Head Boys and Girls Part 1

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for Head Boys and Girls Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. It is available for students of Year 6 and should unlock for those that completed Chapter 26 of Year 6. During this adventure, you will get the chance to become Hogwarts’ next Head Boy/Girl. It will also give you the opportunity to remember some of the precious moments you shared with Rowan and receive a gift to remind you of your friendship with your dear friend. Shortly after starting the adventure, you will be summoned to the Headmaster’s office. Proceed there when you are ready.

As it appears, Professor Dumbledore wants to speak to you about your future at Hogwarts.

He will be curious to know what is most important to you. There are three options to choose from. These won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.

Professor Dumbledore will relate the option you chose with Head Boys and Girls.

This will remind you of Rowan’s goal to become Head Boy/Girl.

One of the very first choices you made in Chapter 1 of Year 1 will be mentioned here.

Professor Dumbledore will ask you about it.

Shortly after, the Headmaster will decide to tell you more about the responsibilities of a Head Boy/Girl.

This requires earning five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.

Since there is no waiting time before the next task, it is highly recommended to earn a single star and let the timer expire. This can save you nearly 30 energy, which can be extremely helpful since the adventure is time-limited.

When you are done, you will understand how difficult it is for the Headmaster to choose a Head Boy and Head Girl.

Once again, you’ll recall how much Rowan wanted to become a Head Boy/Girl.

Professor Dumbledore will ask if you’d like to become a Head Boy/Girl. There are two options to respond with. This choice will be referenced later on, but it won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to choose the option you prefer.

The Headmaster will say that you are one of the most promising candidates for the position.

You’ll decide to think about it some more.

Maybe you can find the answer in the stars?

Head to the Astronomy Tower when you are ready.

Upon arriving, you will get to interact with some of your friends and check out what they have to say.

You will tell Penny about your visit to Professor Dumbledore’s office.

This will instantly grab the attention of the Most Powerful Witch at Hogwarts.

Your Hufflepuff friend will kindly point out to Merula that she should focus on studying, not eavesdropping.

Merula however, will be quite persistent.

She’ll suddenly yell and ask everyone to gather up.

Sharing the news with your friends requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Liz, Barnaby, and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

As it seems, Merula is quite determined to become Head Girl.

She’ll also be curious to know why you mentioned Rowan all of a sudden.

Penny will find this quite inappropriate.

Merula will quickly explain her reasoning.

She’ll then turn your way and ask you a question. If you like Merula, you should pick the first option. Otherwise, feel free to pick either one since this choice won’t have any major impact on the story.

Penny will be saddened by remembering the tragic way Rowan died.

Merula will leave to get some sleep.

As for you, you’ll decide to find a quiet spot and think about everything.

Proceed to the Courtyard when you are ready.

You will sit at the fountain and start contemplating.

Suddenly, you will hear a familiar voice.

Out of a thin air, Rowan will appear right next to you and greet you happily.

For a while, you’ll sit there completely shocked before asking a question.

Rowan will point out that Hogwarts is full of ghosts. You have two options to reply with. Both of these will lead to a similar outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

You’ll then raise your wand and cast Lumos to have a better look at your friend.

Rowan will remind you that the Wand-Lighting Charm was the very first spell you learned.

As it seems, your dear friend never left your side.

You will then apologize for everything and say that you know why Rowan was there in the forest on that tragic night.

Your friend will calmly say that everyone makes choices, and following you into the forest that night was probably one of the biggest choices Rowan ever made.

You’ll then recall the time you went to the train station.

The choice you made during Year 6, Chapter 11 will take effect here. If Rowan went with you to the train station, you will happily recall those moments. If you went there alone, your character will be very sad about it.

Once again, your friend will remind you that everyone has to make difficult choices sometimes.

You’ll ask if Rowan needs your help to move on.

However, it seems that someone else might need help moving on.

Listening to Rowan requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are two different 5-cost actions tied to Rowan, so focus on these if you are looking to save some energy.

As it seems, your friend thinks that becoming Head Boy/Girl will help you move on.

The choice you made while talking to Professor Dumbledore will be referenced here.

Once again, you will be reminded of how valuable your friendship was to Rowan.

And you will also realize that some of your friend’s dreams will never be fulfilled.

Hearing this will deeply sadden you.

Rowan will point out that there are some important things that will always be special.

Unfortunately, you never expected you’ll be considered for Head Boy/Girl.

Thankfully, your friend will advise you on how to prove yourself worthy of becoming a Head Boy/Girl.

You’ll be confused by Rowan’s words.

Your friend will wish you good luck before disappearing.

You’ll then decide to return to the place where Rowan died. Unfortunately, there is a waiting period of three hours before you can proceed. Since you are likely low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Head to the Forest Grove once the waiting time is over.

You will thank Chara for being kind enough to help you.

She’ll be surprised to see you returning to the Forest Grove, especially since that’s the place Rowan died.

She will then ask if you feel okay being at this place. There are three options to choose from. These won’t heavily influence the story, so feel free to pick the option you want.

Chiara will then ask you the obvious question.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to give her a straight answer.

If you completed Lone Wolf adventure and befriended Chiara, she will reassure you that you can tell her anything. Otherwise, she will simply nod and say that she respects your secrets.

Searching for clues requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why you shouldn’t start this task if you are low on energy.

There are 5-cost actions linked to your character and nearby bush. Focus on these if you want to save some energy.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to find any clues.

Chiara will be interested to learn more about the message you got from Rowan.

You will try to provide an explanation.

You’ll be surprised at Chiara’s kindness and understanding.

Moments later, you will notice Talbott arriving.

Chiara will be very surprised by Talbott’s sneakiness.

Your Ravenclaw friend will be curious to know what’s going on.

Chiara will immediately step in to protect your secret.

Thankfully, Talbott is trustworthy, so you’ll decide to tell him about Rowan’s message.

This will spark Talbott’s curiosity.

Chiara will tell him more.

You’ll explain why you decided to come back to the place where Rowan died.

Perhaps that was not what Rowan was trying to tell you.

Still, there are so many places you could search…

You’ll decide to look at the place where you first met Rowan – Diagon Alley.
