Meet the Malfoys Part 2
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for Meet the Malfoys Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, you learned that the Hogwarts board of governors sent Lucius Malfoy to conduct an inspection. Later on, you had the chance to meet him and demonstrate your magical knowledge. After that, during one of the Potions classes, Professor Snape told Merula and you that the Headmaster wants to see you both in his office. Proceed there when you are ready.
[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 6 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on the year you’re in.]

Once you arrive, you will notice that no one is in the Headmaster’s office except for you and Merula. You will be curious about why Professor Dumbledore wants to see you.

Merula will bluntly answer your question.

Still, other than Lucius, you don’t know any other Malfoy.

Merula will be shocked to find out you don’t know much about the Malfoys.

You will kindly ask her to tell you more about them.

Still, she won’t be easily convinced. You have two options to try and persuade her into telling you more. Both of these options will end up with the same outcome, so feel free to pick either one.

Eventually, Merula will agree to tell you about the Malfoy family.

This requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s not recommended to start this task with an empty energy bar.

There are 5-cost actions linked to both Merula and your character which will make this task a bit easier to complete.

When you are done, Merula will sum things up.

She will also mention that Lucius Malfoy was an ally of Lord Voldemort.

This will definitely surprise you.

She will explain how Lucius avoided Azkaban imprisonment.

Moments later, you will hear the footsteps.

The Headmaster will arrive, accompanied by Lucius Malfoy and a miserable-looking house-elf.

Professor Dumbledore will be pleased to see both of you.

Apparently, you need to help Mr. Malfoy with something.

He will then introduce you to his son, Draco.

By the looks of it, you will be looking after Draco while Lucius is conducting his inspection.

Both of you will be surprised by this.

Still, Merula and you are two of the most promising Hogwarts students, which is the reason why Lucius wants you to look after his son.

Professor Dumbledore will suggest taking Draco to the courtyard.

There is a waiting period of four hours before you can proceed. Since you are likely low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait until the timer runs out and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Once the waiting time is over, head to the Courtyard to look after Draco Malfoy.

When you arrive, you will notice that Merula and Draco are not really getting along.

Needless to say, Merula isn’t really happy with this ‘assignment’.

As for Draco, he isn’t really fond of her either.

You will quickly try to fix things up.

However, neither of them is willing to ‘get their hands dirty’.

You will once again remind them that they are responsible for messing up the courtyard.

Draco will be quick to blame Merula for it.

The most powerful witch at Hogwarts will offer to tell her version of the story.

This requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to all three of you. This will make the task a bit easier to complete.

You’ll sum things up once they are done explaining.

Apparently, young Malfoy is not too fond of Muggles.

As for Draco’s paints, Merula accidentally dropped them when he pushed her.

She will then ask you to back her up. There are three options to respond with. None of these will influence the outcome of the adventure, so feel free to take your pick.

Regardless of your choice, Merula will decide she’s had enough of Draco’s misbehavior.

You will quickly stop her from doing something she might regret later.

You will suggest asking Professor McGonagall for advice.

Merula won’t really like that idea.

You will quickly use her logic against her. After all, she’s the most powerful witch at Hogwarts, and she’s more than capable of looking after a child.

When you are ready, proceed to the Transfiguration classroom to ask Professor McGonagall for help.

Once you arrive, you will approach the Professor to ask her a question.

Unfortunately, the class is about to begin, so your question will have to wait.

Reviewing Felifors requires earning five stars within an hour. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

There is a 5-cost action linked to your character. Focus on it in order to save a bit of energy.

Once the class is dismissed, Professor McGonagall will allow you to ask her a question.

You will quickly start explaining.

The Professor will be surprised to hear that both you and Merula are having trouble handling one child.

If only it was that simple…

Once again, you will ask her for help.

Thankfully, she will offer to share some of her wisdom with you.

You will thank her before leaving the classroom.

Proceed to the Courtyard when you are ready.

Merula will be relieved to see you returning.

Apparently, you won’t have to babysit Draco much longer.

Perhaps you should use that time to at least introduce yourself to him.

However, Draco will find that idea ridiculous.

You’ll try to convince him to talk to you for a while. Thankfully, this won’t be too difficult.

Talking to Draco requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions tied to Draco, your character, and the fountain. Prioritize these if you are looking to save some energy.

It seems that Draco doesn’t think highly of Hogwarts.

Merula will quickly remind him that she’s the most powerful witch at Hogwarts.

Still, Draco won’t be impressed.

You’ll be shocked to hear him saying the word Mudblood.

Merula will ask if you will tolerate such a language. There are two options to choose from. These won’t affect the story in any meaningful way, so feel free to pick either one.

By the looks of it, Draco is very interested in learning curses.

Merula will tell him she knows a lot of different curses.

Still, young Malfoy will want to see her in action.

She will instantly draw her wand and use the Jelly-Legs Curse on you.

Draco will be impressed by her display of magic.

He will even ask her to let him try casting the curse.

Unfortunately, he’s too young to have a wand, and Merula won’t feel comfortable giving him her own wand.

He’ll instantly turn to you and ask you to teach him.

You will kindly explain that he’ll have to wait until he’s one of the students.

Moments later, Lucius will arrive to inform you that he’ll soon be leaving.

He’ll ask you to meet him in the Headmaster’s office before he leaves.

This will mark the end of Part 2 of Meet the Malfoys adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward.

Are your babysitting troubles soon to be over? Or are they just starting? Find out in the next part of this exciting adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
