Valentine’s Day at Hogwarts Part 4

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for Valentine’s Day at Hogwarts Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you decorated Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop with the help of your friends. You also made an important decision and asked one of your friends to be your Valentine’s Day date. Luckily, you got a positive answer, and later on, you went to prepare for the party. Thankfully, Andre was kind enough to help you with your outfit, so all that’s left now is to meet your valentine at the party. However, there is a waiting period of three hours before the party starts. Now is the perfect time to look at the remaining time on the adventure. If it is anything less than five hours, you might want to use some gems to speed things up. Otherwise, you should be able to complete the adventure in time.
[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 6 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 5 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on the year you’re in. Also, the walkthrough will feature the gameplay of Merula being Valentine’s Day date for the main character. While some dialogues are different from the other characters, the story will play out the same for the most part.]

Proceed to Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop once the waiting time is over.

You and your date will wish each other Happy Valentine’s Day when you arrive.

Your valentine will be glad you can share a few moments away from Gilderoy Lockhart.

As it turns out, Sir Cadogan was telling the truth.

The two of you will give compliments to each other.

Still, you’ll be uncertain how to tell others you already have a date.

Your valentine will suggest keeping it a secret.

You will have two options to respond with. While this won’t influence the story much, it is somewhat recommended to pick the second option.

Hopefully, this way no one will end up heartbroken.

Your valentine will toss another compliment your way.

You’ll then ask a cheeky question.

However, since you’re on a secret date, you’ll have to wait a while before getting an answer.

Not long after, Gilderoy Lockhart will approach you.

You’ll ask him if he’s satisfied with the way you organized the party.

Surprisingly, he’s very happy with the way everything turned out.

Your date will comment on that.

It looks like Lockhart is interested in learning more about both of you.

You’ll then ask him an obvious question.

And he’ll give you an answer to it… probably not the one you expected.

Your valentine will point out you’re on a secret date.

This, however, won’t stop Lockhart from asking questions.

You’ll then get to listen to him for a while. Doing so requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all of the stars are needed to pass, avoid starting this task if you are out of energy.

Once again, all of the actions are tied to Lockhart.

When he’s done talking, you’ll finally get the chance to say something.

He’ll provide an explanation.

As it appears, Lockhart did have a special reason for organizing this party.

This will slightly confuse you.

Your date will ask him another question.

You’ll finally start putting the pieces of this puzzle together.

And like you suspected earlier, his random selection wasn’t so ‘random’ at all.

Your valentine will be determined to inform the Headmaster about this.

One of your friends will notice you arguing with Lockhart.

You’ll start explaining everything to your friend.

However, before you get the chance to say much, Lockhart will take out his wand and cast Obliviate.

This will immediately affect all of you.

Even Lockhart will be surprised by the effect of his spell.

Moments later, Madam Puddifoot will enter the room.

As it appears, Lockhart’s Memory Charm had some unforeseen effects.

He’ll quickly bid everyone farewell and disapparate away.

Penny will assume you’re under the effect of a Memory Charm.

Sadly, Lockhart is long gone.

By the looks of it, you’ll only be able to remember some bits of what happened.

It seems that Lockhart’s Memory Charm wasn’t properly cast.

None of your friends will be able to remember if they arrived with a date.

None… except for you and your valentine.

Madam Puddifoot will suggest you go back to Hogwarts and rest for a while.

Not long after that, you’ll receive an owl from Professor Sprout, telling you to go to the Greenhouse. Since the next task doesn’t involve spending any energy, you should proceed there immediately.

When you arrive, you’ll be in for a pleasant surprise.

Your valentine will assume you forgot about your date.

You’ll quickly say that’s not the case.

Luckily, neither of you forgot about your secret date.

You’ll be curious to know why your valentine didn’t say anything back at the party.

You’ll then be asked the same question. There are two options to choose from. None of these will have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick the one you prefer.

It looks like your valentine is done with the whole secrecy thing.

Apparently, your date wanted this Valentine’s Day to be truly special.

Still, you’ll be curious to know how your date managed to transform the greenhouse so quickly.

Needless to say, your character will be overjoyed by this turn of events.

It looks like your valentine’s got a gift for you.

You’ll be presented with a lovely gift of adoration.

You’ll thank your date from the bottom of your heart.

Unfortunately, you don’t have any gift for your valentine.

Just as you finish saying that, a lovebird will leave its nest and land on your table.

This will give you an interesting idea.

Trace the wand movement to transfigure this lovebird into a love note.

The spell will work, and the love note will express the feelings of your heart.

Your date will recall the Valentine Howlers from Transfiguration class.

You’ll ask your date again to be your valentine.

You will then receive the best present you could’ve asked for. Words are not needed for this one.

You’ll get to hold hands and enjoy each other’s company for a while longer.

This will conclude Part 4 of Valentine’s Day at Hogwarts adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward.

The gift you received from your valentine will now be placed inside your dormitory, and you will be able to tap on it every once in awhile to receive some additional energy.
