Season 3 Chapter 4

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 3 Chapter 4 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous chapter, Murphy and Andre helped you strategize for the house match against Rath’s team. Later on, Skye asked her father to help the team prepare. You attended the pre-match party afterward, and then you went to play your first house match of the season. Unfortunately, after the match, the players of both teams started arguing, and the situation escalated quickly. Madam Hooch decided to punish both teams by suspending them from the Quidditch Cup until they learn the values of sportsmanship and fair play. In other words, both teams will have to go to detention together and learn to set aside their differences, if they want to get the suspension lifted. Thankfully, Madam Hooch allowed the teams to continue practicing in the meantime. Once you start the chapter, head to the Quidditch pitch to attend your team’s practice.

Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of your teammates and see what they have to say.

You will notice that most of your teammates are upset about being suspended from the Quidditch Cup.

Skye will point out the silver lining of the whole situation.

She will say that both of you need to cheer up your teammates.

You’ll also need to convince them to cooperate with Erika’s team.

Skye will admit that cooperation isn’t her strong suit.

Still, she has been cooperating with Erika recently.

You will wonder what your captain would do in your shoes.

Skye will point out there are other ways to motivate your teammates.

You will then get to choose how to motivate the team. This choice will have some impact on the dialogue later on, but it won’t change the outcome of the story, so feel free to choose the option you prefer.

Shortly after, Skye will gather up the team.

Both of you will tell them that your team’s current situation is far from ideal, especially since you don’t have a captain at the moment.

However, those exactly are the reason why you decided to cheer up your teammates.

The following lines will differ, based on your previous choice.

Motivating your team requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

The only 5-cost action here is tied to your character, so prioritize your actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

Both Skye and you will explain how important it is to get along with Rath’s team.

You will say a few more words to motivate your teammates. Your previous choice will have an effect on the next few lines of dialogue.

Once you’re done with the speech, your teammates will happily start cheering.

Skye will be impressed by your speech. Her lines will differ, based on your previous choice.

Still, you will wonder if your team will be able to cooperate with Erika’s team during detention.

Unfortunately, there’s no way of knowing for sure.

However, you’ve got to do what it takes to keep the peace.

You will decide to talk to Penny after practice and see if she can help you with that.

Speaking of practice, you will need to complete one Quidditch friendly before you can continue. For this one, you will need to play Keeper. The task window will provide you with all relevant information, so hit Start when you are ready to begin.

Once you’re done, you will need to wait three hours until Penny is ready to meet with you. Since this chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to simply wait until the timer runs out.

Head to the Training Grounds once the waiting time is over.

When you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are interested to see what they have to say.

Penny will say she’s glad to finally get the chance to talk to you about your house match.

You will mention the outcome of the match.

Penny will say there is a rumor circulating around.

She will ask if Madam Hooch suspended your team from the Quidditch Cup.

You will nod and say that both teams got suspended.

She will ask if your team took the news well.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, but you did manage to cheer them up a bit.

Penny will be happy to hear that, and she’ll say that you should focus on convincing Madam Hooch to lift the suspension.

You will inform her about what your team needs to do in order for that to happen.

Sadly, getting both teams to cooperate isn’t easy.

You will ask Penny if she could help you with that.

She’ll happily offer to share some of her ideas with you.

Talking to Penny requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Penny and Orion. Focus on those if you want to save as much energy as possible.

Penny will advise you to find something both teams have in common, in order to get them to cooperate.

You will point out that both teams are suspended from the Quidditch Cup and stuck in detention.

Penny will suggest using that to bring the teams together.

Still, you will be unsure if it will be enough.

You will figure out another thing both teams have in common.

Penny will ask if you are up to the challenge. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t have a big impact on the story, so feel free to go with either option.

Shortly after, you will leave the Training Grounds.

Before going to detention, you will need to complete two Quidditch friendlies.

During these friendlies, you can feel free to select any position you prefer.

Try completing all the maneuvers successfully to earn the rewards.

When you are done, you will need to wait five hours until you can continue. Once again, it is recommended to wait until the timer runs out.

Proceed to the Great Hall after the waiting time is over.

Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters.

You will notice that the teams aren’t really feeling cooperative, to say the least.

Skye will ask if you talked to Penny about the current situation.

You will nod and say that the easiest way to bring the teams together is to find something they have in common.

Skye and Murphy will point out some things that could be used to make the teams cooperate.

You will say that both teams are eager to compete for the Quidditch Cup once again.

Erika will approach you and say that the Seekers are arguing about who has the best eyesight.

You will quickly realize that being competitive is another thing both teams have in common.

That will give you an interesting idea.

Murphy will happily offer to commentate the competition.

Skye will like your idea.

Erika will decide to ask her teammates if they are up for it.

In the meantime, Skye and you will talk to your teammates.

You will gather them up and tell them about your idea.

Luckily, all of them will be up for it.

Shortly after, the cleaning competition will start.

Cleaning the Great Hall requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. The only 5-cost action is tied to Rath’s keeper, so focus on that one if you want to save a bit of energy.

Erika will point out that your plan worked as intended. The Great Hall got cleaned up, and the teams didn’t argue.

Skye will say that it’s time to pick the winner of the competition.

Rath will suggest asking McNully to choose the winning team.

Skye, on the other hand, will ask you to decide.

You will get to choose who won the cleaning competition. This choice will impact some of the dialogue lines later on.

You will turn to the members of both teams and announce the winners.

The following lines will differ, based on your choice. Unfortunately, no matter which team ends up winning, the other team will be unhappy about it.

It won’t take long for teams to start arguing again.

Shortly after, all of them will leave the Great Hall, and you will admit you’ve hoped the things would’ve played out differently.

The following few lines will differ, based on your previous choice.

Needless to say, you will need to find a way to get the teams to cooperate.

Skye will suggest talking to your team and convincing them to stop arguing.

Erika will nod and say she will also talk to her teammates.

You will then need to attend another Quidditch Practice. Proceed to the Quidditch Pitch when you are ready.

Once you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of your teammates and see what they have to say.

Skye will ask if you are ready to talk to the team.

Ready or not, you will have to talk to them about their behavior.

Unfortunately, neither you nor Skye expected the things to play out the way they did.

Your previous choice will be referenced here.

Luckily, Madam Hooch wasn’t there to see the teams arguing.

Sadly, your teammates failed to realize they will have to cooperate with Rath’s team in order to compete for the Quidditch Cup again.

You will notice that Skye is frustrated about the whole situation.

She will ask if you are frustrated too. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t have any big impact on the story, so feel free to pick either option.

In any case, you will need to find a way to convince your teammates to cooperate.

You will suggest discussing the matter with them.

Murphy will provide you with some statistical data.

You’ll then get to talk to your teammates before the practice starts.

This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There is a 5-cost action linked to your character, so prioritize your actions to save a bit of energy.

You’ll ask Skye if you’ve talked to everyone about cooperating in detention.

She will say you did, but just in case, she’ll suggest addressing the team once again.

She’ll quickly grab everyone’s attention.

You will tell your teammates you completely understand the situation they’re in.

However, the only way to get Madam Hooch to lift the suspension is to get along with Rath’s team.

Skye will back you up and say a few words to convince your teammates.

Unfortunately, your Seeker will find it hard to believe.

Skye will say that she’s changed since the previous season.

You will also point out that she’s been cooperating with Erika recently.

And if she can set aside her differences with her rivals, so can the rest of your team.

Thankfully, your teammates will see the wisdom in her words.

Moments later, all of them will happily start cheering.

You will then need to finish the practice. This time, you will need to play Keeper.

Once you are done, you will need to go to detention. Proceed to the Courtyard when you are ready.

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you want to see what they have to say.

You’ll take a look around and notice that none of the players are arguing.

Thankfully, your teammates were willing to listen.

Erika will point out that they are simply ignoring one another.

According to her, it’s only a matter of time until they start arguing again.

Needless to say, none of you would want that to happen.

In any case, you will need to think of a way to get the teams to cooperate.

Rath will suggest cleaning together to inspire confidence.

Both Skye and you will like the idea.

Cleaning the Courtyard requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions tied to Skye and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

Thankfully, cleaning the courtyard will end up peacefully.

Both Skye and Erika will be happy with that outcome.

Still, you will need to find a way to get the teams to cooperate.

Luckily, you will have an idea that could work.

You will suggest resolving the conflict with a Quidditch match.

Rath will be quite certain that Madam Hooch won’t let you use the pitch.

Skye will say that she doesn’t have to know about the match.

In other words, you will need to keep the match secret from the professors.

Erika will remind you that word travels fast at Hogwarts.

Needless to say, things will be very complicated if Madam Hooch finds out what you’re up to.

Still, that should motivate everyone to keep their mouths shut.

All that’s left is to inform the teams about your plan.

You will then need to complete three Quidditch friendlies.

You can feel free to play any position you prefer during these matches.
