Chapter 10 – The Second House Match

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 1 Chapter 10 for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. This chapter directly follows the story of Searching for a Comet adventure, which acts as Chapter 9. Now, after all the preparation, it is time to play another house match, and hopefully, lead your house to victory.

(Disclaimer: Some of the tasks have different star requirements, depending on the Year you’re in. The following Walkthrough contains the images from Year 6, which pretty much has the highest requirements.)

When you are ready, proceed to the Training Grounds to attend the pre-match party. When you get there, you will be able to interact with some of the characters before continuing. If you completed Searching for a Comet adventure, Penny will mention it after greeting you.

According to her, you’re becoming increasingly popular among Quidditch fans. She’ll also mention the outcome of your first match.

However, your next opponents won’t be easy to beat.

Once again, Penny will reference some of the events of the previous adventure.

Moments later, some of your fans will gather around, eager to talk to you.

Talking to your fans requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions linked to Penny and some of your fans. Focus on these if you’re looking to save some energy.

Shortly after you’re done, you’ll remember you have to see Skye before the match. As always, Penny will wish you the best of luck.

The next task doesn’t involve spending any energy, so proceed to the Lower Floor – West as soon as possible. Upon greeting you, Skye will mention the results of your first match.

However, that’s not the reason she wanted to meet you. Apparently, this is related to Skye spreading rumors about Erika Rath.

Skye will ask if you think that spreading those rumors was a bad idea. This choice won’t impact the story in any significant way, so feel free to go with the option you prefer.

Skye will then say that the worst part about this whole thing is that Erika thinks you were the one who started the rumors.

She will apologize to you for dragging you into this mess. Orion will then arrive, saying that Madam Hooch wants to have a word with your team before the match.

There is a waiting period of four hours before you can continue. Since there is no time limit on this chapter, it is recommended to simply wait and let your energy replenish in the meantime.

Head to the pitch once the waiting time is over. When you get there, you’ll get to interact with some of your teammates before proceeding. Madam Hooch will start explaining why she gathered all of you.

She’ll then gaze in Skye’s direction. Obviously, she knows about her involvement in the rumors about Erika Rath. Moments later, Madam Hooch will start lecturing your team. Listening to her lecture requires earning at least one out of five stars within three hours.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Skye, so prioritize that one if you’re looking to save some energy.

Once she’s done with the lecture, she’ll briefly summarize it.

Shortly after she leaves, Orion will ask everyone to meet him in the Changing room. He’ll stay a bit with Skye and you, and he’ll want to know your opinion on the matter. You can choose to agree with Madam Hooch or not. This choice will be referenced later on, but other than a few dialogues, it won’t affect the story too much.

You’ll then explain that Erika thinks you were the one who started the rumors, but Orion will decide to leave this discussion for later.

The match is nearly starting, so head to the Changing Room to prepare for it. When you get there, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Tap on those if you want to see what they have to say. Orion will warn you about your opponents.

If you completed Searching for a Comet adventure, Skye will mention your new brooms.

Still, Orion will ask you to maintain your focus on a pitch since the quality of your brooms alone won’t determine the outcome of the match.

He’ll then gather everyone for a moment of vivification. This requires earning five stars within an hour. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task with an empty energy bar.

Both Orion and your character have bonus progress actions linked to them, so focus on those if you want to save some energy.

He’ll give you some final words of encouragement before the match starts.

Before you head out, Murphy will provide you with some statistics. These will depend on the outcome of your first match.

Also, he will admit that he’ll definitely root for you.

Moments later, your second House Match will start. When you are ready, hit the Start button to begin.

Murphy will be extra enthusiastic about announcing this match.

Shortly after, your opponents will fly onto the pitch.

And they will be followed by your house team.

Similar to the first house match, this one will also feature maneuvers that are significantly more difficult than the ones in the practice matches. The best thing you can do to ensure you successfully complete all of them is to take your time. Some of these maneuvers don’t have a time limit, so complete them slowly and steadily.

As for those that are time-limited, keep your hands steady, and try your best to hit the correct sequence. Even if you fail one or two maneuvers, there is still the chance to win the match as long as you perform the others successfully.

Once the match is over, Murphy will announce the outcome.

Next, you’ll need to attend the team meeting in the Changing Room. Upon entering, you will be able to interact with some of your teammates before continuing. The following scene will be different, depending on the outcome of the match.

Orion will decide to say a few words to all of you. Listening to the captain of your team requires earning one out of five stars within eight hours.

There are bonus progress actions linked to Orion and your character. Prioritize these to save some energy.

Despite the outcome of the match, Orion will say that the Quidditch Cup is still within reach.

He’ll also tell everyone that the preparations for your final match will begin soon. Moments later, Erika Rath will enter the Changing Room, accompanied by two of her housemates.

She’ll only say a few words before leaving.

Needless to say, Skye won’t feel happy about it.

Orion will calm everyone down explaining that your focus should be on the upcoming match.

With that, Chapter 10 of Season 1 will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 200 Coins.
