tell you that Orion is acting very weird.
You will notice some magical creatures standing in the corner.
These will seem very familiar.
Orion will then proceed to explain why he brought all of these creatures.
As before, you’ll get a moment of vivification before the match. Preparing for the final match requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
Both Orion and the Flobberworm have bonus progress actions tied to them. Prioritize those actions if you want to save some energy.
When you are done, Orion will comment on your performance so far.
You’ll all cheer together before the match starts. Moments later, Madam Hooch will arrive and inform everyone that the match is about to begin. The task window will display members of both teams as well as some other relevant information.
Murphy will start by announcing the opposing team.
Next, he’ll announce your team.
Shortly after, the match will begin. Most of the maneuvers here are almost no different than the ones you do during friendlies. One major difference is that the time limit for them is much lower compared to practice matches, so keep that in mind.
Also, if you perform Parkin’s Pincer successfully, you will put a huge smile on Skye’s face.
However, certain “someone” will definitely not be too happy about it.
Just keep calm, and try your best to successfully complete all maneuvers. Bear in mind that you don’t really need the perfect score to win the match.
Lastly, and most importantly, you will notice Rath aiming to hit your Seeker with a Bludger.
You’ll need to protect her. This maneuver is a bit harder than the previous ones, so don’t let that catch you off-guard. You have enough time to do it, so don’t rush and just focus on hitting the correct sequence.
Should you succeed, your character will catch the Bludger mid-air.
Your seeker will get her hands on the Golden Snitch, securing you the win and the Quidditch Cup!
Murphy will announce the final score.
He’ll also announce the new Quidditch Cup Champions.
If your team managed to win the cup, you will notice smiles on many faces.
Also, you and your teammates will land to celebrate this victory.
Many of your fans will run onto the pitch to celebrate with you, including your most loyal fan, Penny!
Face Paint Kid will also be there to congratulate you.
You will notice Erika looking at you from the opposite side of the pitch.
Your captain will get a special surprise from your teammates.
Murphy will say a few closing words before the adventure ends.
Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. If you managed to win the Quidditch Cup, you will receive a special reward.
Also, there is another surprise waiting for you upon visiting Lower Floor – West.
Wow, what a match! This one will definitely be remembered for years to come. Thank you for reading and see you soon with more exciting adventures!
