Part 1
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for Hosting the Beauxbatons Adventure for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. This adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above. During it, you’ll meet some guests from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and you’ll get the chance to learn more about their school. One of those guests is Penny’s pen-friend, and shortly after starting the adventure, Penny will ask you to come to the Great Hall to meet her.
[Disclaimer: Some players have reported that their stars requirements for certain tasks are lower than in the Walkthrough. Namely, this happens to players in Years 2-5, but even some Year 6 players reported that they had lower stars requirements for certain tasks. If this is the case for you, then you’re in luck. But even in the worst-case scenario (the one presented in the Walkthrough) you should be able to complete the entire adventure with some time to spare, as long as you don’t let too much energy go to waste.]

Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of your classmates before continuing.

Penny will happily introduce you to her pen-friend Aurélie Dumont.

The reason for her visit is quite interesting – she is considering transferring to Hogwarts. Needless to say, Penny is thrilled with excitement.

Shortly after, Penny will ask if you’d be kind enough to show Aurélie around.

As it turns out, your Hufflepuff friend needs to finish an important Potions project, which is why she’s asking for your help.

Sadly, you don’t know Aurélie all too well, which might make things slightly difficult.

Penny, however, is convinced you can easily get to know her friend better.

Chatting with Aurélie requires earning at least one out of five stars within three hours.

There is 5-cost action tied to your character, so prioritize it to save some energy.

Once you’re done chatting, you’ll agree to be Aurélie’s guide to Hogwarts.

Penny will be curious to know what about showing Aurélie around excites you most. There are three options to respond with. Each of those will lead to different dialogue, but it won’t have any influence on the overall story, so feel free to pick whichever option you prefer.

Apparently, Aurélie is looking forward to seeing the rest of Hogwarts.

The first place you’ll go to is the Potion Classroom, so proceed there when you are ready.

Once you arrive, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you want to see what they have to say to you.

As it turns out, Aurélie didn’t expect the Potions classroom to be so gloomy.

You’ll then introduce Aurélie to your classmates.

She also seems quite eager to meet the Potions Master.

What follows is a rather comical scene involving your character and Professor Snape.

You’ll then politely ask the Professor if he’ll allow Aurélie to observe the Potions class.

Snape will, however, want a good enough reason before he allows that. You have three response options. Each of those will lead to different dialogue, but eventually, regardless of your choice, Snape will allow Aurélie to observe the class.

Moments later, the class will start. Attending it requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why you should avoid starting it if you are low on energy.

There are 5-cost actions tied to both Aurélie and Professor Snape, so focus on those if you are looking to save some energy.

When you’re done, you’ll notice that Aurélie looks kind of disappointed.

Apparently, she was hoping that the class would feature some alchemy.

Not long after that, the Hogwarts tour will continue. Head to the Clocktower Courtyard when you are ready.

Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of your friends before continuing.

You’ll quickly start showing Aurélie around.

Sadly, it seems that she’s not too impressed by the Courtyard.

You’ll then get to talk about other classes and see if there’s anything else she might find interesting. To do that, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, it is recommended not to start this task if you are out of energy.

There are 5-cost actions tied to both Aurélie and your character, so prioritize them if you want to save some energy.

Shortly after you’re done, Aurélie will ask if it’s all right to look around the Courtyard for a while.

Not long after she leaves, Rowan will tell you that Aurélie is behaving quite odd. You have two options to respond with. Each of these options will influence some of the dialogue lines, but overall, these won’t impact the story in any significant way, so feel free to pick whichever option you want.

Moments later, Aurélie will return, ready to continue the tour.

Next, you should visit the Charms classroom, so head there when you are ready.

At first glance, Aurélie seems to like the Charms classroom.

However, shortly after that, she’ll ask if she can look around the classroom for a bit.

Rowan certainly won’t mind that.

Apparently, Rowan is still quite suspicious of her.

Eventually, you’ll decide to observe Aurélie as she tours the classroom. Doing so requires earning five stars within three hours. All of the stars are needed to pass.

There is 5-cost action tied to Aurélie. Doing it whenever it’s available can save you some energy.

When you are done, you’ll agree with Rowan that Aurélie is definitely hiding something.

But why did she come to Hogwarts if she isn’t interested in transferring? Rowan will be curious to hear your thoughts on that. There are three options to choose from, but none of these will have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick the one you prefer.

Moments later, Aurélie will inform you that Madame Maxime, the Headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic wants to meet you.

Apparently, she wants to teach you about life as a Beauxbatons student.

She’ll also warn you not to mention her size since she’s quite sensitive about that.

With that being said, Part 1 of Hosting the Beauxbatons will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward.

What interesting things is Madame Maxime planning to teach you? And will you discover what is Aurélie looking for? Find out in Part 2 of this magnificent adventure!
Thank you for reading.
