Chapter 21 – Moving Forward

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Chapter Twenty-One of Year Six of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. You’re still recovering from the loss of one of your dearest friends, and trying your best to heal up the wounds. In order to honor Rowan’s memory, Merula, Ben, and you decided to create a secret organization of your own, with the goal of bringing Rakepick to justice and ending the threat of the cursed vaults.

After informing your other friends about it, they all decided to join your cause, and thus, the Circle of Khanna was formed. Every single one of your friends is determined to do whatever is in their power to contribute to the cause.

However, after a while, you got summoned to the Headmaster’s office. Could it be that Professor Dumbledore knows about your secret organization? There’s only one way to find out… but before that, you have some lessons to take care of.

Walkthrough

Proceed to the Charms classroom when you are ready. To unlock the Blackboard Writing Spell lesson, you need to obtain a total of nine stars from Charms classes. Like always, pick the class duration you prefer and hit Start to begin.

During these classes, the most important thing is to save as much energy as possible. You can do so by focusing on actions with bonus progress whenever they are available.

Also, successfully doing the mini-tasks will award you some additional Empathy points.

Once you acquire enough stars to unlock the lesson, return to the classroom to attend it. To learn the Blackboard Writing Spell, you need to obtain five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this one if you’re out of energy.

For the most part, doing this lesson is fairly similar to any of the regular classes. The major difference lies in some of the mini-tasks.

Upon earning the fifth star, you’ll be tasked with casting the Blackboard Writing Spell. Trace the wand movement to do so.

Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You can claim an additional reward in the Charms section of your Hogwarts Record.

For the second lesson of the chapter, proceed to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom. To unlock the Cave Inimicum lesson, you need to earn nine stars from Defence Against the Dark Arts classes. Choose the class duration suitable to your liking and hit Start to begin.

Like before, prioritize the bonus progress actions to save energy and complete these classes faster.

As for the mini-tasks, each of those will grant you some Courage points upon successful completion.

Return to the classroom when you obtain enough stars to unlock the lesson. Learning to cast Cave Inimicum requires earning five stars within three hours. All of the stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s not recommended to start this lesson if your energy is low.

Before the lesson starts, Bill will say a few words about your late friend.

As for the lesson itself, treat it just like any of the regular classes. Other than the passing requirement, the biggest difference from most of the regular classes lies in some of the mini-tasks.

When you earn all five stars, you’ll be tasked with casting the spell. Trace the wand movement on the screen to perform Cave Inimicum.

Once you are done, hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You’ll get an additional reward for completing the lesson. You can claim it in the Defence Against the Dark Arts section of your Hogwarts Record.

Now that your lessons are finished, you will head to the Headmaster’s office, wondering if he’s aware of the Circle of Khanna. You’re filled with anticipation as you approach his office, eager to discover the reason behind his summons.

Luckily, it appears that he isn’t aware of your secret organization… yet.

By the looks of it, Professor Dumbledore wants to know if you are okay after what happened to Rowan. You’ll suddenly feel a huge relief, knowing that your secret organization is still secret. You will answer his question by pointing out that the person responsible for Rowan’s death should be brought to justice.

Still, the Headmaster will be very concerned about your wellbeing. You have two options to respond with. This choice won’t have any significant influence on the story, so feel free to pick either option.

Professor Dumbledore will tell you that he also lost someone very dear to him and he’ll offer to share some of his wisdom with you. Talking to the Headmaster requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

While there are bonus actions tied to both Professor Dumbledore and your character, it is recommended to focus on your character’s actions since there are only three actions in total linked to you and one of those costs 5 energy.

When you are done, Professor Dumbledore will advise you on how to deal with the loss of Rowan.

Apparently, he’s speaking from experience, and heeding his words might be a good idea. He will advise you to take the time to embrace and accept the feelings, but it will not make you miss Mr. Khanna less but it will help you ease some of the hurt. You will thank him for advising you before you leave.

You’ll then receive the owl from Mad-Eye Moody, asking you to meet at the Three Broomsticks in approximately three hours. Since you’re likely out of energy at this point, it is recommended to wait until the timer expires, and let your energy regenerate in the process.

Head to the Three Broomsticks once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are interested to see what they have to say to you. Upon greeting Mad-Eye Moody, you’ll ask if he wants to know about what happened the night Rowan died.

By the looks of it, he already knows everything about that. You’ll tell him you were helpless to prevent Rakepick from killing Rowan.

He will ask if you’re blaming him for not doing enough to prepare you. You have two options to respond with. These won’t have any meaningful influence on the story, so feel free to pick the one you prefer.

Mad-Eye Moody will ask about your plans, and you will reveal your secret organization, the Circle of Khanna. You will add that you are working to find the final vault and bring Rakepick to justice.

He will be curious to know more about your organization. Talking to Mad-Eye about the Circle of Khanna requires earning five stars within three hours. Only one star is needed to pass.

There are two reward actions linked to your character. Because of this, prioritize those actions if you are looking to save energy and complete the task faster.

When you are done, Mad-Eye Moody will remind you to focus on finding the final Cursed Vault before ‘R’ does. He’ll also tell you that you will feel a lot better once Rakepick gets what she deserves. Shortly after, the two of you will part ways. Before he leaves, Mad-Eye Moody will once again remind you about the importance of finding the final vault.

Diego will then inform you that Cedric got injured while training. He’ll ask you to visit him in the Hospital Wing, so go there when you are ready.

When you get there, you will be able to interact with some of the students before proceeding to check on Cedric. You will see Cedric lying in one of the beds and instantly ask if he’s all right.

He’ll tell you it’s nothing serious.

However, according to Chiara, Cedric broke his arm, so it was a serious injury. Luckily for him, Chiara was able to heal his arm.

It turns out that the one who hurt Cedric is actually Ben Copper. He used a spell on Cedric that caught him by surprise. Chiara will notice that something’s on your mind, and she’ll ask if you’re okay. You’ll tell her about the advice you received recently.

Cedric will be surprised to hear that you know Mad-Eye Moody.

You’ll tell them some more details about the conflict you’re having. You will say that Dumbledore advised you to focus on grieving Rowan and healing, and Mad-Eye advised you to take action, turning pain into motivation and getting revenge. This is the first time Chiara will hear about the Circle of Khanna.

You’ll recall she wasn’t at the Hog’s Head Inn when you founded the organization. She couldn’t make it to the meeting, so you’ll give her a quick summary.

Cedric will ask Chiara to join the Circle of Khanna. Frankly, that might be a good idea. After all, you could use a talented healer in your organization. Sadly, she has an emergency to take care of right now, so she’ll ask if you can speak about the Circle of Khanna a bit later.

You will immediately offer to help her with the patients. In return, you’ll ask her to talk to you about the Circle of Khanna once you’re done treating everyone. To help Chiara, you need to obtain five stars within one hour. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus actions linked to Chiara and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

When you’re done, Chiara will thank you for being kind enough to help her. You’ll ask if she’s ready to talk about the Circle of Khanna. For some reason, she’ll be very hesitant to join your secret organization.

You will be curious to know why. After all, she was very determined to help you protect Hogwarts when you got injured by the Azkaban escapee.

She will ask if she can have a word with you in private.

You’ll agree to her proposition and decide to meet in the Great Hall in about four hours. Since there is no time limit on the chapter, it is simply recommended to wait until the timer runs out.

Once you’re able to continue, head to the Great Hall to meet with Chiara. When you get there, you will be able to interact with some of your friends before proceeding. Chiara will apologize for making you worry about her.

You’ll calm her down, saying you’re ready to hear her out. Apparently, she isn’t afraid of joining your organization. And she is very much determined to do everything in her power to protect Hogwarts.

You’ll be curious to know why she is hesitant to join the Circle of Khanna. After all, her healing skills could prove invaluable in your battle against ‘R’.

She will start explaining things.

The following dialogue will differ, based on whether Chiara is your friend or not.

If Chiara is not your friend, she will tell you she’s a werewolf. However, if you befriended her, and know her secret already, she will tell you what she is afraid of.

She will be scared about others finding out she’s a werewolf.

You’ll try to reassure her that no one will expose her secret.

She will ask if you can guarantee that no one from the Circle of Khanna will report her. If Chiara is your friend, and you want to reassure her, it is recommended to go with the first option.

Still, she’ll be very afraid of accidentally hurting someone.

If you completed Lone Wolf adventure, some of it will be referenced here.

Unfortunately, you will have to do a bit more convincing in order to persuade Chiara to join the Circle of Khanna. The task window will display the recommended attribute levels as well as the cost of it. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.

This will act very similarly to the Meal With a Friend activity. Simply pick the most reassuring options, and you shouldn’t have any trouble convincing Chiara to join your secret organization. Below are the questions and answers to them.

• Why does the team need me? – You’re an experienced Healer. (Empathy)
• What if my secret gets out? – If we’re careful, that won’t happen. (Courage)
• What if they see me transform? – I’ll help them understand. (Empathy)
• What if I hurt someone? – I won’t let that happen. (Courage)
• I may not work well on a team… – You’ll be great. (Empathy)
• Aren’t I a risk to the team? – The benefit outweighs the risk. (Knowledge)
• I’m just not sure about this… – We could really use your help. (Courage)

When you are done, you will receive some friendship experience with Chiara.

In the end, Chiara will agree to join the Circle of Khanna.

Moments later, Professor McGonagall will arrive, saying that the Headmaster wants to see you in his office.

This will definitely surprise and scare you if Professor Dumbledore finds out about the Khanna Circle. Thankfully, that is not the case. As it seems, a new exchange student from Castelobruxo has arrived at Hogwarts.

This will conclude Chapter 21 of Year 6. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 250 Coins and 2000 Experience Points.
