Season 3 Chapter 1
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 3 Chapter 1 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you learned that your team’s Keeper finished his Hogwarts studies, and will soon start playing Keeper for the Wigtown Wanderers. Also, Bean is back to playing Beater, so in other words, you got assigned to playing Keeper for your house team. Needless to say, this will be an entirely new experience. Are you up to the task? Time to find out. Proceed to the Quidditch Pitch when you are ready.
[Disclaimer: Some of the tasks might have the different star and attribute requirements, depending on the Year you’re in. The following Walkthrough contains the images from Year 7, which pretty much has the highest requirements.]

Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of your teammates and see what they have to say.

Orion will happily greet everyone and say that Ethan Parkin will observe your training.

If this is your first time meeting Ethan, he will properly introduce himself. Otherwise, he will say he’s glad to be back.

He’ll add that he wanted to observe your training, especially since you got a new Keeper.

You will mention that your former Keeper joined the Wigtown Wanderers.

Ethan will deliver a message to everyone from your former teammate.

The results of the last two Quidditch seasons will be mentioned here.

Both Ethan and Orion will say that teamwork is essential if you are to win the next Quidditch Cup.

Your team captain will say a few words about the upcoming training.

Unfortunately, he won’t be very specific about it, so you’ll ask him to give you more details.

Ethan will offer a straightforward explanation.

Moments later, the practice will start. Completing it requires earning five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.

If you are looking to save as much energy as possible, it is recommended to earn a single star and wait for the timer to run out. It’s worth noting there are 5-cost actions linked to your character and one of your teammates.

Slowly, but surely, you will start to get the hang of playing Keeper.

Skye will decide to give it another go.

She’ll throw a Quaffle at one of the goal loops, and you’ll quickly block it.

Orion will praise your skills and say a few words about Chasers and Keepers.

Skye will be curious to know how you are feeling about playing Keeper. There are three options to choose from. This choice will have a slight impact during a dialogue later on, but it won’t change the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

Orion will inform you that your skills will soon be put to the test in a friendly match against Rath’s team.

He will explain the importance of the upcoming friendly match.

You will decide to talk to Penny and Face Paint Kid after practice in order to prepare for the match.

You’ll first need to complete one Quidditch friendly. For this one, you will be required to play Keeper. Hit Start once you’re ready to begin.

Playing Keeper is different from playing Beater or Chaser. You will need to drag the token to each circle when it flashes green. On top of that, you will also need to avoid getting in contact with the Bludger, which will put an additional layer of complexity to this task.

Once you are done, proceed to the Great Hall to meet with Penny and Face Paint Kid.

When you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are interested to see what they have to say.

Penny will ask if you just finished your Quidditch practice.

You will nod and tell her that Ethan Parkin stopped by to observe your team’s training.

The following lines will differ, based on whether or not you completed the Second Quidditch Cup adventure.

Face Paint Kid will be glad that you had the chance to train with Ethan Parkin.

Penny will say she is excited to watch you play Keeper.

You will tell her that you’re soon to play a friendly match against Erika’s team.

She will remember the first Quidditch match you watched together.

Face Paint Kid will ask if you had enough time to prepare. After all, you haven’t really played Keeper in a match before.

Your previous choice will take effect here.

Penny will happily offer to help you prepare.

Face Paint Kid will say that he has a brand new Quidditch Quiz for you.

You will then get to review Keeper Basics. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

The only 5-cost action here is tied to Face Paint Kid. Prioritize his actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

Once you’re done reviewing, it’ll be time to put your knowledge to the test.

Face Paint Kid will start with a relatively easy question. He will ask you how many Keepers are on a Quidditch team. The correct answer is ‘One’.

He will then ask you to tell him what a Keeper role is. The correct answer is ‘Preventing goals’.

The third question will be about the ball the Keeper should pay attention to the most. The right answer is ‘Quaffle’.

Next, he will ask you which skill is most important for a Keeper. The correct answer is ‘Reflexes’.

And lastly, he will ask how many goals a Keeper must guard. The right answer to this question is ‘Three’.

Penny will be curious to know how well you did.

Face Paint Kid will tell you about the results of the quiz. If you answered every question correctly, he will praise your Quidditch knowledge.

You will say that you should head back to the Quidditch pitch soon.

Penny will wish you the best of luck before you go.

Next, you will need to complete two Quidditch friendlies before you can continue.

During these friendlies, you can play whichever position you prefer.

As always, focus on successfully completing all the maneuvers to earn rewards.

Once you are done, you will have to wait three hours until the match starts. Since the chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait.

Proceed to the Quidditch pitch once the waiting time is over.

When you arrive, you will be able to interact with some characters.

Skye will happily greet you when you arrive.

You will say that you’ll try your best to keep up.

She will tell you not to worry too much since it’s just a friendly match.

You will be surprised to see her so calm.

Skye will say that she’s trying to be friendlier.

Moments later, Orion will gather the team.

He will say a few words of encouragement to everyone.

Shortly after, it will be time for another moment of vivification.

Listening to Orion requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Bean and Orion. Focus on their actions if you want to save some energy.

Your team captain will say a few more words before the match starts.

You will tell him you are planning to do your best to fulfill your role as Keeper.

Shortly after, a friendly match against Erika’s team will start.

During this one, you will be required to play Keeper. The task window will display all the relevant information. Hit Start once you’re ready to begin.

Like before, focus on completing all the maneuvers successfully.

Near the end of the match, Rath will swing her bat at a Bludger, which will end up hitting Orion.

Your team captain will struggle to hold onto his broom, and he’ll fall on the ground.

You will quickly rush to his side to see if he is all right.

Madam Hooch will ask everyone to give Orion some space.

Skye will be concerned about him.

Madam Hooch will decide to quickly get him to the Hospital Wing.

You will notice that your teammates aren’t really happy with this turn of events.

Rath’s teammate will be quick to reply.

Unfortunately, it won’t take long for them to start arguing with each other.

Moments later, the whole situation will escalate to a loud verbal conflict.

Needless to say, you won’t be too happy about it.

Skye will point out that the situation could be a lot worse.

Rath will tell her that she didn’t mean to injure Orion.

Skye will say that she experienced being hit with a Bludger.

Erika will quickly remind her that was also an accident.

Skye will nod and say she knows Rath didn’t mean to harm Orion.

This will catch Erika by a surprise.

Skye will say that she does believe her. Unfortunately, that won’t help with both teams arguing.

You will say that Orion is probably the only one who could calm them down.

You’ll suggest visiting him in the Hospital Wing.

Skye will agree with you on that.

You will have to wait five hours before you can continue. Since the chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until the timer expires.

Head to the Hospital Wing once the waiting time is over.

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are interested to see what they have to say.

You will notice that Orion looks much better after resting for a while.

As it seems, you weren’t the only one to visit him.

Erika will say she wanted to apologize for injuring him.

Orion will be very understanding and he won’t hold it against her.

She’ll thank him and wish him a fast recovery.

Shortly after, Rath will leave the Hospital Wing.

You’ll ask Orion if he is feeling any better.

He’ll say he’s concerned about what happened on the Quidditch pitch.

You and Skye will also say a few words about that.

Thankfully, your team captain will soon be back on his feet, so everything should return to normal.

Orion will correct you and say that won’t be the case.

He’ll say that he can no longer fly.

Both Skye and you will be confused by his words.

He’ll offer an explanation.

Listening to Orion requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

The only 5-cost action here is tied to your team captain. Prioritize his actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

Orion will tell you that he was thrown off balance by his injury. Because of that, he won’t be able to play Quidditch.

You will find it hard to understand, especially since he’ll look fully healed.

Skye will remind him of the time she was in the Hospital Wing.

Orion will say that he simply cannot find equilibrium.

The following lines of dialogue will differ, based on the year you’re in. You will either ask Madam Pomfrey or Madam Hooch for an opinion.

You will ask if it’s true that Orion cannot fly anymore.

Unfortunately, his condition won’t be easy to explain. At least physically, he should be fully healed.

Skye will point out that magic should be able to heal most injuries.

You’ll ask if she is suggesting that Orion is lying to you.

She will want to know if you believe him. There are two options to choose from. If you like Orion, it is recommended to pick the second option.

Skye will point out that Orion’s injury isn’t only physical.

You will assume he was hurt on an emotional level.

Skye will say that might be the case. Still, she won’t know what to do about it.

You will suggest talking to Murphy.

Proceed to the Quidditch Changing Room when you are ready to meet with him.

Murphy will ask if you already visited Orion in the Hospital Wing.

You’ll quickly fill him in.

Murphy will be surprised to hear that.

He will ask if Orion will be all right.

Skye will tell him that physically, Orion should be fine. Unfortunately, there’s another reason why he cannot fly.

You’ll mention the thing about the equilibrium he said earlier.

You will then ask Murphy if he’s heard of any other Quidditch player who had the same problem.

Murphy will say that it might be possible.

You’ll offer to help him search.

This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There is a 5-cost action linked to Skye. Prioritize her actions if you want to save some energy.

Murphy will point out that there is a chance the injury shook Orion’s confidence.

Needless to say, that’s definitely not the good news.

Skye will say that all of you should do your best to support him.

Shortly after, Orion will arrive. You will be glad to see him back on his feet.

You’ll ask if he is feeling better.

He will say that he is fully recovered physically.

Skye will be curious to know why he cannot fly anymore.

Orion will admit that the injury shook his confidence.

Also, once he learned about the conflict between the teams, he felt responsible for it.

He will say he feels that he’s failed as your captain.

He’ll go on and explain that he cannot be a strong captain without his spark.

Skye will ask if you think Orion is the one to blame. There are two options to reply with. If you like Orion, it is recommended to pick the second option.

You will suggest helping Orion find his spark again.

He will ask if you would be willing to do that.

Both Skye and Murphy will immediately agree to help.

Orion will thank all three of you for being so good friends.

This will conclude Chapter 1 of Season 3. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. This will unlock the option to play Keeper during Quidditch friendlies.

What will happen next? Will you be able to help Orion restore his balance? Find out in the next chapter of Quidditch for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
Thank you for reading.
