Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for A Special Celebration of Hogwarts Teachers Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, you learned that there will be Teacher Appreciation Celebration at Hogwarts, and you were handpicked by the Headmaster to do a presentation on Professor McGonagall, who will receive special honors during the celebration. You got the chance to interview her and spend some time playing wizard chess, but you still didn’t learn much about her for your presentation. Because of that, you decided to talk to the other professors and see if you can learn more about Professor McGonagall that way. Penny also offered to help you with your presentation. Once you start this part, you can head to the Great Hall to meet with her.

Penny will ask if you are ready to interview the other professors.
You’ll look forward to learning more about Professor McGonagall.
Your Hufflepuff friend will say that your plan seems pretty solid.
Still, you will feel a lot of pressure on your shoulders. After all, you want to make sure that your presentation properly honors Professor McGonagall.
Penny will be confident in you. She’ll be curious to hear your opinion on the matter. There are two options to choose from. This choice won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to take your pick.
She will point out that talking to the other professors is definitely a good way to start learning more about Professor McGonagall.
You will be a bit unsure about which ones to interview.
Penny will suggest going over the options and picking the best ones.
This will sound like a good idea, so you’ll agree with her.
Brainstorming with Penny requires earning five stars within one hour. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why you shouldn’t start this task if your energy bar is empty.

Suddenly, Merula will approach and sit right next to you. She’ll say that her Professor is constantly talking.
He even asked her to come back should she need to learn more about him.
Penny will think it is very kind of Professor Quirrell to offer his assistance.
However, the Most Powerful Witch at Hogwarts will disagree with her.
You’ll tell her there has to be some interesting topic she can discuss with Professor Quirrell.
She will point out that he was a student not so long ago, and she’ll doubt there is anything interesting she can talk to him about.
This will give you an interesting idea.
Penny will ask you about it.
You’ll tell her you decided to interview Professor Quirrell first.
The Most Popular Witch at Hogwarts will like your idea.
You will have to wait three hours until Professor Quirrell is ready to see you. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait, and let your energy recharge in the meantime.
Proceed to the Muggle Studies once the waiting time is over.
This will very likely be your first time visiting the Muggle Studies. As soon as you arrive, you will see quite a few interesting objects lying around.
You will politely introduce yourself to Professor Quirrell and ask if you can have a moment of his time.
You will take another look and notice a lot of unusual items in the classroom.
You’ll be fascinated by seeing many of these objects for the first time.
The Professor will find it interesting that you noticed all of those. After all, Merula didn’t seem too amused during their interview.
You will assume she was simply too focused on her project.
Professor Quirrell won’t seem to agree with you on that.
He’ll be unsure what to think of Merula.
He’ll want to hear your opinion on her. There are three options to choose from. While this choice won’t have any big impact on the story, if you like Merula, it is somewhat recommended to pick the first or the third option.
The Professor will then ask if there’s something he can do for you.
You’ll quickly get to the point and say that you’ll be making a presentation on Professor McGonagall.
Professor Quirrell will say it’s a huge responsibility.
You’ll nod and say that’s the exact reason why you need his help. You will ask Quirrell if he would be kind enough to tell you more about Professor McGonagall. After all, he used to be one of her students.
Thankfully, he will agree to talk to you while looking for one particular object.
Interviewing Quirrell requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
The only 5-cost action here is tied to Professor Quirrell. Prioritize his actions if you want to save a bit of energy.
Professor Quirrell will sum the most important things about Professor McGonagall.
He’ll say he was astounded by her bravery and courage while he was a student.
Other than that, she also helped him with some personal problems.
He will admit he was bullied as a student, but thanks to Professor McGonagall’s help, he managed to become stronger, which is one of the reasons he decided to become a teacher.
You’ll ask him about his favorite quality about the Professor.
He’ll say some interesting things about Professor McGonagall.
You will thank Professor Quirrell for his help.
He will once again try to find the curious object he was looking for earlier.
You will smile and say you’re looking forward to learning more about the Muggles. Perhaps you may get the chance to take his class one day.
Professor Quirrell will point out he plans to take a sabbatical and search for more knowledge soon.
As it seems, he is quite fond of hats.
He’ll ask if he strikes you as a hat person. There are two options to reply with. These won’t have any meaningful impact on the story, so feel free to pick either one.
Before you leave, you’ll ask if he knows why Professor McGonagall likes wizard chess so much.
He’ll tell you that she is a fan of Quidditch, which is probably why she likes competitive games.
This will give you an interesting idea. Perhaps Madam Hooch could tell you more about Professor McGonagall.
Proceed to the Training Grounds when you are ready.
Upon greeting Madam Hooch, you will ask if you could talk to her for a moment.
She’ll assume you are looking to improve your flying skills. There are two options to reply with. Neither of these will have any big impact on the story, so feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.
You’ll tell her you are interested to learn more about Professor McGonagall.
Madam Hooch will ask if this has something to do with the Teacher Appreciation Celebration.
You’ll nod and say you want to make a proper presentation to honor her, which is why you’re doing the research.
Madam Hooch will say that both she and Professor McGonagall played Quidditch during their student days.
You’ll ask if she would be kind enough to tell you more.
Luckily, Madam Hooch will agree to share a tale with you.
As it seems, this one has something to do with an infamous Quidditch match between Slytherin and Gryffindor.
Needless to say, you’ll be interested to hear her tale.
Interviewing Madam Hooch requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s recommended not to start this task if you are low on energy.
The only 5-cost action here is linked to your character. Prioritize your own actions if you want to save a bit of energy.
You will learn that Professor McGonagall was very competitive while she was playing Quidditch during her student days.
This whole competitive side of Professor McGonagall is one of Madam Hooch’s favorite things about her.
She’ll also tell you that Professor McGonagall cannot stand cheaters.
Madam Hooch will sum up some of the things Professor McGonagall respects the most.
You will thank her for taking the time to talk with you.
Madam Hooch will wish you the best of luck… both with the presentation and your chess game.
You’ll decide to see Professor McGonagall and resume your chess game.
Head to the Great Hall when you are ready to meet with her.
Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say.
You will notice Professor McGonagall talking to one of the house-elves.
Apparently, there’s a problem in the Kitchens.
The Professor will turn her attention to the house-elf named Krafty.
He’ll ask her to come to the Kitchens immediately. As it seems, the dinner won’t be ready in time.
She’ll simply tell Krafty to talk to Pitts about it.
Apparently, it was Pitts who sent him for Professor McGonagall in the first place.
In the end, she will decide to go to the Kitchens and see what’s going on there.
Unfortunately, this means that your interview will have to wait until the problem in the Kitchens is solved.
You’ll ask if there is a chance you can go with her and talk along the way.
You will tell her you want to prepare as best as you can for the celebration.
And there is a chess game you’re eager to continue.
Professor McGonagall will be curious about your next move. There are three options to choose from. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, so you can freely pick any of the options. However, the Professor will react best if you select the first option.
Krafty will remind Professor McGonagall that Pitts is waiting for them.
She will smile at him and nod.
Before leaving the Great Hall, she will ask you to meet her in the Transfiguration Classroom soon to continue your interview.
Moments later, Penny will signal you to join her at the table.
She’ll say she noticed you talking to the Professor and she’ll ask if you have all the information you need for your presentation.
Sadly, McGonagall was too busy, so you didn’t have the chance to talk to her.
You will wonder if you’ll get a chance to continue your interview. After all, you definitely don’t want to make yourself look like a fool during the celebration.
Penny will reassure you that everything will be all right.
She’ll ask you to tell her about the things you’ve learned so far by talking to the other professors.
Talking to Penny requires earning five stars within an hour. Three stars are needed to pass.
There is a 5-cost action linked to your character. Prioritize it whenever it is available if you want to save a bit of energy.
Penny will be happy to find out you’ve learned some interesting things by interviewing other professors.
You’ll sum up the things that you’ve learned about her so far.
Still, you didn’t learn anything personal about the Professor.

She will advise you to talk to some of Professor McGonagall’s friends if you are looking to learn something personal about her.
According to Penny, Professor Sprout might be the right person to talk to next.
Proceed to the Training Grounds once you’re ready to continue.
Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of the students and see what they have to say.
You will happily greet Professor Sprout and ask if you can have a moment of her time to talk about Professor McGonagall.
You’ll tell her you are working on your presentation, and you want to make it as good as possible.
Professor Sprout will be glad that you’re the one to make a presentation on Professor McGonagall.
You’ll point out that the two of them have been friends for a very long time, which is the reason why you decided to ask for her help.
Professor Sprout will acknowledge the fact that both of them met at Hogwarts as students, and she will be more than happy to talk to you. However, she will ask for something in return.
She’ll simply be curious about your favorite magical plant. There are three options to choose from. There is no wrong choice here. You should simply select the plant you like most.
Moments later, you will get to talk to Professor Sprout about her friend.
Interviewing Professor Sprout requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, it is recommended not to start this task if your energy bar is empty.
There is a 5-cost action tied to Professor Sprout. Prioritize her actions if you want to save some energy.
As it seems, the two of them were really close friends ever since their school days.
Professor Sprout will point out some things she likes about Professor McGonagall.
After thinking for a bit, you will realize there is truth to her words.
Professor Sprout will notice a slight disappointment in the tone of your voice.
You’ll admit you were looking forward to spending some time with Professor McGonagall.
Unfortunately, she was hesitant to tell you more about herself.
The Professor will say that you’ll need to earn McGonagall’s respect if you want her to open up.
According to her, you simply need to give Professor McGonagall some time.
She’ll advise you to take everything you’ve learned so far and use it to improve your relationship with the Professor.
You will thank her for taking the time to help you.
Now is the time to see Professor McGonagall and continue your game of chess.
Head to the Transfiguration Classroom when you are ready.
As it seems, you will have to play some more of your game of chess before continuing the interview.
You’ll ask the Professor about the current state of the game.
Professor McGonagall will say she’s surprised by your previous move.
She will be curious to know why you sacrificed one of your pawns.
You will smile cheekily and say that sometimes you need to make sacrifices in order to get what you want.
She will be interested to know what you want. There are three options to choose from. This choice won’t have a huge impact on the story, so you can feel free to select the option you prefer. Keep in mind that the Professor will react best if you choose the first option.
Professor McGonagall will ask if you are planning to lose just so you could learn more about her.
You’ll admit that is the case.
Still, you will regret not remembering the advice Madam Hooch gave you.
Professor McGonagall will realize you’ve been talking to other people about her.
You’ll quickly offer an explanation.
Thankfully, Professor McGonagall will agree to let you explain yourself.
This requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass which is why it’s recommended not to start this task if you are out of energy.
There are 5-cost actions linked to Professor McGonagall and your character. Focus on these if you are looking to save as much energy as possible.
You will explain that you only talked to the Professor’s peers and friends in order to get to know her.
And you did manage to learn some interesting things about her.
Professor McGonagall will find some wisdom in your actions.
You’ll humbly say you are only trying not to disappoint her.
She’ll simply ask you to play honestly and wisely and do your best.
Professor McGonagall will also point out that you worry way too much. Especially when it comes to chasing the Cursed Vaults and thinking about Jacob.
And you also made some foolish mistakes during the game because you were worried about the interview.
After thinking for a moment, you’ll agree with everything she said.
The Professor will smile and share some of her wisdom with you.
She’ll also point out that you’ve cornered yourself in the game by making the wrong moves.
You’ll take a look at the board and realize you’re in a pretty tight situation.
Still, there should be a way to get out of it.
However, in order to earn Professor McGonagall’s respect, you’ll have to show her you respect the game.
You will nod and thank her for making things clear.
She will ask you to do your best and take some time to consider your next move.
