Season 2 Chapter 7
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 2 Chapter 7 for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Previously, you learned that your next house match opponents will be Rath’s team. You did a lot of practice, and you also tried to talk to Skye about the things she told you about her father. Unfortunately, every time you tried approaching her, she dodged the subject, so you couldn’t get a straight answer from her. Now, it is time to practice a bit more before the next house match. Proceed to the Quidditch pitch when you are ready.
[Disclaimer: Some of the tasks have different star requirements, depending on the Year you’re in. The following Walkthrough contains the images from Year 6, which pretty much has the highest requirements.]

Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of your teammates and see what they have to say to you.

Skye will ask if you managed to get over your slump.

Luckily, you did a lot of practicing lately, so hopefully, that will do the trick.

You will use the opportunity to ask Skye about her dad again.

She will find it odd that you are asking her the same question over and over again. There are two options to reply with. This choice will have a minor effect on a dialogue later on, but it won’t affect the story in any significant way, so feel free to take your pick.

Moments later, Orion will gather everyone for a speech.

He will mention the current standings.

He will also recall the results of the previous season.

Your team captain will then say a few words of encouragement.

Synchronizing with your team requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

The only 5-cost action here is tied to your character. Prioritizing it should save you a bit of energy.

When you are done, Orion will ask you for a moment of your time.

Apparently, he has overheard your earlier conversation, and he sensed that something is wrong.

Your previous choice will be mentioned here.

Orion will explain how important it is for every member of the team to be on the same page.

By the looks of it, Orion wants the situation between Skye and you resolved.

Unfortunately, Skye wasn’t too keen on talking about it.

Thankfully, your team captain will offer to help you with that.

Still, he will only create an opportunity for you to talk to Skye. The rest is entirely up to you.

Shortly after, the practice will start. During this one, you will need to play Beater.

Try your best to successfully complete most of the maneuvers. This will earn you some nice rewards.

When you are done, you will be tasked with playing two Quidditch friendlies.

During these, you can feel free to play either Beater or Chaser. However, since you’ll be playing Beater during the upcoming house match, you might as well focus on practicing its maneuvers while you’re at it.

Like before, try your best to win these friendly matches in order to earn some bonus rewards.

Once you are done, Murphy will ask you to meet with him in the Great Hall and discuss the upcoming house match.

When you get there, you will spot the speech bubbles above some of the characters.

You’ll notice that Face Paint Kid is talking to Murphy about something.

Apparently, they were discussing one of the previous matches.

And by the looks of it, Rath’s team lost that one.

You will notice that Erika is just sitting at the table, staring blankly at it.

According to Murphy, her team has next to no chance of winning the Quidditch Cup.

You will find that piece of information very odd.

He will offer an explanation.

Listening to Murphy requires earning five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to all three of you, which will make this task a bit easier to complete.

When he is done explaining, McNully will tell you that Rath’s team can only win the Quidditch Cup if they win against your team in the next match.

He will even provide some numerical values.

Moments later, Erika will approach you. She apparently noticed that you’ve been staring at her.

Face Paint Kid will quickly drag Murphy away.

Rath will tell you she’s been watching your previous house match.

She will ask if you consider yourself a proper Beater. This choice won’t have any meaningful impact on the story, so feel free to pick whichever option you prefer.

According to Rath, the only thing good about your team are the Chasers.

She will also comment on the results of your previous match.

You will remind Erika that her team is not really in top shape at the moment.

She will say a few more words before leaving the Great Hall.

Next, you will be tasked with completing three Quidditch friendlies.

As usual, select the position that you prefer, and hit Start when you are ready to begin.

Once again, try to successfully complete all of the maneuvers in order to earn the rewards.

Once you are done with these, Orion will tell you he has created an opportunity for you to talk to Skye. Proceed to the Quidditch pitch when you are ready.

Skye will arrive at the pitch shortly after you.

You’ll quickly use the opportunity to strike the conversation with her.

Thankfully, this time, she will agree to talk to you.

You will start by recalling what she said before.

You’ll then mention that Penny told you Ethan Parkin hasn’t been injured at all.

Driven into the corner, Skye will decide to tell you the truth.

She will start by admitting she lied about her dad.

However, it’s not so easy to explain.

You will remind her that you have plenty of time.

She’ll then decide to tell you the whole truth.

This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to both Skye and your character. This should make the task slightly easier to complete.

In the end, she will admit she only lied about her dad because she got flustered.

You will find her explanation slightly confusing.

She will then tell you more.

Skye will admit she was jealous of your accomplishments.

She’ll also say that she doesn’t have many friends.

This was pretty much the reason she lied to you.

Skye will ask if you believe her. There are two options to reply with. If you like Skye and consider her your friend, it is highly recommended to tell her you believe her. This choice will have some impact later on. Keep in mind that you need to have Skye’s friendship level at four or higher in order to pick this option.

Besides, if you say you believe her, she will give you a big smile in return.

You will then admit that Orion didn’t really schedule a practice.

Thankfully, Skye won’t be angry about it.

She’ll then ask if you are up for a bit of practice.

Unfortunately, you’ll have to decline her offer since you have to attend the pre-match party.

The pre-match party should start in about three hours. Since this chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until the timer runs out.

Head to the Training Grounds when you’re able to continue.

Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of the characters and check out what they have to say.

Penny will be very happy to see you.

According to her, Skye is the topic of everyone’s conversations lately.

You will then tell her about your previous talk with Skye.

This will spark Penny’s curiosity.

You’ll tell her more about it.

Your previous choice will have an effect here.

Moments later, you will get to enjoy the party.

This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions tied to Penny and your character. Prioritize these if you want to save some energy.

Once you are done, Skye will arrive to inform you that match is about to start.

Also, Orion is planning another moment of vivification for you and the rest of the team.

Penny will try to convince Skye to stay for a bit.

Unfortunately, there is no time to waste.

She will wish you the best of luck before you leave.

Now, after all the waiting and practicing, it is finally time for… playing another three friendlies…

Since you’ll be playing Beater soon, you might as well practice it during these friendly matches.

As always, try to win these matches to earn some nice rewards.

Once you are done with the friendlies, you will finally get to… wait another four hours before the match starts…

Head to the Quidditch Changing Room after the waiting time is over.

You’ll be able to have a few words with your teammates when you arrive.

Orion will ask if you had the chance to talk with Skye.

You will thank him for setting things up.

He will then ask if everything is fine between you and Skye. There are two options to respond with. If you like Skye, it is recommended to pick the first one.

Moments later, Orion will start addressing the team.

He will recall the results of the previous Quidditch season.

And most importantly, he will say a few words to inspire the whole team.

Orion will then proceed with the moment of vivification.

Listening to your team captain requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Orion and one of your teammates. Focus on these if you want to save some energy.

Apparently, your team captain is quite confident you will win the upcoming match.

Skye will ask for a moment of your time before heading to the pitch.

The choice you’ve made during your earlier conversation will be referenced here. If you chose to believe Skye, she will be very grateful for it.

Shortly after, the house match against Rath’s team will commence. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.

As always, Murphy will start by announcing the teams.

He will first introduce your opponents.

Moments later, you and your teammates will fly onto the pitch.

This will mark the beginning of another house match.

This house match is not too difficult to win. Bear in mind that many of the maneuvers are not limited by time. Simply take as much time as you need, but make sure to successfully execute them.

Still, some of the maneuvers are time-limited. The most important thing is not to panic and try your best to complete them before the time runs out. Keep in mind that you can still win the match, even if you fail a few maneuvers.

Once you’re done with the last maneuver, Murphy will announce the winner.

This will conclude Chapter 7 of Season 2 of Quidditch. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.

The match against your fiercest rival is over. But things are not over yet. Anything can still happen. Thank you for reading, and see you soon with another chapter of Quidditch for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
