Season 2 Chapter 8
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 2 Chapter 8 for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you did some final preparations for the second house match of the season, the one against Rath’s team. You also learned that her team isn’t doing too well this season, which was extra motivation for you to play well. Finally, you played the match, and now is the time to attend the team meeting. Proceed to the Quidditch Changing Room when you are ready.
[Disclaimer: Some of the tasks have different star requirements, depending on the Year you’re in. The following Walkthrough contains the images from Year 6, which pretty much has the highest requirements.]

Once you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of your teammates.

You’ll start talking to Skye. Her mood will differ, based on the outcome of the match.

Regardless of the results of the match, Skye will praise your performance.

Orion will then say a few words.

And apparently, no matter if you won or lost the match, you are still able to compete for the Quidditch Cup.

Moments later, Murphy will arrive.

Apparently, he has collected enough data to calculate which two teams will play for the Quidditch Cup.

Listening to Murphy requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Murphy and Skye. Prioritize these if you want to save some energy.

After listening to Murphy for quite some time, Orion will politely ask him to get to the point.

By the looks of it, Rath’s team doesn’t have much chance of winning the Quidditch Cup.

Needless to say, Skye will be very happy about it.

But most importantly, you will definitely play for the Quidditch Cup!

The following few lines of the dialogue will be different, based on the outcome of the previous match.

Before leaving, Murphy will ask you to meet him at the Commentary Box.

However, before that, you will have to complete two Quidditch friendlies.

As always, select the position you prefer and hit Start when you are ready to begin.

Try completing all of the maneuvers successfully to earn the rewards.

When you are done with the friendlies, proceed to the Commentary Box to meet with Murphy.

As you arrive, you will notice Face Paint Kid sitting next to McNully.

He will inform you about your opponents for the next match.

It seems that they have won every single match this season, even the one against Rath’s team.

You will mention the results of your previous match against them.

Apparently, they play much better this season.

You’ll ask Murphy if he has any strategy in mind.

As a matter of fact, he has something planned for you.

Still, you will need to determine your strengths and weaknesses in order to find a way to improve.

This requires earning five stars within an hour. One star is needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Face Paint Kid and your character. Focusing on these should save you a bit of energy.

Murphy will sum things up when you are done.

According to Murphy, Beaters are the weakest link of your opponents.

He will also provide some statistics about you.

Still, your strength is a bit lacking compared to other Beaters.

Face Paint Kid will ask if you feel good about your chances. There are three options to respond with. These won’t have any major impact on the story, so feel free to take your pick.

Murphy will suggest talking to someone about it.

Perhaps Andre could advise you?

Before meeting with Andre, you will have to complete another two Quidditch friendlies.

When you are done with those, proceed to the Courtyard to meet with Andre.

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters.

It seems that the word about the Quidditch Cup finals is spreading fast around Hogwarts.

You will tell Andre about your power problem.

He’ll be surprised to hear that.

Thankfully, he will agree to help you figure out how to increase your power.

Getting advice from Andre requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions tied to both Andre and your character, which should make this task a bit easier to complete.

According to your Ravenclaw friend, you’ll need someone to help you improve your Beater skills.

Still, you’ll have to find someone who is very skillful at playing Beater.

Someone like Rath.

Andre will ask if you like his idea. There are two options to respond with. If you like Erika, it is recommended to pick the first option. Otherwise, you can go with either one.

In any case, you will decide to talk to Orion about it first.

Unfortunately, your team captain is busy for another three hours. Since this chapter is not time-limited, simply wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the Quidditch Pitch once the waiting time is over.

Apparently, Orion was talking to all of your teammates about the Quidditch Cup recently.

He will ask you an interesting question.

You’ll tell him about your talk with Murphy and Face Paint Kid.

He’ll be curious to learn more.

Discussing things with Orion requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to both Orion and your character. This should make things a bit easier.

You’ll sum things up when you are done.

Orion will be curious to know if you have the solution to your power problem.

You’ll tell him about your talk with Andre.

Your team captain will be surprised to hear that. He will ask you another question. If you like Rath, you should pick the second option. Otherwise, you can choose whichever one you prefer.

Either way, Orion will support you.

Still, you will have to persuade Erika to help you.

Perhaps Penny could be of assistance?

Next, you will be tasked with completing another three Quidditch friendlies.

And just as you finish those, you will get to wait another four hours until Penny is ready to help. Simply be patient and wait until this timer expires.

When you are finally able to continue, proceed to the Training Grounds to meet with your Hufflepuff friend.

Upon arriving, you will notice that Penny is watching Erika train.

She will ask if you have any idea how to convince Rath to train you.

Unfortunately, you still haven’t figured out that part.

Thankfully, Penny will be more than happy to help you.

Watching Erika train requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions tied to Rath and your character. Prioritize those if you are looking to save some energy.

When you are done, you’ll decide to ask Erika to talk with you in private.

Shortly after, she will approach you and ask if you’ve been watching her. There are two options to respond with. It is somewhat recommended to admit it and tell her the truth.

You’ll ask her if the two of you could talk in private.

Surprisingly enough, she will agree to your proposition.

Moments later, Rath will leave, and Chapter 8 of Season 2 will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward.

You managed to convince Erika to meet with you. But will you be able to convince her to train you? Will she agree to help you become a better Beater? Find out in the next chapter of Quidditch for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
