Season 2 Chapter 1

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 2 Chapter 1 for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. The first season is over, and it’s time to resume your Quidditch journey. Whether or not you managed to win the cup, it’s time to move on. Shortly after you start, Orion will ask you and all of your teammates to attend the team meeting. Proceed to Quidditch Changing Room when you are ready.
[Disclaimer: Some of the tasks have different star requirements, depending on the Year you’re in. The following Walkthrough contains the images from Year 6, which pretty much has the highest requirements.]

Upon arriving, you’ll get to interact with some of your teammates before continuing.

Orion will gather everyone and say a few words about the previous season.

Going forward, he’ll wish to know the hopes and dreams of all of his teammates.

Sharing these will require earning five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.

Both Orion and your character have 5-cost actions tied to them. Prioritize these to save some energy.

When you’re done, Orion will ask you a question. There are two options to choose from, but none will influence the story in any significant way, so feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.

Shortly after, your team captain will ask everyone to depart for the Pitch.

Just as you were about to leave the Changing Room, Madam Hooch will arrive, saying she needs to have a word with one of your beaters.

You’ll notice the worried look on your teammate’s face.

Despite Skye’s objection, Madam Hooch will tell you to simply go on with your practice.

Speaking of practice, you’ll need to complete three friendly matches to complete this task.

Do these just like any other friendlies so far, and you shouldn’t encounter any problems.

After completing the friendlies, you’ll need to attend another practice. Proceed to the Quidditch pitch when you are ready.

You’ll get the opportunity to chat with some of your teammates before continuing.

You’ll ask Orion and Skye about your beater, Bean.

Skye will then make a funny reference.

Madam Hooch will approach and say that Bean won’t be playing Quidditch for a while.

Naturally, this will raise many questions.

Eventually, she’ll decide to sate your curiosity.

Learning what happened to Bean requires earning five stars within three hours. All of the stars are needed to pass.

The only 5-cost action here is linked to Madam Hooch, so focus on it if you’re looking to save a bit of energy.

As it appears, Bean has been skipping a lot of lessons lately.

Skye will strongly disagree with Madam Hooch.

She’ll also ask for your opinion. If you like Skye, it is somewhat recommended to go with the first option. However, this choice won’t influence the story much, so you can freely pick either option.

In any case, Madam Hooch will remind you how important it is to focus on your studies.

Skye will suggest playing Beater today since you already have four Chasers.

Orion, on the other hand, has a different idea in mind.

This is the first time you’ll get to play a Beater. Once you’re ready, hit Start to begin.

Beater maneuvers are more difficult than Chaser ones. The reason for this is that most of the time, circles are moving up and down while shrinking and expanding, which makes it a bit more difficult. Still, usually you have plenty of time, so don’t rush it, and focus on one circle at a time.

Next, you’ll need to meet with Murphy. However, there is a waiting period of four hours before you can proceed. As usual, it is recommended to wait and let your energy regenerate in the process.

Once the waiting time is over, head to the Commentary Box to meet with Murphy.

As soon as you arrive, McNully will have some questions for you.

You’ll quickly provide him with some answers.

He’ll tell you that playing Beater is vastly different than playing Chaser.

This will come as a surprise.

Apparently, there are some things you’ve yet to learn about Beaters.

This requires earning five stars within eight hours. All of the stars are needed to pass.

The only 5-cost action here is tied to Murphy. Prioritize his actions if you want to save some energy.

When you’re done, you’ll realize that there are a lot of things you didn’t know about Beaters.

Murphy will ask you a question about a Beater maneuver. The correct answer is Dopplebeater Defence.

Shortly after, you need to go to the Great Hall to meet with Penny. However, there’s a waiting period of three hours before you can proceed. Like before, simply wait until this timer expires and let your energy regenerate in the meantime.

Once you’re able to continue, head to the Great Hall to meet with Penny.

You’ll be able to interact with some of the characters upon arriving.

Penny and Face Paint kid will ask you about the recent events.

You’ll inform them about playing a Beater.

Needless to say, they will be surprised to hear this.

You’ll then start explaining everything.

To do that, you need to obtain five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

The only 5-cost action here is linked to Face Paint Kid, so focusing on his actions should save you some energy.

You’ll sum things up after finishing the task.

Face Paint Kid will be a bit jealous of Murphy quizzing you about Quidditch.

You’ll reassure him there’s nothing to worry about.

This will further motivate him to create another quiz for you.

You’ll then notice Erika talking to Andre.

According to Penny, two of them are mates.

You’ll find this surprisingly odd.

Penny will hint something very interesting.

Perhaps one day, you and Rath might become friends?

Shortly after, Orion will call you for another practice. Head to the Quidditch pitch when you are ready.

Once you arrive, you’ll be able to interact with some of your teammates.

You’ll notice that Skye isn’t there. Sadly, not even Orion knows where she is.

In any case, you’ll be playing Chaser this time.

You’ll question his decision.

Your team captain will offer an explanation.

Listening to Orion requires earning five stars within an hour. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Orion and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

Shortly after you’re done, Orion will ask which position you prefer playing. This choice won’t have any influence on the story, so feel free to pick either option.

Regardless of your choice, Orion will ask you to play Chaser.

Soon enough, the practice will begin. The task window will display all the relevant information.

This is pretty much the same as most of the other friendly matches you played so far.

Once you’re done, Season 2 Chapter 1 of Quidditch will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.

This will unlock Beater position. From now on, you can use it in Quidditch matches.
