Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 1 Chapter 6 for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous chapter, you did your best to impress Orion Amari and get an invitation for Chaser tryouts. This involved some broom “balancing” and persuading, but eventually, you got what you wanted. Skye also returned and you learned that her father is recovering well from his injury. Most importantly, you attended the Chaser tryouts and now is the time to find out if you’ve made the team. Proceed to your House’s Common Room when you are ready.
You’ll notice that Skye, Orion, and Murphy are all here.
Initially, it appears that you’ve failed to make the team.
However, Murphy won’t be able to hold the excitement, and he’ll be the one to deliver the good news.
You’ve made it! You’re a new Chaser for your House team!
Murphy will ask if they managed to fool you. There are three options to respond with. None of these will affect the story in any significant way, so feel free to take your pick.
Skye will be happy to have you play along her side.
Shortly after, you’ll realize this is the first time you’ve seen all three of them together. Murphy will ask what do you think about it. There are three response options. Some of these will lead to interesting dialogue lines, but ultimately, you can pick whichever option you want.
Joining your House team certainly calls for a celebration, and both Skye and Orion will propose playing some Quidditch as a fitting way to celebrate.
The task window will display the rewards, available positions, as well as the cost of the friendly. Hit the Start when you are ready to begin.
Once you’re done, Penny will ask you to meet her. There is a waiting period of four hours before you’re able to do that. Since there is no time limit on Quidditch chapters, it is recommended to simply wait until the timer expires.
Once the waiting time is over, head to the Clocktower Courtyard to meet Penny.
When you get there, you’ll get to interact with some of the characters before proceeding to greet your Hufflepuff friend.
Penny will be overjoyed with you making the team.
She’ll then ask you about your teammates.
You’ll then get to chat with her about your Quidditch mates. To do that, you need to acquire five stars within three hours. One star is needed to pass.
Both Penny and one of the students have 5-cost actions tied to them, so prioritize these to save some energy.
When you are done, Penny will ask which one of your Quidditch mates is your favorite. While this choice won’t have any significant effect on the story, Penny will react best if you pick Skye.
Next, you’ll need to go and practice Quidditch.
This requires completing two Quidditch Friendlies. Sadly, there is a waiting period of 7 hours between these, but since Quidditch chapters are not time limited, there’s no need to rush.
Once you’re done with these, head to the Quidditch Pitch to attend special practice.
When you get there, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Tap on those if you want to see what they have to say.
Orion will be disappointed by the team’s lack of balance.
He’ll suggest solving this issue by finding balance as a team.
Skye will ask if you believe any of this. This choice won’t affect the story, but she’ll react better if you pick the second option.
Moments later, Orion will propose balancing as a team… literally.
His record might be a bit difficult to break.
Breaking his record requires earning five stars within three hours. All of the stars are needed to pass.
There is a fair number of 5-cost actions available, which should make things a bit easier.
Once you’re done, only Skye and you will remain standing.
You’ll ask Orion if you’re close to breaking his record.
He will dodge the question, which will make Skye very impatient.
Orion will ask if you want to break the broom-balancing record together. These options won’t change the story in any major way, so feel free to go with the option you prefer. However, if you pick the second option, you will please Skye, while the third option would make Orion happy. The first option is more of a neutral response, so keep that in mind.
Moments later, Orion will cheer at Murphy. Skye will assume that the record is broken, but apparently, it is “about to be broken.”
This will make her quite angry at Orion.
Not long after that, he will announce that a new record has been set.
Despite being a bit upset it wasn’t her, Skye will congratulate you for breaking the record.
Orion will announce your next House Match opponent.
There might be someone who could help you prepare for the match.
However, it will have to wait until you’re done with the practice.
You’ll then be tasked with completing two Quidditch Friendlies. Take your time to complete these since there’s no time limit on Quidditch chapters, and thus, no need to rush.
When you are done, head to the Quidditch Changing Room to meet with Murphy.
He will congratulate you for breaking the broom-balancing record.
You’ll inform him about the upcoming House match.
Luckily, he’ll be willing to help you.
He’ll wave his wand and the strategy will appear on the blackboard.
You’ll then get to learn his strategy. To do that, you need to obtain at least one out of five stars within three hours.
Both your character and Murphy have 5-cost actions tied to them, which will make it a bit easier to complete this task.
Once you’re done, you’ll realize that he was pretty much explaining the Thimblerig Shuffle.
However, Murphy is pretty confident in his strategy.
After talking for a bit, you’ll tell him you might give it a try as long as Orion doesn’t object.
In any case, you’ll tell him you’ll talk to Orion.
There is a waiting period of four hours before you can proceed. Simply wait for this timer to run out and let your energy regenerate in the process.
Once you’re able to continue, head to the Quidditch Pitch.
Shortly after greeting him, you’ll tell him about Murphy’s strategy.
However, Orion has quite a different strategy in mind.
This will come as a surprise to you.
He’ll decide to show you what he has in mind.
This will allow you to learn a new move. To do that, you need to obtain five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
There is 5-cost action tied to Orion, so prioritize it to save some energy.
When you are done, Orion will ask you to demonstrate this new move.
What follows is a breathtaking cutscene of your character performing the maneuver.
Orion will be impressed by your display of skill.
This will also unlock the broom-surfing maneuver for Quidditch.
Moments later, the practice will start. The task window will display the available positions, rewards, and the cost of it.
This is quite similar to most other Quidditch friendlies you played so far, so you shouldn’t have much trouble completing it.
When you finish the practice, Skye will ask what were you and Orion doing prior to it. You have three options to respond with. While these won’t influence the story in any significant way, it is recommended to avoid picking the third option if you care about Skye.
In any case, she will suggest using Parkin’s Pincer in the upcoming match.
Still, you’ll be unsure whether or not that’s a good idea.
Skye will tell you not to worry since you as a new player won’t need to call the shots.
This will give Orion an interesting idea.
He’ll then announce the strategy to the rest of the team.
This will conclude Chapter 6 of Season 1 of Quidditch. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.
Has Orion gone crazy? Is picking the newest player to be a shot caller really a good idea? Will it turn out to be a good strategy? Find out in the next chapter of Quidditch for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.
