Chapter 22

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Chapter Twenty-Two of Year Six of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous chapter, you had a conversation with Professor Dumbledore, and he wanted to see if you are all right after the loss of your dear friend. Luckily, it seems that he is unaware of the existence of the Circle of Khanna. Later on, you met Mad-Eye Moody, and you told him about your secret organization. Afterward, you found out that Cedric got injured while he was training. Luckily, it wasn’t too serious, and thanks to Chiara’s healing skills, he will recover in no time. You talked to Chiara about the Circle of Khanna, and even though she was reluctant at first, you managed to convince her to join your organization. Not too long after that, Professor McGonagall informed you that the Headmaster wants to see you in his office. Apparently, a new exchange student has arrived from Brazil’s Wizarding School, Castelobruxo, and Professor Dumbledore wants to introduce you. However, as with most new chapters, there are some lessons you should attend first. Proceed to the Training Grounds when you are ready.

To unlock the Broom Casting lesson, you need to acquire a total of nine stars from the Flying classes. Select the class duration suitable to your liking and hit Start when you are ready to begin.

While doing these, focus on 5-cost actions in order to save as much energy as possible.

Also, try your best to succeed at all of the mini-tasks since these will award you some nice additional Courage points.

Once you earn enough stars to unlock the lesson, return to the Training Grounds to attend it.

Learning the Broom Casting requires obtaining five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There is not much of a difference between this lesson and the regular classes. Mainly, some of the mini-tasks are unique to this one.

Once you’re done, your energy limit will increase by one point.

For the second lesson, proceed to the History of Magic classroom.

In order to unlock Dissolving of the Wizards’ Council lesson, you need to obtain nine stars from History of Magic classes. Like before, pick the class duration you prefer, and hit Start when you are ready to begin.

Focus on 5-cost actions whenever they are available if you are looking to save some energy.

Also, each of the mini-tasks you complete will grant you some extra Knowledge points.

Once you unlock the lesson, return to the classroom to attend it.

Learning about the Dissolving of the Wizards’ Council requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

This lesson is very similar to most of the regular classes. However, pay attention to some of the mini-tasks since those are quite new.

Once you are done with the lessons, go to the Headmaster’s Office to meet the exchange student.

When you arrive, Professor Dumbledore will introduce you to Alanza Alves, the exchange student from Castelobruxo.

Apparently, she is the same age as you, and she’ll be your new classmate.

From the get-go, you will notice that Alanza is a cheerful person.

You’ll ask her why she decided to come to Hogwarts.

She will answer your question with a question. You can feel free to pick either option here since these won’t have any influence on the main story.

Professor Dumbledore will suggest you talk to Alanza and get to know each other while he finishes some paperwork.

This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There is a 5-cost action linked to your character. Prioritize it whenever it is available in order to save a bit of energy.

When you are done, the Headmaster will say that he picked you to be Alanza’s guide to Hogwarts.

He will explain what he wants you to do as her guide.

Alanza will comment on that. As it seems, she could really use a guide.

The Headmaster will ask if you are up for the task. There are two options to respond with. Neither of these will have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to take your pick.

Both of these options will result in you becoming Alanza’s guide. Needless to say, she will be very happy to hear that.

You will suggest starting the tour by visiting the Training Grounds. After all, you planned to meet with Talbott and Badeea there anyway.

Head to the Training Grounds when you are ready.

Both of your friends were a bit worried about you.

You will quickly explain what happened.

Talbott will notice Alanza, and he’ll ask you about her.

You will introduce her to your friends.

She will quickly start telling them about herself.

Talbott will notice that she is quite talkative.

Alanza will turn to you and ask if she’s being too much. There are two options to reply to her with. If you like her, it is somewhat recommended to pick the second option. Otherwise, you can select either one.

Badeea will also say a few words.

Alanza will notice Badeea’s map.

Talbott will be a bit confused by this.

You’ll kindly ask Alanza to give you and your friends a bit of privacy.

Being nice as she is, she won’t mind it.

Moments later, Talbott and Badeea will ask you to explain what’s going on.

After all, you were supposed to help them with the map.

You will tell them that Dumbledore asked you to be Alanza’s guide. Because of that, you were unable to help them.

You’ll also ask them to keep Circle of Khanna a secret from her.

Since Badeea’s map is pretty detailed, you might be able to use it as a part of your tour.

Soon after, Alanza will return, and you will decide to show her the map.

This requires earning five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Alanza and the map. Focus on these if you’re looking to save some energy.

Alanza will be grateful for teaching her.

This is when Badeea will accidentally mention your secret organization.

Alanza will be slightly confused, and she will think that the Circle of Khanna is some sort of club.

Talbott will quickly come to the rescue.

You will change the subject, saying that the Potions class is about to start.

Proceed to the Potions classroom when you are ready.

When you arrive, you will find Professor Snape, Madam Pince, and Mr. Filch in the classroom. By the looks of it someone raided Snape’s supplies of potion ingredients.

Also, some of the books are missing from the Library.

The caretaker will comment on that.

You will approach them and introduce Alanza to them.

She will smile and introduce herself.

Snape will take a look at her.

She will admit that she’s not too talented when it comes to potions.

Needless to say, Snape’s reaction will be priceless.

Both Madam Pince and Mr. Filch will comment on that.

Alanza will make an extremely honest reply to them.

As for Mr. Filch, he doesn’t seem to like her very much.

On the other hand, Mrs. Norris will happily purr around Alanza.

Professor Snape will cut the conversation short and announce that the class is about to start.

Alanza will ask if you think she did something wrong. There are three options to reply with. If you like her, it is recommended to pick the first option.

The two of you will then sit at the table. Alanza will unknowingly sit at Rowan’s seat. Needless to say, this will draw reactions from your other classmates.

Even the most powerful witch at Hogwarts will glare at her.

Poor Alanza will be hopelessly confused.

She’ll ask if the seat is taken.

You will reply with a sad look on your face.

Merula will approach, saying she wants to have a word with you.

However, Professor Snape will ask her to sit down since the class has already started.

He will then make an announcement and introduce Alanza to the rest of the class.

She’ll greet everyone with a cheeky smile.

Moments later, the lesson will start. To complete it, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions tied to Alanza and your character. Focus on them if you want to save a bit of energy.

Once the class is done, Merula will drag you away.

Apparently, she isn’t satisfied with your dedication to the Circle of Khanna.

She’ll comment on some recent rumors about you.

You will calmly reply it was Professor Dumbledore who asked you to be Alanza’s guide.

Sadly, Merula won’t be satisfied with that answer.

You’ll simply tell her you’re trying to make some new friends.

And you will reassure her that the Circle of Khanna is still your top priority.

Just as you say that, Alanza will approach and ask you about the Circle of Khanna.

Merula will be stunned to hear this.

Once again, you will try to calm her down and promise to explain everything later.

As it seems, you should be visiting Hagrid soon.

To be exact, this “soon” is in approximately three hours. Since you are likely out of energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy replenish in the meantime.

Once the waiting time is over, proceed to Hagrid’s Garden.

By the looks of it, Hagrid has got all kinds of different magical creatures gathered at his garden. Also, it seems that Alanza likes magical creatures.

You will quickly introduce her to Hagrid.

He’ll warmly welcome her to Hogwarts.

Unfortunately, his surprise did not turn out exactly the way he planned.

It looks like it’s time for you to use your Magizoology skills.

Calming the creatures requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Hagrid, your character, and the Kneezle. Prioritize these if you’re looking to save some energy.

When you’re done, Hagrid will thank both of you for helping him.

By the looks of it, Alanza is very gifted when it comes to magical creatures.

Hagrid will ask her if she likes Hogwarts.

She will give him an honest answer.

Unfortunately, she will mention the Circle of Khanna.

This will spark Hagrid’s curiosity.

Once again, Alanza will be painfully honest.

Hagrid will ask her to give the two of you a few moments to talk in private.

After talking about Rowan’s death for a while, he will ask you about the Circle of Khanna. There are two options to respond with. This choice is IMPORTANT. If you are Hagrid’s friend, you can choose to tell him about it. Otherwise, you can keep the group a secret. Ultimately, the choice is up to you, but bear in mind that this choice will more than likely be referenced in the future chapters.

If you decide to tell Hagrid about the Circle of Khanna, he will promise to try his best to keep it a secret from everyone. Otherwise, he will become suspicious.

He’ll then ask you about Ben and Merula.

You will tell him that Ben is constantly training to prepare for what’s to come. As for Merula, she is angry… well, angrier than her usual self.

You’ll then remember you promised Merula to meet with her and explain what’s going on.

Sadly, there’s a waiting period of two hours before you’re able to proceed. Your energy is probably low following the previous task, which is why it’s recommended to wait until this timer runs out.

Head to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom once the waiting time is over.

When you arrive, Merula will greet you in her usual way.

You’ll quickly stand up for Alanza.

As for her, she seems keen on making new friends.

Unlike Merula, Penny will instantly smile and greet Alanza warmly.

She will also introduce her to Beatrice and Ismelda.

Those two will just look at Alanza without saying a word.

She’ll ask if everyone here is a member of the Circle of Khanna.

Needless to say, Ismelda will be surprised.

You will tell her you arrived to explain everything.

Sadly, your explanation will have to wait.

Apparently, they are brewing a potion.

Alanza will recall Snape mentioning these potion ingredients.

You will quickly connect the dots together.

Merula will ask you a direct question about it. If you like her, it is somewhat recommended to pick the first option.

Alanza will then figure out that they are brewing Felix Felicis, aka Liquid Luck.

Penny will be very surprised by this.

Alanza will laugh and provide an explanation about it.

You’ll wonder why they’re brewing Liquid Luck.

According to Merula, you’ll need all the help you can get to beat Rakepick.

Alanza will be curious to know who Rakepick is.

You will try to talk your way out of it.

Alanza will gaze at you with a serious look and ask you to explain everything.

You’ll decide to tell her everything.

This requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There is a 5-cost action linked to Merula.

Alanza will be shocked to find out what happened to Rowan.

You will tell her the reasons why you decided to create the Circle of Khanna.

You’ll ask her to promise not to tell anyone about your secret organization.

She will even swear to keep your secret safe.

Moments later, Ben will arrive and tell you he needs to talk to you and Merula.

Apparently, it is something very important.

This will conclude Chapter 22 of Year 6. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.
