Audition for the Frog Choir Part 2

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for Audition for the Frog Choir Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you found out that the Frog Choir is recruiting two members.

At first, you were hesitant about it, but eventually, Tulip persuaded you to audition with her toad Dennis. However, before you can do so, you need to prepare. When you are ready, head to the Training Grounds to meet Tulip.

Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]

Once you arrive, Tulip will explain that before practicing singing, Dennis needs to get to know you better. Apparently, Dennis cannot sing well unless he fully trusts his partner.

To bond with him, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All of the stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if your energy is low.

There are bonus progress actions tied to your character and Tulip. Prioritize those actions if you want to save some energy.

When you are done, Tulip will ask you to try something else to bond with Dennis. You have three options to choose from. All will lead to the same outcome, but this is one of the rare opportunities to use your Animagus Ability if you are one.

After that, Tulip will suggest you do one more thing to get closer to Dennis. After giving it a bit of thought, you’ll decide to ask Hagrid for advice. Proceed to the courtyard when you are ready to meet him.

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of your classmates. Tap on them if you want to see what they have to say.

You will explain the situation to Hagrid and say that you need his help to win Dennis over. He will be curious why you need his help. You have three response options. While this choice won’t significantly affect the story, if you like Hagrid, it is recommended to go with the first option.

Consulting with Hagrid requires you to earn five stars within one hour. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Hagrid, so whenever it is up, do it to save some energy.

According to Hagrid, you should do something Dennis really enjoys in order to bond with him. Tulip will suggest playing a trick on someone. She’ll invite you to the Artefact Room to go over the details.

When you get there, she’ll explain that Dennis is going to like you more if he sees you causing some mischief.

And the target of the prank should be none other than Madam Pince.

Plotting mischief is the next task. You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete it. Passing, on the other hand, only requires one star.

There is a waiting period after this task, so it is recommended to complete it fully in order to trigger the waiting time as soon as possible. There are actions with bonus progress tied to Tulip and your character. Prioritize them to save energy.

Once you complete this, Tulip will tell you she plans to mess with the books in order to annoy the Librarian. You can react to this in three ways. While each choice will lead to the same outcome, if you like Tulip, it is recommended to go with the first option.

Before you can continue, there is a waiting period of five hours. At this point, if you have less than two days left on the adventure timer, you might want to consider spending some gems or time toffees to speed things up. Otherwise, you should wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the library once the waiting time is over. When you get there, you’ll be able to interact with some of the characters by tapping on the speech bubbles above them.

Before you can proceed with the mischief, Tulip will need to distract Madam Pince. You can advise her on how to do it. Each option is viable, so pick the one you find most interesting.

Preparing your trick is an hour-long task with a passing requirement of five stars. Because of that, you should avoid starting it with an empty energy bar.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Dennis and your character. Focus on those actions to save energy.

When you are done, you’ll witness a hilarious scene in which your character pranks Madam Pince.

Tulip will be overjoyed by the result of your mischief.

She’ll tell you that Dennis is ready to be your toad partner for the audition. However, you’ll still need to find someone to help you with your singing.

This will conclude Part 2 of Audition for the Frog Choir adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 5 Gems, 250 Experience points, and 1 Chocolate Frog.
