Valentine’s Day Ball Part 4

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for Valentine’s Day Ball Adventure for Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, you helped Madam Pince with organizing Valentine’s Day Ball. You asked Chiara to help you with the music, and thankfully, she was kind enough to help. Jae helped you with the refreshments, and Badeea painted a wonderful mural for the event. Barnaby assisted you with asking some fairies to illuminate the Great Hall during the event. You also asked your crush on a date, and Andre provided an outfit for you to wear at the ball. When you start this part, you will be met with a waiting period of three hours. Since your energy is likely low at this point, it is recommended to wait and let it recharge in the meantime.
[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 7 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 5 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on the year you’re in. Also, this walkthrough will contain images of Merula being the protagonist’s date. The dialogues for other characters are somewhat different, but the tasks and the outcome of the adventure are the same, regardless of the person you took on a date.]

Proceed to the Great Hall once the waiting time is over.

Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some characters and see what they have to say to you.

You will notice that the Great Hall looks incredible. It will completely fit the storybook romance and woodland fairytale themes.

Your date will see you arriving and give you a huge smile.

After greeting you happily, your crush will compliment your looks.

You can choose whether you want to make a joke or thank your date. This choice won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to choose the option you prefer.

Your sweetheart will tell you that you look absolutely fantastic.

You will praise Andre for making the outfit so magical.

Your date will be impressed that you managed to prepare everything in time.

You’ll humbly admit you had help from your friends.

You’ll also thank your crush for helping you.

Your sweetheart will start to blush upon hearing your kind words.

Madam Pince will approach you and express her gratitude for helping her with the preparations.

The entire event definitely surpassed all of her expectations.

The following lines of dialogue will differ, based on the person you invited on a date.

You will be sure to say that your crush helped you a lot with the preparations.

Madam Pince and Mr. Filch will tell you that you and your date will have the honor of getting the first dance.

You will thank them for that and say that you’re glad Madam Pince was in charge of organizing the ball.

In the end, the whole event turned out the way everyone wanted.

Shortly after, your date will ask you to dance.

Both of you will get on a dance floor and the fairies will gather around you to make everything even more magical.

Your sweetheart will be overjoyed.

Shortly after, the two of you will start dancing.

Enjoying the ball requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

The only 5-cost action here is tied to your character, so focus on your own actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

Once you’re done dancing, you will say that you are extremely happy with the way everything turned out.

Your date will notice that the enchanted instruments are playing ‘Do the Hippogriff’.

You will suggest dancing some more.

Your crush will decide to grab some drinks if you are to keep dancing.

You suggest going together, but your sweetheart will ask you to stay where you are.

Shortly after, your date will run out of the Great Hall, and you will be left there, confused.

Suddenly, Professor Dumbledore will approach to congratulate you for doing a great job.

You’ll thank him for his kind words.

The Headmaster will praise you for going out of your way to make the event enjoyable for everyone.

You will admit that your friends also helped a lot.

Professor Dumbledore will say he wasn’t referring to that.

You’ll be slightly confused by his words.

He’ll say he is glad that you learned how to listen with your heart.

He’ll point towards Madam Pince and Mr. Filch, and you’ll notice the fairies making a heart shape above them.

Professor Dumbledore will say that you managed to make a Squib feel magical, and someone who felt lonely realize she’s not.

You’ll humbly say you’re glad that everyone got to enjoy the ball.

You will then notice that your date is not back yet, and you’ll wonder about it.

Professor Dumbledore will smile and admit that he’s been stalling you.

He will advise you to check the Library, and say there’s a special surprise waiting for you there.

You will thank him for informing you.

The next task doesn’t involve spending any energy, so you can head to the Library as soon as possible.

When you arrive, you will notice that the Library looks very different and much more romantic. Your sweetheart will greet you happily and wish you Happy Valentine’s Day.

You will be curious to know how your crush managed to do all of that.

As it seems, your date had some help preparing everything for your arrival.

You will then notice a fairy happily buzzing at you.

You will ask if she was the one to help with this magical surprise.

The fairy will cheerfully buzz in response.

You will be happy knowing that the fairies understood what Valentine’s Day is about.

Your date will say that you’re the one to thank for that.

Your sweetheart will smile and say that you also deserve to have your own storybook romance.

You will then notice plenty of books arranged in an incredibly sweet and romantic way.

Your crush will be curious to know if you like it. There are two options to reply with. Both of those will lead to a similar outcome, so feel free to pick the one you prefer.

Shortly after, your date will say that you managed to make this Valentine’s Day Ball perfect for everyone.

You will admit that all you wanted was a magical Valentine’s Day with your date.

As it seems, your crush will have another surprise for you – your very own storybook.

You will try to guess the contents of the book.

Apparently, your guess will be correct.

Needless to say, you’d be more than happy to read that story again and again.

Your sweetheart will tell you that the key unlocks the book whenever you feel like reading it.

Also, you will be able to wear the key as a necklace, to remind you of the story.

You will be more than happy to receive this gift.

You’ll also learn that you make your crush happy whenever you’re around.

You will be glad to hear that, and both of you will wish each other Happy Valentine’s Day.

What follows is an incredibly romantic scene in which the two of you kiss each other’s cheek and gently share a hug.
