Season 3 Chapter 7
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 3 Chapter 6 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous chapter, you talked to Orion, and he told you there are three important aspects every member of the team needs to nurture in order to achieve balance. Those three aspects are the body, the mind, and the heart. You informed Skye about it and decided to start by helping the teammates nurture their bodies. You asked Erika for advice, and she agreed to help. She told you about her special exercise which involves doing broomstick pull-ups. Afterward, you met with the team, and used Erika’s exercise to help them nurture their bodies. Later on, you met with Rath again, and she taught you the Hanging Broom Block maneuver, which will undoubtedly come in handy during some of the upcoming house matches. Now, it is time to continue seeking balance by nurturing another aspect, mind. Head to the Quidditch Pitch once you are ready.
[Disclaimer: Some of the tasks might have different star and attribute requirements, depending on the Year you’re in. The following Walkthrough contains the images from Year 7, which pretty much has the highest requirements.]

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say.

Skye will be happy with the current state of your team.

You’ll be glad that Rath agreed to help you and your teammates.

Now that your team is done with training their bodies, there are two other aspects left to be nurtured.

Hopefully, after doing that, you and your teammates will be able to achieve balance.

You will suggest starting with one of Rath’s easier exercises to warm up.

Skye will like your idea, as long as it doesn’t involve any more broomstick pull-ups.

You’ll tell her that you have something else in mind.

Skye will quickly gather the team.

You will tell them they are going to warm up with a lighter exercise.

And the exercise you had in mind is hitting some Bludgers.

Hitting Bludgers back and forth requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions tied to Bean, Skye, and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

Skye will be happy that your teammates performed the exercise so well.

You’ll also be glad that the hard work is finally paying off.

Skye will suggest nurturing the minds next.

Hopefully, the team will be successful at that too.

After all, nurturing minds is vastly different from nurturing bodies.

Skye will ask which of those aspects you think is more important for Quidditch. There are two options to choose from. Given that you are trying to achieve balance, both of those things are equally important, which is why it’s recommended to pick the third option.

In any case, you will say that you need some help with figuring out how to help the team nurture their minds.

Skye will say that Rath definitely isn’t the right person to help you with that.

You’ll nod and say that Rath surely knows everything about training the body, but training the mind is something completely different.

Skye will suggest asking Murphy for help.

You will like that idea.

You’ll be eager to talk to Murphy.

Skye will remind you about the Quidditch practice.

You’ll nod and say that you are going to see Murphy after the practice is over.

During the practice, you will need to play Keeper.

As always, try your best to successfully complete the maneuvers to earn rewards.

Once you are done, you will need to wait three hours until Murphy is ready to meet with you. Since the chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until the timer runs out.

Proceed to the Great Hall once the waiting time is over.

Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some characters and see what they have to say.

You’ll thank Murphy for meeting you and say that you have a Quidditch matter to discuss.

He will be interested to hear what you have to say.

However, his attention will be divided between you, Andre, Penny, and even a nearby sandwich.

You’ll be slightly upset that you don’t have Murphy’s full attention.

He’ll apologize and say that every great commentator needs to be fully aware of everything that’s going on around them.

You will tell him about the advice you received from Orion.

You’ll mention that thanks to Erika’s help, you and your teammates were able to get one step closer to achieving balance.

Murphy will be impressed by that.

You’ll tell him that the team still needs to nurture their minds and hearts.

That way, you and your teammates will be able to achieve true balance.

Murphy will like the strategy.

He’ll admit he is looking forward to Orion returning to the team.

He will add that you are doing a great job as a leader in Orion’s absence. There are three options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to go with the option you prefer.

Either way, you will say that you often need help and guidance, which is why you decided to seek Murphy’s help. You’ll ask him to help the team nurture their minds for Quidditch.

He will ask you to play a game of wizard’s chess with him while he tells you all he knows about sharpening the mind.

Playing wizard’s chess requires earning five stars within an hour. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

There are 5-cost actions tied to Murphy and your character. Focus on those if you want to save a bit of energy.

After finishing the game, you will already start feeling smarter.

Murphy will say that wizard’s chess always teaches its players valuable lessons of the mind.

You’ll be curious to know how he came up with that.

He’ll smile and say he is always thinking about Quidditch.

On top of that, he also has a trusted source that helps him learn new things.

Hearing that will grab your interest.

He’ll tell you that the person in question is kind of a mentor to him.

You’ll ask him to tell you more.

Murphy will wonder why you need the help of someone else.

You’ll use his own logic against him and explain that there is always more to learn about Quidditch.

Still, he will be unsure if letting you visit his mentor would be the right thing to do.

You’ll tell him that every member of the team would greatly appreciate it.

Unfortunately, that won’t be enough to persuade him, so you will need to push him a little further. There are two options to choose from. Both of those will end up with a similar outcome, so feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.

In the end, Murphy will agree to take you to his mentor.

He will reveal that the mysterious person is none other than Professor McGonagall.

Everything will immediately start making sense.

If you’ve completed A Special Celebration of Hogwarts Teachers adventure, you will get an additional line of dialogue.

Murphy will smile and say that great minds think alike.

You will decide to visit Professor McGonagall and ask her for help.

Head to the Transfiguration classroom when you are ready.

Professor McGonagall will say that she didn’t expect Murphy to visit her outside of their scheduled chess game.

You’ll say that you are the one to blame for that.

You will go on and tell her you are trying to help your teammates nurture their minds.

She’ll wonder why you decided to seek Murphy’s help.

Your friend will confidently say that his Quidditch strategy knowledge is unparalleled.

The Professor will give him a stern look.

Murphy will quickly correct his statement.

You will politely ask Professor McGonagall to share some of her wisdom with you.

She’ll be unsure whether or not she can help you.

The following line will differ, based on the house that you’re in.

She will scold Murphy for not being completely unbiased.

Murphy will explain why he decided to help you.

Professor McGonagall will say that you and your teammates have to overcome the absence of your captain on your own.

You will try to say a few words to convince her. The following lines will differ, based on whether or not you completed A Special Celebration of Hogwarts Teachers adventure.

Professor McGonagall will admire your commitment to helping your team.

She will agree to help you learn how to nurture your mind.

Hearing that will put a huge smile on your face.

Still, the Professor will say that she will only offer advice. You and your teammates will still need to do all the challenging work.

You’ll gladly agree to that.

Learning from Professor McGonagall requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Professor McGonagall and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

You’ll thank the Professor for the lesson on Quidditch strategy.

You will also sum up the most important things you learned.

Professor McGonagall will also say a few words.

You will need to understand what your opponents are thinking.

That way, you will be able to anticipate their moves.

Professor McGonagall will point out that Wizard’s Chess and Quidditch are quite similar.

Murphy will agree with her.

He’ll boldly say he anticipated that Professor McGonagall was going to give you the advice.

The Professor won’t be too sure of it.

Your friend will ask if you believe him. There are two options to reply with. If you like Murphy, it is recommended to pick the first option.

You will tell him you’ve come up with a new Quidditch strategy.

You’ll ask him to help you teach it to the team.

Murphy will gladly offer his assistance.

Before leaving the classroom, you will thank Professor McGonagall for sharing some of her wisdom with you.

Now it’s up to you to help your teammates nurture their minds.

You will need to wait four hours until you can continue. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait, and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the Quidditch Changing Room once the waiting time is over.

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of your teammates. Tap on those if you are interested to see what they have to say.

Skye will ask if you’ve managed to find a way to help the team nurture their minds.

You’ll smile and say that you have something that should help the team achieve balance.

You will tell her that empathizing with the opponent is what the team needs to sharpen their minds.

Skye will be surprised to hear that.

Murphy will provide an explanation.

Skye will realize the potential of such a strategy.

You’ll decide to show it to the team with the help of Murphy and his blackboard.

Moments later, Skye will gather up the team.

You will tell them that it’s time to nurture their minds.

Skye will also add a few words.

Shortly after, the demonstration of the new strategy will begin.

Learning to anticipate moves requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

The only 5-cost action here is tied to Murphy, so prioritize his actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

You will say a few more words after explaining everything about the strategy.

Murphy will ask you a question about predicting your opponent’s moves. There are three options to reply with. The correct answer is “Shoulders and eyes”.

You will thank him for helping you teach the lesson to the team.

You’ll then suggest getting out to the pitch to practice the strategy.

Head to the Quidditch Pitch when you are ready to continue.

When you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of your teammates and see what they have to say.

After helping the team sharpen their minds, it is time to test whether or not they can anticipate each other’s moves.

According to Skye, it won’t be easy, but she’ll be confident that your teammates have what it takes to properly execute the strategy.

You’ll agree with her.

You’ll suggest gathering the team to prepare them for the exercise.

Once again, Skye will grab the attention of your teammates.

You’ll inform them about the goal of the exercise.

You will advise them to remember what Murphy said and rely on each other.

Skye will tell the team to keep their eyes open.

Shortly after, the practice will begin.

Anticipating moves requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are 5-cost actions tied to Skye and your team’s Seeker. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

Skye will be very satisfied with everyone’s performance.

You’ll also be happy that your teammates managed to anticipate each other’s movements.

This will hopefully allow them to anticipate the opponents’ moves during the next house match.

You’ll then decide to put your mind to the test with a new move.

You and your teammates will get on the brooms and you’ll successfully demonstrate the new move.

Skye will like the new maneuver you used.

You will tell your teammates to get a bit of rest before practice starts.

Skye will say that the team is one step closer to achieving balance.

There is only one aspect left to nurture, the heart.

Skye will admit she is looking forward to that.

And once that’s done, your team will achieve balance and be ready for the upcoming match.

Next, you will need to complete two Quidditch friendlies.

During these, feel free to pick any position you prefer. The task window will display all the relevant information, so hit Start when you are ready to begin.

While playing these friendlies, try your best to successfully perform the maneuvers to earn rewards.

Once you are done, Chapter 7 of Season 3 will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.

You will also earn the reward for learning a new Quidditch move.

What will happen next? Will you and your teammates be able to nurture your hearts and achieve balance before the upcoming match? Find out in the next chapter of Quidditch for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
