An Enchanted Kiss Part 2
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for An Enchanted Kiss Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, you learned that a play will be performed at Hogwarts for the first time in years. More importantly, the two leads will get to declare true love to each other on stage, which instantly made you want to audition for the play. Many of your friends also got the same idea, including the person you fancy. You went to talk to Professor Flitwick about the play and learned it is incredibly romantic. After taking some time to prepare, you went to the Great Hall to audition for one of the leads. Professor Flitwick was impressed by your audition, and both you and your crush landed the lead roles. However, you will need to give your best to prove that you can display honest emotions on stage. Once you start this part, you will be met with a waiting period of two hours. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.
[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 7 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 5 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on the year you’re in. Also, the walkthrough will feature Merula as the protagonist’s crush. Any significant story differences with other crush options will be pointed out.]

Proceed to the Great Hall once the waiting time is over.

Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say.

You will thank Diego for helping you and your crush get the leading roles for the play.

He’ll say he’s more than happy to help, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

He will inform you that your co-star asked to speak to you before rehearsal.

You’ll approach the person you fancy and say you are looking forward to performing together on stage.

By the looks of it, your crush will be just as excited as you.

You will then learn that the person you fancy is slightly nervous about confessing true love in front of everyone at Hogwarts. The dialogue here will differ, depending on who your crush is.

You will get two options to reply with. While this choice won’t have an impact on the outcome of the story, it is somewhat recommended to encourage your crush by selecting the “You’ll be great” option.

Selecting that option will also result in some lovely lines of dialogue.

Shortly after, both of you will get back to rehearsal.

Professor Flitwick will welcome everyone to the first rehearsal of Equinox Enchanted.

He’ll say that he is thrilled to finally see his magnum opus come to life.

Still, the previous attempt to stage a play at Hogwarts ended up in a disaster.

To make matters worse, the wizarding theatrical world believes that speaking the name of the play aloud in rehearsal is ill fortune.

You will ask Diego if he knew about that.

He’ll say that it is a common superstition. However, there’s no saying if there’s any truth to it.

In any case, Professor Flitwick will advise you and your friends not to speak the words of ill fortune until the show night.

He’ll then ask everyone to review their scripts.

You will find it hard to believe that he’s taking the superstition so seriously.

Diego will stop you before you finish saying the “words of ill fortune”.

After all, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

You will figure out he believes in that superstition too.

Diego will neither confirm nor deny it.

You’ll decide to ask around and find out if anyone else believes the name of the other play is bad luck.

Discussing the superstition requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s recommended not to start this task if your energy is low.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are 5-cost actions linked to Professor Flitwick and your character. Focus on those if you want to save as much energy as possible.

You will learn there are quite a few different opinions when it comes to the words of ill fortune.

Diego will ask if you believe in superstition. There are two options to reply with. This choice will have some impact on certain dialogues later on, but it won’t change the outcome of the adventure, so feel free to choose the option you prefer.

Either way, Diego will advise you to avoid saying the words of ill fortune.

You’ll agree with him and say that you know how important the show is to Flitwick.

Also, you’ll admit that you have feelings for your co-star.

Diego will say that you’ll have another rehearsal to prepare for.

You’ll wonder if you’ll be rehearsing the true love declaration scene.

Your friend will chuckle and say that you’ll be rehearsing with another co-star.

He’ll tell you to meet Barnaby at Care of Magical Creatures. Apparently, your scene partner will be a Knarl.

Go to Care of Magical Creatures once you are ready.

Barnaby will happily introduce you to his favorite Knarl, Knarl.

You will find it odd that he named the creature Knarl.

Barnaby will explain it to you.

You’ll smile at Knarl and politely introduce yourself.

Your friend will say that Professor Flitwick asked him to teach Knarl some basic stage directions.

As it seems, there will be a scene in which the Spring Nymph dances with a magical creature.

You’ll be surprised at Flitwick’s decision to have a Knarl dance. After all, those creatures can be very difficult.

Barnaby will say the Professor insisted that the Spring Nymph could tame any magical creature, which is why he chose Knarl.

You’ll feel that Flitwick definitely set the bar too high.

Your friend will be unsure if he’ll be able to teach Knarl stage directions.

You’ll kindly offer to help him.

Teaching stage directions requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Barnaby and your character. Focus on those if you are looking to save some energy.

Unfortunately, you won’t have an easy time teaching Knarl stage directions.

However, you’ll manage to teach him how to stay on one spot, so you can dance around him if he stands still on stage.

Barnaby will like your solution.

You’ll tell him you are honored to share the spotlight with Knarl. If Barnaby is your co-star and you dated him during one of the previous romantic adventures, you will get some additional dialogue lines.

You’ll have a good feeling about the show.

Barnaby, on the other hand, will be worried someone might say the words of ill fortune and ruin it for everyone.

Your previous choice will take effect here.

Barnaby will also say he is worried something bad might happen to Knael. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t have any big impact on the story, so feel free to go with either option.

Moments later, Diego will show up and say he wants to have a word with you.

He’ll inform you that Flitwick made some changes to the script, and he wants to review them with you.

You’ll decide to meet with the Professor as soon as possible.

Head to the Dueling Club when you are ready. The following task doesn’t involve spending any energy, which is why it’s recommended to go there straight away.

Once you arrive, you will ask Flitwick about the changes he made to the play.

He will say that he wants to have a duel between the Winter Sprite and the Spring Nymph.

You will be confused by his decision.

The Professor will explain that he wants the couple to start off on the wrong foot.

And having them duel one another is definitely a way to achieve that.

Diego will like this change.

You will figure out that Flitwick wanted to see your dueling skills.

He’ll explain that he wants to make sure that a duel will be safe to perform on stage. That’s why he called you and Diego to practice some dueling.

You’ll happily agree to it.

The task window will display the recommended attribute levels as well as the cost of the duel. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.

The required attribute levels will be very similar to your own attributes, which will make this duel very challenging. On top of that, Diego isn’t easy to predict, so you’ll have to rely on some luck to win this duel. Still, there are some ways you can increase your odds of winning. One way to approach this duel is to go Aggressive in the first round and use Incendio. If you get a burning effect on your opponent, you can go Sneaky during the second round and use Flipendo. This should be enough to win the duel, as long as you don’t get stunned. However, you will need some luck to get the burning effect, so this strategy will not guarantee that you’ll win, but it should increase your odds.

Professor Flitwick will be impressed with your dueling skills.

Diego will also look forward to watching the duel on stage.

Still, there are a lot of things that could go wrong, so you will ask the Professor about the superstition surrounding the words of ill fortune.

According to Flitwick, as long as the ill fated words remain unspoken, nothing should go wrong. However, he will ask if you feel unsafe performing the duel. Here you can choose whether you want the duel to be part of the show or not. If you like Diego, it is somewhat recommended to pick the first option, otherwise, he will be disappointed. Also, this choice won’t have any impact on the story’s ending, so feel free to go with the option you prefer.

Professor Flitwick will smile and say he’s sure everyone will “break a leg” on show night.

You’ll be slightly confused to hear that.

He’ll explain the meaning behind the expression.

The Professor will then ask you to see Andre for your costume fitting.

You’ll be eager to see your friend’s costume designs.

Proceed to the Transfiguration Classroom when you are ready.

Upon arriving, you will notice Andre talking to Talbott about something.

You’ll greet both of them and ask what’s going on.

Andre will explain that Talbott misplaced his costume designs, while he was running around, gathering materials.

You will say that Talbott surely wouldn’t do it on purpose.

And by the looks of it, you were right about it.

You will be surprised that he’s helping with costumes.

Talbott will explain that Andre had too much work on his shoulders, so he offered to help.

Still, he will feel sad about misplacing the designs.

You’ll tell him that helping others is never a mistake.

Also, you will be quite sure Andre appreciates the extra hand.

Andre will nod and say you are right about that. He will apologize to Talbott for snapping at him.

You will suggest looking around to find the designs.

Andre will like the idea.

Finding costume designs requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass. Because of that, it is recommended not to start this task if your energy bar is empty.

There are 5-cost actions linked to your character and one of the mannequins. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

After searching for a while, you will find the costume designs.

Apparently, Talbott mixed them up with his homework without realizing it.

Once again, he will apologize for misplacing them.

Andre won’t hold it against him.

However, he will admit that he is slightly burned out with all the work.

You will ask him about it.

He will say that it certainly hasn’t been easy for him to create all the costumes for the play.

Still, he will be honored to help. If the two of you are starring in the show and if you dated Andre during any of the previous romantic adventures, you will get some extra lines of dialogue.

You’ll tell him it is an honor for you to wear an outfit created by Andre Egwu: Costume Designer.

Your friend will like the sound of that.

Talbott will figure out that being the lead in the show must be very stressful for you. If he is your co-star and if you dated him before, you will get some additional lines of dialogue.

He’ll ask if you are feeling nervous about performing in front of everyone. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t have any big impact on the story, so feel free to take your pick. If either Andre or Talbott is your co-star, you will get some extra lines of dialogue.

Andre will say that you don’t need to worry about getting stage fright.

You’ll ask him about it.

Talbott will explain to you what stage fright is.

Andre will also say a few words about it.

You will ask them if stage fright can really come out of nowhere.

Talbott will say that you should be fine… as long as you stay calm.

You will suddenly start feeling nervous.

Andre will say some nice words to encourage you.

Talbott will say that you can always brew a Calming Drought if you are worried about stage fright.

You will like his idea, so you’ll decide to ask Penny to help you brew a Calming Draught.

This will mark the end of Part 2 of An Enchanted Kiss Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward.

Will Penny agree to help you? And if she does, will the Calming Draught help you overcome stage fright? Find out in the next part of this adventure!
Thank you for reading.
