A Very Weasley Christmas Part 2
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for A Very Weasley Christmas Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Previously, Bill invited you to spend the Christmas holidays with his family at the Burrow. You were overjoyed and accepted his invitation, but before going, you needed to find a suitable present for his family. Thankfully, you got a few nice ideas from Hagrid and some of the professors. One of those includes creating a snowfall. Now, you should go to the Courtyard and figure out how to perform this spell.
[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 6 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on the year you’re in.]

When you arrive, you’ll notice Merula sitting near the fountain, accompanied by two adorable Puffskeins. She’ll be very surprised to see you here.

You’ll sate her curiosity by answering her question.

If you completed The Christmas Holidays adventure, the following dialogue will be slightly different.

As it appears, the only thing Merula wants is to be left alone during Christmas break. There are two options to respond to this, but none of these will influence the story in any significant way, so feel free to take your pick.

Merula will then mention the Snowflake-Making Spell. This dialogue will differ slightly depending on whether or not you completed The Christmas Holidays adventure.

You’ll suggest creating a stronger version of the spell. Perhaps that will produce the desired effect.

Merula will find this hard to believe.

However, you will be quite confident in your spellcasting abilities.

Merula will be quite eager to see you do that.

In any case, you will decide to do some research on spell amplifications first. To do that, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Since all of the stars are needed to pass, it is recommended not to start this task if you are low on energy.

Both Merula and your character have 5-cost actions tied to them, which should make completing this task a bit easier.

When you are done, you will feel confident enough to try and cast the Snowfall Spell.

Trace the wand movement to perform this spell.

The spell will work, but the effects it’ll produce will not be the ones you hoped for.

Needless to say, Merula will find this very amusing.

The saddest part is that you’ll be going to the Burrow empty-handed.

Soon enough, Bill will ask you to meet him in the Great Hall, so head there when you are ready.

Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of the students before continuing.

After greeting Bill, you will tell him that your plan for Christmas present didn’t work out.

Apparently, Bill won’t look too worried about that.

Before you could say more, Bill will interrupt you, saying there’s something important he needs to tell you about the trip.

Talking to him about it requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

Both Bill and your character have 5-cost actions tied to them. However, other actions linked to your character have significantly lower costs compared to the ones linked to Bill, which is why you should prioritize these to save some energy.

Apparently, there won’t be any trains leaving the Hogsmeade station because of a blizzard.

You’ll quickly realize that this is the result of the Snowfall spell you used earlier.

Then, you will explain everything to Bill.

After apologizing, you’ll ask Bill if he’s mad at you.

He’ll look at you confused, asking if you think he should be mad. There are two response options, but other than a few lines of dialogue, none of these will influence the story in any meaningful way, so feel free to choose either one.

After telling him that Merula helped you with the spell, Bill will suspect she might’ve had something to do with it.

Sadly, it appears there’s no other way of reaching the Burrow in time for Christmas.

Maybe there is a way to stop the blizzard? Perhaps Professor Flitwick could help?

Before you can proceed, there is a waiting period of four hours. In most cases, it is recommended simply to wait until this timer runs out and regenerate your energy in the meantime.

Once you’re able to continue, head to the Charms classroom to see if Flitwick could help you.

Apparently, you’re not the only one whose Christmas plans got ruined thanks to the blizzard.

You’ll ask him if there’s any spell that could clear the weather.

As it turns out, there is such a spell, but it only works on magic-induced weather.

The Professor will be awfully suspicious of you, and he’ll ask if there’s anything else you want to say. You can choose to tell the truth or lie about what happened. It is highly recommended to tell the truth, because lying will cause you to lose 10 House Points.

In any case, he’ll agree to teach you.

To learn Meteolojinx Recanto, you need to obtain five stars within an hour. Since all five stars are needed to pass, it is recommended not to start this task if your energy is low.

Both Flitwick and your character have 5-cost actions linked to them, which should make things a bit easier.

You will thank the Professor for being kind enough to teach you the spell.

Before you leave, Professor Flitwick will scold you for tampering with weather-modifying spells.

If you lied to him previously, he will punish you by taking ten House Points. Otherwise, he’ll let you go with just a warning.

Next, you should proceed to the Training Grounds to stop the blizzard.

Once you arrive, Bill will ask if you learned any spell that could stop the snow.

Confidently, you will give him a positive answer.

After talking for a bit, you will decide to see if the spell will work. Trace the wand movement to cast Meteolojinx Recanto.

Thankfully, the spell will work, and Bill will be overjoyed.

Now all that’s left is to hope that the train will be operational in time for Christmas Eve.

However, according to Bill, traveling by train might not be necessary after all.

That’s when you’ll notice Charlie arriving in a flying car.

Charlie will quickly explain why he came back to Hogwarts.

Still, you will be confused about seeing the car fly, and Bill will provide an explanation.

Charlie will be curious to know what you think about it. There are three options to reply with. None of these will affect the outcome of the story, but picking the third option will definitely result in some interesting lines of dialogue.

He will then explain how he managed to sneak away without his parents noticing him.

Next, you will get to talk to Charlie about his trip. This will require earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you’re out of energy.

Both Bill and Charlie have 5-cost actions tied to them, so prioritize these to save some energy.

When you finish the task, you will realize how much risk he took just to get to you.

Bill will scold his younger brother a bit for being so reckless, but in the end, he’ll be glad everything turned out well.

Still, you will be worried about visiting their family empty-handed.

Charlie will just smile and tell you not to worry about it.

Bill will also remind you that time is of the essence.

However, according to Charlie, there is still one thing you should do before leaving.
