Searching For A Comet Part 2
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for Searching for a Comet Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, Skye showed you her brand new Comet 260 broom, and since you don’t have a broom of your own, she wanted you to have her old Comet 220. Sadly, just as she was about to give it to you, she realized that the broom is missing. The two of you went on and looked for it, but you couldn’t find it anywhere. Skye suspects that Erika Rath is responsible for her broom’s disappearance, but she has no evidence to prove it. Now, you should meet with Penny to fill her in on the situation. Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard when you are ready.

(Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 6 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the requirements for certain tasks might be different for you depending on the year you’re in.) As you arrive, you’ll be able to interact with some of the students before continuing. You and Penny will sit near the fountain, and you’ll start explaining what happened.
Penny will find Orion’s methods odd, to say the least. She’ll ask if you’re frustrated about it. There are two options to respond to. None of these will have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick either one.
Penny will then ask you about the newest rumor.
Next, you will get to talk to her about the rumor. This requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this if you are low on energy.
There are bonus progress actions tied to both you and Face Paint Kid. Prioritize these to save some energy.
When you are done, you will learn that everyone is spreading the rumor about Erika Rath stealing your broom. Penny will ask if you truly believe that Erika took the Comet. There are two options to respond to. These won’t influence the story much so you can pick either one, but perhaps you shouldn’t jump to conclusions before finding any solid evidence about Rath’s involvement.
Not long after that, Penny will say she has to go. Moments after she leaves, Erika Rath will move near you, and she’ll “accidentally” knock you down.
Next, you should head back to Quidditch Pitch for practice. When you get there, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Tap on those if you are interested to see what they have to say to you. You’ll inform Skye and Orion about what happened.
You’ll instantly notice the smile on Skye’s face.
Apparently, she’s the one who started the rumor. You’ll remind her that you don’t have any proof of Rath’s involvement. Skye will simply nod and continue explaining her plan. Talking about Erika Rath requires earning five stars within an hour. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.
Both Orion and Skye have bonus progress actions linked to them. Focusing on these should save you a bit of energy.
When you are done, you will ask Orion about his plan to find the missing Comet broom and he’ll agree to talk about it after the practice. Next, you will be tasked with playing a friendly Quidditch match. The task window will display all the relevant information about it. Once you’re ready, hit the Start to begin.
Try your best to successfully complete all of the maneuvers in order to win the match.
When you’re done with the practice, Orion will ask you to meet him in the Quidditch stands. Proceed there when you are ready. Once you arrive, Orion will suggest searching for the missing Comet broom.
Still, his plan is quite strange, to say the least.
He’ll ask if you believe in fate. There are three options to choose from. If you like Orion, it is recommended to pick the first option. Otherwise, feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.
Skye still has her doubts about the broom being hidden in the Quidditch stands, but you suggest splitting it up in order to speed up the search. However, Orion has a different plan.
Searching your mind requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s highly recommended not to start this task if your energy bar is empty.
Both Skye and Orion have bonus progress actions linked to them. Prioritizing these should save you some energy.
Sadly, this “search” will lead you nowhere.
Moments later, Murphy will arrive, excited to see all three of you together. According to him, you need a good strategy in order to find the missing Comet broom, so he’ll ask you to follow him to the Great Hall to discuss it.
With this, Part 2 of Searching for a Comet Adventure will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 2 Gems and 1 Chocolate Frog.
What kind of strategy does Murphy have in mind? Will it help you find the missing Comet broom? Find out in the next part of this adventure!
