Head Boys and Girls Part 2
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for Head Boys and Girls Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, you learned that Professor Dumbledore is soon to pick the new Head Boy/Girl. This brought back memories of Rowan, whose dream to become Head Boy/Girl was shattered on that tragic night in the Forbidden Forest.
You also learned that Dumbledore thinks you might be suitable for the role, but you’ve yet to prove yourself. Later on, while you were contemplating in the courtyard, Rowan’s ghost appeared to you and advised you to move on and honor him/her by becoming Head Boy/Girl. Your dear friend also told you to look back in order to move forward.
You went back to the place where Rowan was killed in the hope of finding some clues there, but you were unable to find anything. Talbott then advised you to look back on how Rowan lived, so you decided to visit the place where you first met Rowan – Diagon Alley.

Walkthrough
Proceed to Diagon Alley when you are ready. When you arrive there, you will thank Ben for meeting with you. Before you get the chance to say why you wanted to meet him, Ben will ask you an unusual question. There are two options to respond with. This choice won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick either option.
Apparently, Ben was the latest victim of the Weasley twins.
Needless to say, he won’t be happy about it.
He’ll then compose himself and ask why you wanted to meet with him.
After giving him an answer, he’ll ask if you are serious, and you’ll quickly explain yourself.
Ben will be curious to know more, and you’ll then tell him what Rowan said to you before disappearing.
Unfortunately, Ben will be just as confused about it as you were, and you will tell him what you’re planning to do.
Despite not liking your plan, Ben will agree to help you, and you’ll decide to visit Flourish and Blotts first. Proceed to Flourish and Blotts when you are ready. Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say.
When you arrive, You will tell Ben you’re aiming to become Head Boy/Girl. He’ll be curious to know who you are most doing it for. There are three options to reply with. This choice won’t impact the story in any meaningful way, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.
Shortly after, you’ll decide to collect the first-year books. You’ll wonder if one of the books could have a message from Rowan. Collecting schoolbooks requires earning five stars within an hour. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are reward actions linked to a pile of books and your character. Prioritize these if you want to save some energy.
Sadly, after collecting all of the first-year books, you will be unable to find any clues. Madam Villanelle will gaze at you with a confused look before asking a question.
You’ll explain why you were collecting the first-year textbooks.
She will offer to help you out, and you’ll nod and thank her for helping you. Perhaps the reading list could help you solve this mystery. Next, you’ll decide to visit Ollivanders and see if you can find any clues there. Unfortunately, Ben won’t be willing to go with you, and he’ll quickly explain his reasons.
You’ll remember the words Rowan said before disappearing.
Proceed to Ollivanders when you are ready. When you arrive, you will notice Diego and Tonks arguing about dueling wands.
Once she sees you enter the store, Tonks will ask you to settle their argument, and Mr. Ollivander will also voice his opinion.
You will nearly jump upon hearing that and he’ll calmly explain some things about rowan.
You will tell your friends why you arrived at the store and you’ll kindly ask Mr. Ollivander to tell you more.
Shortly after, you will ask Mr Ollivander to tell you more about rowan’s qualities. Learning about rowan’s qualities requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why you should avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.
There are reward actions linked to Diego and Mr. Ollivander. Focus on those if you want to save a bit of energy.
Once the store owner is done explaining, you will realize that Rowan was more than a fitting name for your late friend. By the looks of it, Mr. Ollivander was deeply disturbed when he learned about what happened to Rowan.
Tonks will ask you to tell her why you decided to visit Ollivanders, and you’ll quickly fill her in.
Tonks will be slightly confused about your plan, and you’ll ask if she has a better idea. Thankfully, she does, suggesting you remember some of the fun moments you shared with Rowan. Diego will agree with Tonks.
Tonks will eagerly offer to go there with you. So, what are you waiting for? Head to the Three Broomsticks to remember some fun times you had with Rowan. Upon arriving, you can interact with some of the characters and check out what they have to say. You’ll notice Jae and Andre sitting at one of the tables, so you’ll decide to join them.
After greeting each other, Tonks will explain why you came to Madam Rosmerta’s establishment.
You’ll add to that.
Still, in order to become a good Head Boy/Girl, you will have to meet certain expectations. Jae will offer to share some of his insights with you, and Andre will also be willing to help, so you’ll be happy to hear that. Talking to your friends about what expectations you’ll have to meet in order to become a good Head Boy/Girl requires earning five stars within one hour. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus actions linked to Tonks and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.
You will sum things up upon hearing their expectations, and Jae will add a rather interesting request.
Andre will simply laugh it off.
If your character is a Prefect, Tonks will be sure to mention it.
Unfortunately, you still won’t get the answers you’re looking for, and Andre will be curious to learn more about it. As you start explaining everything, you’ll share that you are visiting the places you used to go with Rowan during fun times, mentioning that Rowan was on his way to becoming your Head Boy. You’ll admit that you also tried to follow that path, but you are not sure that you are on the right path.
Jae will suggest you look elsewhere for answers.
You’ll mention your earlier conversation with Rowan.
This will spark everyone’s curiosity. You can choose whether to tell them about Rowan’s visit or not. While this choice won’t have any heavy impact on the story, it is somewhat recommended to open up to them.
Shortly after, you will decide to go to the Hogsmeade Train Station. Proceed there when you are ready. Immediately upon arriving, you’ll think of Rowan. This is when you’ll notice Aberforth Dumbledore standing nearby.
He’ll notice that you’re looking quite odd.
This is perhaps the first time you’ve seen Aberforth outside of his inn. He’ll point out that you don’t look too happy about it. You can choose how to reply to him. This choice won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick either option.
You’ll then tell Aberforth the reason why you came to the station.
Perhaps he could help you solve this mystery?
Sharing your story with Aberforth requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are out of energy.
If you are looking to save some energy, you should prioritize actions linked to Aberforth. They alternate between 1-cost, 4-cost, and 5-cost, meaning you could get 11 points worth of energy for every 10 energy points you spend.
Aberforth will sum things up once you’re done explaining.
Some of the following lines will differ depending on whether or not Rowan was with you at the train station during Year 6 Chapter 11.
Aberforth will simply say he’s waiting for a train.
As it seems, he’s not traveling anywhere.
You’ll find it odd that someone likes goats so much, and Aberforth will ask you to guess his Patronus. The correct answer is Goat. However, picking the other options may result in some rather funny lines of dialogue.
If you completed Unleash Your Patronus adventure, you’ll tell him you can also conjure a Patronus. Unfortunately, Aberforth won’t be interested to know about it.
You’ll then decide to leave the station.
Aberforth will point out that you haven’t asked him for help, and then you’ll ask if he can help you figure out Rowan’s words, to which he will give you an interesting piece of advice.
You’ll suddenly realize you haven’t told Professor Dumbledore how much you want to be Head Boy/Girl.
This will conclude Part 2 of Head Boys and Girls adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 2 Gems and 1 Chocolate Frog.
How will Professor Dumbledore react when you tell him you want to be Head Boy/Girl? Will he be willing to share his own experience with you? Find out in the next part of this adventure.
Thank you for reading.
