Chapter 26
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Chapter Twenty-Six of Year Six of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous chapter, you finally had your first Astronomy class, taught by Professor Sinistra. You studied the Cetus constellation, as instructed by Torvus, and you learned that the other name for it is “The Monster of the Deeps”. Afterward, Chiara admitted that she was the one who saved you from the werewolf back in the forest. Once she learned about your plan to go back into the forest, she asked you to be careful. Later on, you visited the centaur camp where Firenze told you more about Trelawney’s prophecy. Unfortunately, this only raised more questions. Lastly, you had a conversation with Professor Dumbledore, and he told you that Miss Haywood could probably use a friend. He also mentioned that she is currently at the Grand Staircase, but he did not say which “Miss Haywood” he was referring to. Before heading there to find out, you should get the lessons out of the way. Proceed to the Charms classroom when you are ready.

To unlock the Cleaning Charm lesson, you need to acquire a total of nine stars from Charms classes. Select the class duration that suits you, and hit Start to begin.

Focus on 5-cost actions in order to save a bit of energy.

Try to successfully complete all of the mini-tasks to earn some extra Empathy points.

Return to the classroom once you obtain enough stars to unlock the lesson.

Learning the Cleaning Charm requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, avoid starting this lesson if you are out of energy.

Pay attention to some of the mini-tasks since these are unique to this lesson.

Upon earning the fifth star, you’ll be tasked with performing this spell. Trace the wand movement to do so.

Proceed to the Potions classroom for the second lesson of the chapter.

Unlocking the Regerminating Potion lesson requires earning nine stars from Potions classes. As always, pick the class duration you prefer and hit Start to begin.

Prioritize 5-cost actions whenever you see them available. This will save you a bit of energy.

As for the mini-tasks, each of these will grant you some extra Knowledge points upon successful completion.

Head back to the classroom once you unlock the lesson.

Learning how to brew Regerminating Potion requires earning five stars within three hours. Given that all of the stars are needed to pass, it is recommended not to start this lesson if your energy bar is low.

For the most part, this lesson is similar to regular classes. Still, some of the mini-tasks differentiate it from the rest.

Remember to wave your wand over the cauldron once you earn the fifth star.

Now that the lessons are out of the way, proceed to the Grand Staircase to talk to “Miss Haywood”.

You will find Beatrice standing near the portrait she was trapped in during the previous year.

She will be surprised by your arrival.

Immediately, her expression will change.

After a bit of small talk, you will ask if she’s okay.

She’ll be a bit confused by your question.

You will then tell her the reasons for your worries.

Unfortunately, she doesn’t think you should be worried at all.

You’ll try telling her you care much about her, but sadly, she doesn’t consider you a friend.

Moments later, Ismelda will show up, asking Beatrice to go with her.

Beatrice will say a few more words before she leaves.

Unlike her, you won’t be able to hide your emotions so easily.

Once she leaves, Sir Cadogan will start talking to you.

You’ll ask him if she frequently visits the place.

According to Sir Cadogan, this is definitely not the first time Beatrice was hanging around the portrait she was trapped in.

You will ask if he might be able to answer some of your questions regarding the whole situation.

Thankfully, he’ll be kind enough to sate your curiosity.

Asking Sir Cadogan about Beatrice will require earning five stars within an hour. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions linked to Sir Cadogan and your character. Prioritize these in order to save some energy. Also, the next task doesn’t require spending any energy, which is why it’s recommended to complete this one as soon as possible.

When you are done, Sir Cadogan will ask if you figured out what’s troubling Beatrice. There are three options to pick from. The correct answer is “She hasn’t recovered from being cursed”, so it is recommended to go with that one.

Also, Sir Cadogan will notice that something is troubling you as well, and he’ll ask you about it.

You will admit that you’re worried about Jacob.

Unfortunately, Sir Cadogan isn’t quite fond of your brother.

He will also mention Jacob’s “troublesome lieutenant”.

You’ll instantly realize he is referring to Duncan Ashe.

Perhaps talking to Duncan might be a good idea. Maybe Charlie would be interested in joining you…

Since the next task doesn’t require spending any energy, it is recommended to proceed to the Three Broomsticks as soon as possible.

Upon arriving, you will be able to chat with some of the characters and check out what they have to say.

Charlie will be curious to know why you wanted to meet with him.

You will get straight to the point.

If you completed Become a Prefect adventure, you’ll get some additional lines of dialogue.

In any case, you will tell Charlie you need his help.

Unfortunately, he won’t be easily convinced, so you’ll have to persuade him.

The task window will display the recommended attribute levels as well as the cost of each attempt. Hit Start when you are ready to begin.

This is similar to drinking butterbeer with a friend. Simply pick up the options that will reassure Charlie. The images below have some of the questions and answers to them.

When you are done, Charlie will agree to visit Duncan with you.

Sadly, there is a waiting period of two hours before you can proceed. Since you are likely low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy replenish in the meanwhile.

Head to the Prefects’ Bathroom once the waiting time is over.

It’s been nearly a year since you last visited the place looking for Duncan.

Still, last time you were visiting, Bill was accompanying you.

Sadly, Charlie still cannot get used to the fact that Bill isn’t at Hogwarts anymore.

Unfortunately, you know the feeling all too well.

Suddenly, Duncan will appear near you.

He will ask you an interesting question. There are two options to respond with. None of these will influence the story in any meaningful way, so feel free to pick either one.

Duncan will then assume you need something from him. There are three response options you can choose from. If you like Duncan, it is somewhat recommended to pick the first one. Otherwise, you can feel free to take your pick.

He will then ask you to tell him more about your adventures.

This requires earning five stars within three hours. Only one star is needed to pass.

The only 5-cost action here is tied to your character. Prioritize it in order to save a bit of energy.

Duncan will be helpful for sharing the stories about your adventures with him. He will then ask if there’s something he can do for you in return.

You will ask him if he knows of a way to contact Jacob.

Luckily, Duncan might be able to help you with that.

You will thank him for sharing this information with you.

Before leaving, you’ll also promise to visit him more often.

Sadly, you won’t be able to check out the boathouse for another two hours. Since you are likely low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the boathouse once the waiting time is over.

You will take a good look at the place upon arriving.

You’ll recall Trelawney’s prophecy once again.

Charlie will assume that Firenze didn’t provide the answers you needed.

Unfortunately, visiting him only raised more questions.

In any case, you might find some clues by searching the boathouse.

This requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

The only 5-cost action here is linked to Charlie. Focus on his actions if you want to save some energy.

When you are done with the search, you will stumble upon another black quill.

You know what to do. Trace the wand movement to cast Reparifarge.

The spell will work and the black quill will turn into a message.

You will quickly read what it says.

Finally, some luck was on your side.

Unfortunately, Charlie won’t be accompanying you.

Since this is a personal matter between you and Jacob, he won’t interfere with it.

Before leaving, you will thank him for helping you.

Sadly, you will have to wait for three hours before contacting Jacob. Since you are likely low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait until the timer expires and let your energy replenish in the process.

Head to the lakeshore once you are able to continue.

When you arrive, cast Vermillious to contact Jacob.

Your spell will work and the red sparks will be shot into the sky.

Shortly after, Jacob will appear.

He will apologize for not being the best brother.

And apparently, he feels like Rowan’s death was his fault.

You will tell him it’s absolutely not true.

He’ll then point out some things that happened a long time ago.

Once again, you will point out that he cannot be held accountable for everything bad Rakepick has ever done.

Jacob will then decide to tell you why he started working with Rakepick.

Listening to him requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are 5-cost actions tied to both Jacob and you. This should save you some energy.

He’ll sum things up when he’s done explaining.

Apparently, the only thing Rakepick ever wanted was to use him.

He will then ask if you understand him. There are two options to reply with. For this one, it is recommended to tell Jacob it was all Rakepick’s fault.

Moments later, he will notice something in the lake.

You will turn around and notice Beatrice floating in the lake.

This will conclude Chapter 26 of Year 6. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.

How did Beatrice end up in the lake? Will she be all right? Find out in the next chapter of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
Thank you for reading.
