First Date Part 4

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for First Date Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you did some final preparations for your first date.

Now, you’re finally ready to take your crush on a date. So, what are you waiting for? Head to Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop!

[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 4 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 4 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]

Once you arrive, you’ll be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say.

Each of the date options will react differently once they see the interior of Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop.

You’ll then get to choose between the two options. You can either compliment your date’s outfit or ask if your date likes the way you look. While this choice won’t have an impact on the overall outcome of the adventure, it will affect certain dialogue later on. In any case, feel free to pick the option you find the most appropriate for the situation.

Shortly after, you’ll sit at one of the tables looking totally adorable together.

Moments later, Madam Puddifoot will arrive to take your order. Your character will look extremely nervous while ordering tea.

Madam Puddifoot will be well aware that this is your first date. Needless to say, this will come as a surprise to you.

Your date will comment on this.

You’ll be curious to know if this is also the first date for your crush. And apparently, it is.

You’ll then try to find an interesting topic you can talk about with your date. However, this might prove to be a bit more difficult than you initially thought.

If you and your date went to the Celestial Ball together, you’re in for some extra lines of dialogue.

Your date will comment on your order.

And you’ll realize that you’ve made an order for both of you without consulting with your date.

However, your date won’t mind it at all. In fact, you’ll get an adorable scene filled with cuteness.

However, your lovely-dovely moment will soon be interrupted by the arrival of Tonks and Charlie.

In any case, you’ll decide to pretend they’re not inside the tea shop. Your date will have no objections to your proposition.

Talking with your date requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you’re low on energy.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. Bonus progress actions are tied to your character, your date, and Tonks. Prioritize those actions to save some energy.

Once you’re done, your date will ask if you’d like to invite Tonks and Charlie to join you. The following scene will be a bit different, depending on this choice, but the outcome will still be the same, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

In any case, Tonks will get dangerously close to toppling some neatly-arranged teacups.

However, moments later, your first date will turn into a disaster. (By the way, the look on Tonks’ face as the teacups topple over is priceless.)

Needless to say, Madam Puddifoot will be quite shocked once she sees what happened.

Sadly, she’ll need to close the shop in order to clean up the mess.

And that will mark the end of your first date…

Tonks will seem genuinely sorry for what happened.

Your date, however, won’t be too happy with this turn of events.

In any case, you’ll decide to meet Hagrid and tell him what happened. He’ll be very surprised to see you so back so soon.

You’ll tell him that your first date didn’t go exactly as planned.

Hagrid will be even more surprised to see you seeking his advice. However, he might be just the right person to talk to at the moment.

Shortly after that, you’ll get to explain everything to Hagrid. To do so, you need to acquire five stars within three hours. All of the stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s not recommended to start this task if your energy is low.

There aren’t that many bonus progress actions available here. There is one tied to your character, so complete it whenever you can to save some energy.

Once you finish this task, you will be unsure what to do next. Hagrid will point out some things to you and advise you to seek your date.

He’ll give you one final word of advice before you leave.

It’s now or never! Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard as soon as you are ready. Once you arrive, you’ll spot your date sitting alone near the fountain.

After a few moments of awkward silence, you’ll start the conversation.

After another few moments of awkwardness, your date will be curious to know why you wanted to meet.

You’ll bluntly say that you want to talk about what happened during your date. Suddenly, your crush will tell you there’s a shooting star up in the sky.

Sadly, you won’t be able to see anything, which is why your date will suggest looking for another one.

However, despite your initial objections, your date will persuade you to do some stargazing together.

To do so, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Like before, all five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if your energy bar is empty.

Be sure to check the character lines after completing actions. Some of those are quite cute. Bonus progress actions are tied to both your character and your date.

Once you’re done, your crush will ask for your opinion on stargazing. This choice will affect some of the dialogue later on, so it is somewhat recommended (but not necessary) to say it’s romantic.

Shortly after, your date will admit that the stargazing was just stalling. You’ll be curious to know why.

Apparently, your date is afraid of being rejected.

This is where one of the earlier choices (the one where you could choose to compliment your date’s outfit) will take effect.

Eventually, you’ll tell your crush how you really feel.

And apparently, the feeling is mutual. It seems like your crush really cares about you too.

This will put a smile on your character’s face.

As it turns out, Hagrid was right. Your date was upset for the same reason you were. You’ll suggest giving your first date another chance, and your crush will like the idea.

This is where the previous choice will take effect. The following dialogue will be slightly different, depending on the option you picked.

What follows is a totally sweet and adorable scene, which is a fitting conclusion to this lovely adventure!

Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. 1200 Experience Points, 100 Empathy, 10 Gems, and 3 Chocolate Frogs.

You will earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

This will also unlock dating. From now on, you will be able to go on dates with some of your classmates. The first available dating location is Hagrid’s garden.

Similar to some of the mini-games, you can invite the person you fancy on a date.

You will be able to level up your relationship with the person you go on a date with.

Once you complete the date, you will earn some Romance Points with the person you went on a date with.

You will also earn some Romance Points for completing the First Date adventure.

If you’ve completed Let the Festivities Begin adventure, you will also earn some Romance Points.

What a way to end the adventure. But don’t worry, this is just the beginning. Hopefully, you’ve made a wish while that shooting star was up there in the sky. It might come true sooner than you think!
