Let The Festivities Begin Adventure Part 2 – Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, it’s time for Part Two of Let The Festivities Begin Adventure Walkthrough for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you helped Penny become the head of the decorating committee and you assisted her with creating the decorations for the ball. You also found out that both Ben and Rowan don’t want to attend it, so you’ll need to convince them to change their minds. When you are ready, head to the Transfiguration Classroom to meet Ben.
Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some characters. Tap on those to interact with them and see what they have to say.
After talking to Ben for a while, you’ll get the task to convince him to attend the ball. To do so, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Since all of those are needed to pass, you might want to avoid starting it with an empty energy bar.
There should be a fair amount of 5 cost actions, so complete them any time they are available to save some energy.
After you’re done, Professor McGonagall will approach and ask about the topic of your discussion. You have two options to respond with. None of those will affect the outcome of the quest, so feel free to pick the one you prefer.
Shortly after, you’ll manage to convince Ben to change his opinion about the Celestial Ball.
Next, you’ll need to persuade Rowan. Proceed to the Library when you are ready.
Tap on the speech bubbles above some of the characters if you are interested to find out what they have to say.
You’ll find out that Rowan is quite upset about your “master plan”.
He’ll then ask what will happen if he refuses to follow your plan. You have two response options. Each will lead to a similar outcome, so feel free to pick the one you like.
Convincing Rowan requires you to earn at least one out of five possible stars within three hours.
If you want to save some energy, you can come here immediately after you complete the previous task and begin this one with an empty energy bar. Then, after one hour or so, you should have enough energy to earn one star, which is the minimum requirement. After that, simply wait for two more hours until the timer expires. This will save you 2-3 hours worth of energy, which can be quite significant during the time-limited events.
Shortly after you are done, you’ll manage to convince Rowan to attend the ball.
Your next task involves meeting Andre at the Training Grounds, so proceed there when ready.
Like before, you can interact with some of your friends before talking to Andre.
You’ll greet him by calling him your favorite Quidditch player. This will come as quite the surprise to him, so he’ll want to know if you really mean that. You have two options to respond with. None of those will affect the outcome, but if you like Andre, you might want to pick the first choice.
Not long after that, you’ll have to convince him to help you with Ben’s and Rowan’s makeover. To do so, you need to earn five stars within an hour. Because all the stars are needed to pass, it is highly recommended to avoid starting this with an empty energy bar.
You’ll need around 30 energy to complete this task, which should easily be doable with a single energy bar.
Once you are done, Andre will agree to help you.
For the next task, head to the Three Broomsticks to meet Rowan.
Upon arriving, you can check out what some of the characters have to say by tapping on their speech bubbles.
You’ll notice that Rowan is quite nervous when it comes to socializing.
Andre will come up with an idea to invite Bill so Rowan can practice some socializing. However, Bill will be quite surprised to see him nervous. You have three options to react with. Each of those will lead to a similar outcome, so pick the one you find the most appropriate for the situation.
This will lead to the next task, which requires obtaining five stars within three hours.
You’ll need around 55-60 energy to finish this task, which should equate to around one and a half energy bar.
Rowan will be quite happy after listening to Bill.
Next, you have to make Ben confident about going to the ball, which might be a bit more difficult.
Proceed to the Charms Classroom when you are ready.
Apparently, Ben is very afraid of dancing.
Thankfully, Professor Flitwick knows the spell that can help – Maximus Confidencia charm. Learning it will require earning five stars within an hour.
Do this just like any other story task, and you should be able to finish it with a single energy bar.
After completing the task, you’ll need to use Maximus Confidencia on Ben. Trace the wand movement on the screen to do so.
By the looks of it, the spell worked! Ben seems more confident than ever.
Once he leaves, Professor Flitwick will reveal that Maximus Confidencia, in fact, does not exist. Ben only needed a to believe in himself a bit more, and this was a little push in the right direction.
Next, you’ll get to see Ben and Rowan’s style makeover. Head to the Transfiguration classroom when you are ready.
Once you get there, Andre will remind you that you are yet to find an outfit for the ball. He’ll then ask how do you feel about that. You have two response options. None of those will significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.
Then, you’ll get to see Ben and Rowan’s ball outfits. This requires you earning five stars within three hours.
As usual, you’ll need around 55-60 energy to complete this task.
When you are done, both of your friends will thank Andre and you for helping them.
Shortly after, Andre will reveal that he’s been working on your Celestial Ball outfit. It’s not yet ready, but he’ll inform you as soon as it is.
Proceed to the Training Grounds for the next task.
When you arrive, you can tap on the speech bubbles above some of your classmates to interact with them.
Rowan will tell you that he and Ben have come up with a plan for you as well.
However, it will have to wait until the class is over. Completing the class is a task which requires you to earn five stars within three hours. All of the stars are needed to pass, so you should avoid starting it with an empty energy bar.
There is a 5 cost action tied to your character, so focus on doing it whenever it is available in order to save some energy.
After you’re done, Rowan will tell you that he and Ben are planning to help you find a date for the ball.
He’ll then ask what you think about this idea. You have three options to choose from. These won’t have any significant effect on the outcome, so feel free to pick the choice you like.
Shortly after, Part Two of the adventure will be complete. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.
The ball is slowly approaching, but you are yet to find a date and get a suitable outfit. Will you be able to do all of that in time? And who will you pick to go with you? Find out in the next part of this lovely adventure!
