Valentine’s Day at Hogwarts Part 4

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for Valentine’s Day at Hogwarts Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.

Last time, you decorated Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop with the help of your friends. You also made an important decision and asked one of your friends to be your Valentine’s Day date. Luckily, you got a positive answer, and later on, you went to prepare for the party.

Thankfully, Andre was kind enough to help you with your outfit, so all that’s left now is to meet your valentine at the party.

While some dialogues are different from the other characters, the story will play out the same for the most part.]

There is a waiting period of three hours before the party starts.

Now is the perfect time to look at the remaining time on the adventure. If it is anything less than five hours, you might want to use some gems or time toffees to speed things up. Otherwise, you should be able to complete the adventure in time.

Proceed to Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop once the waiting time is over. You and your date will wish each other Happy Valentine’s Day when you arrive.

Your valentine will be glad you can share a few moments away from Gilderoy Lockhart.

As it turns out, Sir Cadogan was telling the truth. You and your friends are the only party guests. You’ll learn that Lockhart was asking everyone questions about themselves, taking notes in the process.

You and your date will give compliments to each other.

Still, you’ll be uncertain how to tell others you already have a date. After all, you never had the opportunity to turn them down.

Your valentine will suggest keeping it a secret. You will have two options to respond with. While this choice won’t impact the story much, it is somewhat recommended to pick the second option.

Hopefully, that way no one will end up heartbroken. Your valentine will toss another compliment your way.

You’ll then ask a cheeky question.

However, since you’re on a secret date, you’ll have to wait a while before getting an answer.

Not long after, Gilderoy Lockhart will approach you. He’ll welcome you to Voyages, Vampires, and Valentines.

You’ll ask him if he’s satisfied with the way you organized the party. Surprisingly, he’ll be quite happy with the way everything turned out.

He’ll also say that Andre did a great job with the outfits.

Your date will comment on that.

It looks like Lockhart is interested in learning more about both of you. He’ll ask you and your date to tell him more about yourselves.

He’ll be particularly interested in your curse-breaking adventures.

You’ll ask him an obvious question.

And he’ll give you an answer to it… probably not the one you expected.

Your valentine will point out you’re on a secret date. This, however, won’t stop Lockhart from asking questions.

You’ll then get to listen to him for a while.

Here are the requirements for this task:

Year 4 = 3h – 1/5 stars;

Year 5 and above = 3h – 5/5 stars.

Once again, all of the actions are tied to Lockhart.

When he’s done talking, you’ll finally get the chance to say something.

He’ll provide an explanation.

As it appears, Lockhart did have a special reason for organizing this party. He wanted to gather stories for his next book, Voyages with Vipers.

This will slightly confuse you.

Your date will find it odd that vampires would agree to travel by night with someone as fancy as Lockhart.

He’ll smile at your date and answer the question.

You’ll finally start putting the pieces of this puzzle together. You will realize that Lockhart asked you and your friends to attend his party in order to gather stories for his next book.

And just like you suspected earlier, his random selection wasn’t so ‘random’ at all.

Your valentine will be determined to inform the Headmaster about it.

One of your friends will notice you arguing with Lockhart. You’ll quickly start explaining everything to your friend.

However, before you get the chance to say anything, Lockhart will take out his wand and cast Obliviate.

This will immediately affect you and your friends. Everyone will suddenly have trouble remembering what happened.

Even Lockhart will be surprised by the effects of his spell.

Moments later, Madam Puddifoot will enter the room. As it appears, Lockhart’s Memory Charm had some unforeseen effects.

He’ll quickly bid everyone farewell and disapparate away.

Penny will wonder if Lockhart used a Memory Charm. Sadly, she won’t be able to get the answer to her question.

You’ll figure out there was something he didn’t want you to know. Unfortunately, you’ll only be able to remember some bits of what happened.

It seems that Lockhart’s Memory Charm wasn’t cast properly. None of your friends will be able to remember if they arrived with a date.

None… except for you and your valentine.

Madam Puddifoot will suggest you go back to Hogwarts and rest for a while.

Not long after that, you’ll receive an owl from Professor Sprout, telling you to go to the Greenhouse. Since the next task doesn’t involve spending any energy, you should proceed there immediately.

When you arrive, you’ll be in for a pleasant surprise.

Your valentine will notice that you are surprised and assume you forgot about your date.

You’ll quickly say that’s not the case. Luckily, neither of you forgot about your secret date.

You’ll be curious to know why your valentine didn’t say anything back at the party. Apparently, your date wasn’t sure if remembered. On top of that, the two of you were supposed to be on a secret date.

You’ll then be asked the same question. There are two options to choose from. This choice won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

It looks like your valentine is done with the whole secrecy thing.

You’ll be surprised to see how much your valentine cares about you. Apparently, your date wanted this Valentine’s Day to be truly special.

Still, you’ll be curious to know how your date managed to transform the greenhouse so quickly. You’ll learn that everything was planned in advance, even before you said yes.

You’ll also learn that Professor Sprout thinks that you and your valentine are using the greenhouse to practice the Herbivicus spell.

Needless to say, you will be overjoyed by this turn of events. And to make everything even better, your valentine will say there is a gift for you.

You’ll be presented with a lovely gift of adoration.

You’ll thank your date from the bottom of your heart.

Unfortunately, you won’t have a gift for your valentine. Just as you finish saying that, a lovebird will leave its nest and land on your table.

This will give you an interesting idea. You’ll take out your wand and prepare to cast the spell. Trace the wand movement to transfigure the lovebird into a love note.

The spell will work, and the love note will express the feelings of your heart.

Your date will recall the Valentine Howlers from Transfiguration class. You’ll ask your date again to be your valentine.

You will then receive the best present you could’ve asked for. Words are not needed for this one.

You’ll get to hold hands and enjoy each other’s company for a while longer.

This will conclude Part 4 of Valentine’s Day at Hogwarts adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 5 Gems, 150 Experience Points, 250 Empathy Points, and 3 Chocolate Frogs.

Other than that, you will earn some Romance Points with your date.

You’ll also earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

The outfit you selected will be permanently unlocked for you.

Also, you can place the gift you received from your valentine inside your dormitory. You will be able to tap on it every once in a while to receive some additional energy.

What a sweet ending to this adorable adventure. Without a doubt, one of the cutest adventures we’ve seen in a while. Hopefully, we’ll get more adventures like this in the future. Thank you for reading and see you soon in the Wizarding World!
