Become a Prefect Part 1

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for Become a Prefect Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.

This adventure will become available during Chapter Twelve of Year Four of your Hogwarts studies. You have three days to complete it and earn the achievement and the Prefect Badge.

Without further ado, let’s begin this awesome adventure and see if you have what it takes to become a Prefect.

Shortly after starting the adventure, the Head of your House will request your presence. Hit the GO button and proceed to your Common Room.

Once you arrive, you’ll be able to interact with some other students. Simply tap on the speech bubbles above them to do so.

After talking to your Head of House, you’ll learn that you are one of the top candidates for becoming a Prefect.

However, there are a lot of obstacles you must pass before you can prove worthy of earning this privilege.

First, you’ll have to prove yourself in the Transfiguration Class. Hit the GO button and proceed to the classroom.

As you arrive, you’ll be able to check out what some of the characters have to say. Just tap on their speech bubbles to do so.

Professor McGonagall will encourage the class to pay close attention, especially those who wish to become Prefects. Success will bring candidates closer to their goals, but if they fail, they’ll never be a Rrefect.

To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Only one star is needed to pass.

Do this class just like any other – tap on the glowing objects to complete actions and fill up the star meter. 

You’ll receive a mini-task each time you earn a star. Complete it successfully to earn some additional Knowledge points.

Once you are done, Professor McGonagall will ask you to demonstrate Reparifarge spell. Trace the wand movement on the screen to perform this.

The Professor will commend your performance and wish you the best of luck on your journey to becoming a Prefect. Tulip will then approach and ask why you want to become a Prefect. You have three response options. Feel free to choose the option you like the most since this choice won’t affect the outcome of the story.

Your next task involves studying with Tulip. When you are ready, hit the GO button and proceed to the Library.

Upon arriving, you’ll notice that some of the characters have speech bubbles above them. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say.

Studying with Tulip is a one-hour task that requires you to earn five stars. Since all five stars are needed to pass, you should avoid starting this task if your energy bar is empty.

Do this like any other story task and you’ll be done quickly and easily. It is worth noting there is a bonus progress action tied to your character. Prioritize it whenever it is available to save a bit of energy.

Once you are done, Tulip will ask what you would do if you caught her in a mischievous act. You have three response options. It is recommended to go with the second or the third option since each of those will award you ten attribute points.

Next, you have the Charms Class to attend. Proceed to the classroom when you are ready. As soon as you get there, you’ll be able to interact with some of the students by tapping on the speech bubbles above them.

Professor Flitwick will hold a short introductory speech before the lesson starts. He will encourage all future Prefects. He’ll mention that Prefects were one of his favorite and most gifted students. Professor will also remind you that Headmaster Dumbledore was once a Gryffindor Prefect.

To complete this class, you need to earn five stars within three hours. One star is needed to pass.

Do this like any of the classes you’ve had so far and you shouldn’t have any problems with it.

When you are done, you’ll be tasked with performing the Levitation Charm. Trace the wand movement on the screen to cast Wingardium Leviosa.

Afterward, you’ll learn from Charlie that he is planning on becoming a Prefect too. If your character is Gryffindor, there will be some additional lines of dialogue that are quite interesting.

Your next task is studying with Charlie. Hit the GO button and proceed to the Great Hall to meet him.

When you get there, you’ll notice there are speech bubbles above some characters. Tap on those if you want to see what they have to say to you.

Charlie will be curious to know which subject is your favorite. You have three options to respond with. Each of the answers will award you five attribute points, but the outcome is pretty much the same.

Studying with Charlie is a task that requires you to earn five stars within one hour. Since all five stars are needed to pass, having full energy prior to starting is highly recommended.

As long as you start this task with full energy, you should easily be able to complete it in one go.

Once you are done, you’ll witness some interesting lines of dialogue, especially if you are a Gryffindor.
