Sadly, there’s a waiting time of three hours before you can continue. This is a good moment to check the remaining time on the adventure. If it is anything less than 8 hours, you might want to use some gems to speed things up. Otherwise, you should be fine with waiting.
Either way, once the waiting time is over, proceed to Hagrid’s garden to finally solve this mystery. Upon arriving, you’ll get a nice view of Hagrid’s garden and its surroundings. When you get closer, you will notice several Cruppies playing with what’s left of your Comet 220.
Skye will be shocked by the sight, and Hagrid will offer an explanation.
Discovering the truth about the missing Comet broom requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
Both Orion and Hagrid have bonus progress actions linked to them. Focus on these if you are looking to save some energy.
As it turns out, Crups somehow managed to steal the broom.
And that means Erika Rath is not to blame for what happened.
Orion will be amazed by this turn of events.
Hagrid will apologize to you for what happened to your broom.
Despite being sad about your Comet broom being destroyed, you simply won’t be able to blame the Crups.
At least, the Case of the Missing Comet is finally solved.
Skye will ask if you prefer solving mysteries with your usual crew or with your Quidditch crew. This choice won’t have any effect on the outcome of the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.
Orion will suggest celebrating your friendship and both Skye and Murphy will like the idea.
Head to the Quidditch pitch for the final task of this adventure. As you arrive, you’ll notice all of them waiting for you, along with Madam Hooch.
This time, you’re in for a big surprise, a brand new Comet 260 broom!
This will definitely surprise your character.
Skye will provide an explanation.
As it turns out, you have Madam Hooch and Hagrid to thank for it.
All three of your Quidditch friends played a part in it as well.
Madam Hooch will also say a few words.
You’ll thank them once again before they leave the pitch. Penny will ask you to take your new broom for a ride, and the rest of your friends will be eager to see you do it.
Skye will quickly explain how to Broom Drift.
What follows is a scene in which your character flies on a brand new Comet 260 broom, performing the Broom Drift maneuver while your friends watch in awe.
Needless to say, you’ll be amazed by your new Comet broom.
Even Murphy will be speechless after seeing you perform that maneuver.
You will thank everyone once again for everything they’ve done for you.
Shortly after, Searching for a Comet Adventure will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 100 Empathy Points, 750 Experience Points, and 3 Chocolate Frogs.
From now on, you will be able to use your Comet 260 broom during Quidditch matches. And not only that, but you’ll also be able to perform the Broom Drift maneuver.
Well, that certainly was a rather unexpected turn of events. Now, with your new Comet 260 broom, you will be able to help your House win the Quidditch Cup!
