Chapter 10

Hello everyone, it is time for Chapter Ten of Year Three of our Magical Journey Walkthrough for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous chapter, you made some final preparations before heading on a curse-breaking adventure. You were able to choose one friend to help you with distracting Madam Pince so that you could get inside the restricted section and look for the vault. However, before you were able to enter, Merula showed up and you were forced to duel her once again. After defeating her, with a help of your friends, you managed to find the entrance to the cursed vault within the restricted section of the library. As soon as you entered, you were attacked by three Voldemort Boggarts. Thanks to your quick thinking you managed to fend them off your friends. However, you had to fight one of them in a duel. It was the most difficult opponent you had so far, but thanks to your magical skills and abilities, you emerged victoriously.

Afterward, you used Jacob’s broken wand on a column inside the vault. It opened, revealing the arrow and a map of the Forbidden Forest. With your fears conquered and the curse broken, Hogwarts is once again safe, thanks to you. Your next story task is meeting your friends at the Three Broomsticks for a celebration, but since there is a waiting period of three hours, you might as well focus on the lessons part of the chapter first. Hit the GO button and proceed to the Training Grounds.

In order to unlock the Diving Lesson, you need to earn a total of nine stars from the Flying Classes. There are many different ways to do it. One of the quickest ways involves doing three of the three-hour classes. However, if you have time to spare, you might want to consider doing two of the eight-hours classes and gain some additional rewards that way. In the end, select the class combination that suits you best and hit the Start button to begin.

Do these classes in the usual way. Tap on the various glowing objects in order to complete actions and fill up the star meter. This will eventually give you stars.

Also, pay attention to the mini-tasks since completing each of those successfully will award you with ten Courage points.

When you are done, hit the Collect button to continue.

Now that the Diving lesson is unlocked you can proceed back to the Training Grounds. Completing this one requires you to earn five stars within eight hours. Since all the stars are needed in order to pass, you might want to consider having full energy prior to starting it.

Approach this lesson in a similar manner to the classes you had beforehand and you shouldn’t have any trouble with it.

 

When you earn the fifth star, it is time to attempt a dive. Trace the path on the screen in order to perform this action.

Congratulations! This will increase your energy limit by one. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards and continue.

Now that you’re done with the lessons for this year, you can proceed to Hogsmeade to celebrate with your friends.

Once you get inside the Three Broomsticks, you’ll notice that some of the characters have something to say. You can interact with them by tapping on their speech bubbles.

When you are done with that, you’ll notice all of your friends waiting for you. After talking to them for a while, Rowan will imply that Ben must remember something from the time he was frozen in the cursed ice. He’ll ask if you believe him. You have two response options.

Each option will award you with five attribute points. However, if you choose to trust Ben, Rowan will get slightly upset. On the other hand, if you agree with Rowan, Ben will get sad, so take your pick.

No matter what you pick, Bill will remind you that you are here to celebrate and this exactly will be your next task. Completing it will require earning five stars within three hours. Only one is needed to pass, so it shouldn’t be hard to accomplish.

Simply focus on doing all the high-cost actions, and you’ll be able to complete this task with around fifty energy.

When you are done, Hagrid will appear accompanied by Professor Dumbledore. After talking for a bit, the Headmaster will ask to see you in his office.

There is a waiting period of eight hours before you can proceed. You can either wait for a while or use some gems to speed up the process.

Once you are able to continue, head for the Headmaster’s office in the West Towers.

You’ll talk to Professor Dumbledore for a while and then you’ll get a new task to discuss the events related to the Vault of Fear. In order to complete it, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. However, only one star is required to pass, so this shouldn’t be too difficult to do.

This is fairly similar to your previous visit to the Headmaster’s office. Most of the actions are the same as before, so you should be pretty familiar with this one.

 

When you are done, you’ll talk some more and then Dumbledore will award you with one hundred House Points.

This will also be the end of the chapter. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.
