Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, it’s time for Chapter Ten of Year Five of our Magical Journey Walkthrough for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous chapter, you convinced one of your friends to accompany you on your journey to Knockturn Alley. It took some effort, but in the end, your friend agreed to join you. After that, you went to the Training Grounds where Bill taught you the Stunning Spell, Stupefy. And finally, Madam Rakepick showed you how to use the Floo Powder.
As for this chapter, you can start it in the usual way – by getting the lessons out of the way first. Hit the GO button and proceed to the Castle Grounds.
To unlock the Crup lesson, you need to acquire nine stars from the Care of Magical Creatures classes. As always, pick the combination of classes that suits you best and hit the Start button to begin.
While doing the classes, focus on the high-cost actions to save some energy and complete them a bit faster.
Also, pay attention to the mini-tasks since completing each of those successfully will grant you ten Courage Points.
Once you have all the required stars, you can head back to the Care of Magical Creatures to attend the lesson.
To complete the Crup lesson, you need to obtain five stars within three hours. Because all of the stars are required to pass, you’d want to avoid having an empty energy bar before starting the lesson.
Do this in a similar manner to the classes you took previously and you shouldn’t have much trouble.
Once you’re done, proceed to the Training Grounds for the second lesson of the chapter.
To unlock the Agility Course – Over Under, you need to earn a total of nine stars from the Flying Classes. Like before, pick the class combination that you find the most appropriate for your playstyle and hit the Start button to begin.
While doing these classes, you can stick to the usual pattern – complete actions by tapping on the glowing objects in order to fill up the star meter and earn stars.
And, as always, try your best to complete as many mini-tasks as possible to gain some additional attribute points.
When you earn all nine stars, head back to the Training Ground.
To complete the Agility Course – Over Under, you need to obtain five stars within three hours. Having full energy prior to starting the lesson is highly recommended.
Follow the same steps you did in the classes you took before and you’ll be done quickly and easily.
As soon as you obtain the fifth star, you’ll be tasked with demonstrating Over Under. Trace the path on the screen to perform this maneuver.
You’ll then witness an interesting scene in which your character performs some amazing stunts.
Congratulation! You’ve just managed to increase the limit of your energy bar by one.
Now that the lessons are done, you can continue the story. Proceed to the Headmaster’s office when you are ready.
Upon arriving, you’ll be greeted by Madam Rakepick and the friend you chose to accompany you.
You’ll then ask her if Professor Dumbledore is aware that she’s using his office. Apparently, this is not the case. You can respond in three ways. Some of those options will have interesting dialogue lines, but eventually, all will lead to the same outcome.
Before you can go, there are some final things you need to learn about the Floo Network. This is an hour-long task requiring you to earn at least one out of five stars to pass.
You should be able to finish this task with about thirty energy or so. As long as you started with the full energy bar, this should be doable in one go.
Once you’re done, Madam Rakepick will throw the Floo Powder into the fireplace and ask you to enter it. You’ll be traveling to Diagon Alley, which is close enough to your goal but is a lot safer spot to travel to.
You and your friend will enter the flames, and as soon as you speak your name loudly, the fireplace will burst into flames and you’ll be transported to your destination.
You’ll find yourself at the familiar place, Diagon Alley – right where everything started. Your next task will involve visiting Knockturn Alley with your friend.
However, before you proceed, you might want to check the new free-energy spot. It is located right outside the Gringotts bank. If you tap on the little bag of coins, Niffler will appear and quickly take it away. This will restore one energy point to you.
After that, proceed to meet your friend in Knockturn Alley.
As soon as you enter, you’ll be greeted by the gloomy and dark atmosphere and you’ll instantly know you’ve come to the right place.
Before proceeding with the task, you’ll be able to interact with some of the Alley’s denizens by tapping on the speech bubbles above them.
Your next task involves asking around about Mundungus Fletcher. To complete it, you need to acquire five stars within three hours. However, only one star is needed to pass, which makes this a lot easier.
Be sure to read through the lines you receive after completing the actions as some of them are quite interesting.
Upon completing the task, you’ll sum up what you’ve learned.
The next place to look for Fletcher is Ollivanders. Hit the GO button and proceed there when you’re ready.
When you get there, you’ll find yourself in a familiar environment. Mr. Ollivander will be very glad to see both you and your friend. He’ll even mention the wand you’ve bought from him nearly five years ago.
After you explain the situation to him, he’ll tell you to wait for a while until he is done with some of his work. Browsing Ollivanders is your next task. To complete it, you need to earn at least one out of five stars within three hours.
There should be a plenty of high-cost actions available, which will make this task significantly easier to complete.
Once you are done, you’ll learn that Mundungus Fletcher didn’t have any problem with his wand. In fact, he wanted to know more about the wand of a person who defeated him in a duel. You’ll then have the option of leaving a message for him. Both choices will lead to the same outcome, so feel free to pick the one you prefer.
You’ll then learn that Fletcher went to talk to Madam Villanelle at Flourish and Blotts. This is your next stop. Hit the GO button and proceed there when you’re ready.
After you get there, you’ll introduce yourself to Madam Villanelle and explain the reason for your arrival.
However, that topic will have to wait. In the meantime, you’ll be able to look around with your friend.
Exploring Flourish and Blotts is an eight-hour long task during which you need to obtain at least one out five stars to pass.
You should be able to finish this with around one hundred energy or so. Simply focus on the high-cost actions when they are available, which should speed things up.
When you’re done, you’ll find an interesting book. It appears to be very old, but its pages are blank. Your friend will ask if you perhaps know of a way to reveal hidden messages. You have three response options. If you took the Revealer from Jae earlier this year, you’ll be able to use it here. Otherwise, you can go with any of the other options.
You’ll then be able to read the message written in the book. It appears to be written by Jacob.
Afterward, Madam Villanelle will tell you some interesting information about Mundungus Fletcher.
The next task involves checking Borgin and Burkes. However, there is a waiting period of three hours before you can continue.
Once the waiting time is over, proceed to the Knockturn Alley to meet your friend.
Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of the characters by tapping on the speech bubbles above them.
Shortly after, you’ll be approached by the Dark Witch who will ask try to extort something out of you.
Your friend will be quick to come to your defense, but the Dark Witch will use the Slug-Vomiting Charm to render them incapable of defending you.
You’ll then be forced to duel to avoid getting mugged or worse…
The task window will display the recommended attribute levels as well as the gold cost of each attempt. When you are ready, hit the Start button to begin.
This opponent has 50 stamina points and she has a lot of annoying spells that can stun you for 1 or 2 rounds. However, at this point, your attribute levels will likely be way above the recommended values, which should sway the odds in your favor.
Once you defeat her, you’ll need to cast Finite Incantatem to counter the Slug-Vomiting Charm and help your friend.
Sadly, the things are far from over. Several Dark Witches and Wizards will surround you, preparing to attack. It looks like you’re in a very bad situation.
Fortunately, Madam Rakepick will show just in the nick of time to save both of you.
Intimidated by her impressive display of skill, all of the muggers will back off.
Once again you are saved by Madam Rakepick. It appears that she does care for your well-being after all.
She’ll tell you that she managed to locate and apprehend Mundungus Fletcher who is currently waiting for you at the Three Broomsticks.
With this, the chapter will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.
Now that was intense! Who knows what could’ve happened had Rakepick not interfered. Thankfully, she did, so you don’t need to worry about it. And what of Mundungus Fletcher?
