A Very Weasley Christmas Part 3
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of our Walkthrough for A Very Weasley Christmas Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you tried amplifying the Snowflake-Making Spell in order to surprise the Weasleys, but unfortunately, it produced undesirable effects. It caused the blizzard, and because of it, no train could leave the Hogsmeade station. Luckily, you were able to reverse the effect thanks to the spell Professor Flitwick taught you. Also, Charlie arrived at Hogwarts in his father’s flying car, and you can use it to get back to the Burrow just in time for Christmas Eve. But before that, you should help Charlie get one last thing before you go. Sadly, there is a waiting period of four hours before you can continue. However, you will most likely be low on energy following the previous task, so it is recommended to wait until this timer runs out and let your energy replenish in the process.
[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 6 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on the year you’re in.]

Once the waiting time is over, proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard to meet with Charlie.

When you arrive, Charlie will tell you he needs to find a gnome to serve as a decoration for their Christmas tree.

Bill will explain it with a bit more detail. You have three options to respond with. None of these will influence the story in any meaningful way, so feel free to take your pick.

Charlie will say there should be a gnome nearby and you’ll start looking for it.

Finding the gnome requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task with an empty energy bar.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Charlie and the fountain. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

When you are done, you’ll manage to catch the gnome, and Charlie will thank you for it.

He’ll then proceed to pick up the gnome and carry it to the flying car.

Once again, you will apologize to Bill for nearly ruining his Christmas. Thankfully, he won’t hold it against you.

Moments later, Charlie will return and inform you that the flying car isn’t working for some reason.

When you are ready, head to the Training Grounds to see what’s going on with the car.

Hagrid will also arrive with you.

Charlie will briefly explain what happened.

This is where Hagrid comes in. Perhaps he might be able to help since he owns a flying motorbike.

Thankfully, he’s more than willing to help you.

Charlie will explain the problem again, this time with a bit more details.

Hagrid will think for a bit and then decide to inspect the car.

Doing that requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to your character and the car. Prioritize these in order to save some energy.

According to Hagrid, one of the parts is missing.

And apparently, somebody deliberately removed it while you were looking for the gnome.

Sadly, it is unlikely Hagrid can fix it without the missing part.

Moments later, Bill will notice Merula standing in the distance, looking at you.

You will find it very odd to see her standing there.

Bill will assume she’s the one who took the car part.

Charlie will be surprised to hear you’re the one responsible for the blizzard.

You’ll quickly explain things to him.

Bill will ask if you think Merula is suspicious. You have two options to respond with. If you like Merula, it is highly recommended to pick the first option, otherwise, you can feel free to pick either one. Bear in mind that this choice will be referenced later on.

You’ll ask the Weasley brothers to stay and help Hagrid while you seek Merula out.

When you are ready, proceed to the West Tower Corridor to find Merula.

Much to your surprise, instead of Merula, you will stumble upon Professor Dumbledore.

Apparently, he is quite aware you were the one responsible for the blizzard.

Luckily, he won’t punish you for what you did, and you’ll be thankful for it.

Professor Dumbledore will find it odd you still haven’t left for the Burrow.

You’ll explain that you’re looking for a missing car part.

This is when your previous choice will be referenced.

The Headmaster will find this highly reminiscent of a Christmas story about a young wizard he knew.

Listening to his story requires earning five stars within three hours. All of the stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s recommended not to start this task if your energy bar is low.

The only 5-cost action here is tied to the Headmaster, so prioritize his actions to save some energy.

When you finish the task, Professor Dumbledore will sum up the story.

Moments later, you will see Merula wandering around, looking miserable.

She’ll notice you gazing in her direction and she’ll instantly change her expression and run away.

You will apologize to Professor Dumbledore for breaking the conversation, and you’ll quickly go after Merula.

Proceed to the Artefact Room to confront her when you are ready.

The most powerful witch at Hogwarts will be surprised to see you chasing after her.

You will tell her about the missing car part.

Your previous choice will be referenced here while you explain the situation.

Merula’s reaction will be very different, based on your choice.

She’ll then decide to tell you what really happened.

Listening to her requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are out of energy.

Both of you have 5-cost actions, but your other actions use significantly less energy, meaning you can complete more 5-cost actions if you just focus on your own, which will, in turn, save you a bit more energy.

In the end, Merula will admit she took the car part.

However, she had nothing to do with the blizzard.

You will then apologize to her.

She’ll ask if you think she only took the car part to ruin your Christmas. There are two options to respond with. If you like Merula, it is recommended to pick the second option. Otherwise, you can go with either one.

She will then explain why she took the car part.

You’ll quickly put the dots together.

Her reaction will be priceless to look at.

You will also realize the meaning behind Dumbledore’s story.

She will admit she doesn’t want to spend Christmas alone.

And she was afraid you will humiliate her if she admitted she was wrong. There are two options to respond with. Once again, if you like Merula, it is recommended to pick the second option.

She will apologize for taking the car part.

You will accept her apology and tell her it’s not too late to set things right.

With a smile on your face, you will ask if she’d like to spend Christmas with the Weasleys.

Needless to say, this will catch her by surprise.

After saying a few more words, she’ll agree to your proposition.

However, she’ll be quite sure the Weasleys won’t be ok with the idea.

Still, there’s only one way to find out.

With that being said, the two of you will head back to the Training Grounds.

This will conclude Part 3 of A Very Weasley Christmas adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.

Will you be able to repair the flying car? And will the Weasleys be ok with having Merula around for Christmas? Find out in the final part of this amazing adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
Thank you for reading.
