Walkthrough
Now, it is time for another Circle of Khanna meeting, but before that, you should take care of the lessons. Proceed to the History of Magic classroom when you are ready. To unlock the Ancient Runes lesson, you need to acquire a total of nine stars from History of Magic classes. As always, pick the class duration that suits you and hit Start to begin.
Focus on the bonus-progress actions if you are looking to save a bit of energy.
As for the mini-tasks, completing them successfully will grant you some extra Knowledge points.
Head back to the classroom once you obtain enough stars to unlock the lesson. Learning about Ancient Runes requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this lesson if you are out of energy.
During this lesson, you will encounter some brand-new mini-tasks, so try your best to complete them successfully.
When you are done, hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You can claim an additional reward in the History of Magic section of your Hogwarts Record.
When you are ready, proceed to the Divination classroom for the second lesson of the chapter. Unlocking the Myomancy lesson requires earning nine stars from Divination classes. Select the class duration you prefer and hit Start when you are ready to begin.
Like before, prioritize actions with bonus progress in order to save some energy.
Also, focus on completing the mini-tasks to earn some extra Empathy points.
Head back to the classroom after you acquire enough stars to unlock the lesson. To complete the Myomancy lesson, you’ll need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass.
Pay attention to some of the mini-tasks since those are unique to this lesson.
Once you are done, hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You can claim an additional reward in the Divination section of your Hogwarts Record.
Now that you are done with the lessons, proceed to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom to attend another Circle of Khanna meeting. Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of your friends and check out what they have to say. Penny will ask if Snape was able to help Beatrice with her nightmares.
Luckily, all went well, and Beatrice was able to move on.
You will say that Beatrice herself has made a lot of progress and she will mention that you are largely responsible for that.
Shortly after, you’ll mention that there’s a lot to do before you’re ready to search for the final vault, and you’ll add that you’re not prepared enough for what dangers may lie beneath the Black Lake. You’ll then gather everyone around and start talking.
Discussing the dangers you may encounter requires earning five stars within one hour. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus actions linked to your character and Talbott. Prioritize those actions to save energy.
When you’re done, Charlie will mention some of the dangers lurking beneath the lake. He’ll say that you know the Grindylows are dangerous, but that you can’t say for sure if the Giant Squids are a threat, let alone the merpeople. Diego will also share his concerns.
In any case, you will decide to ask the creature expert Professor Kettleburn about it.
Proceed to the Care of Magical Creatures when you are ready. Once you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles over some of your friends. Professor Kettleburn will be very glad to see you.
Afterward, you will ask if he can tell you about the Black Lake creatures and you will then ask him a specific question. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.
Next, you will ask him about the Grindylows. Unfortunately, before he gets to answer your question, all of you will be distracted by the arrival of Hagrid and Alanza, accompanied by several bowtruckles. She won’t be able to say why the creatures are so attracted to her.
Hagrid will suggest using some wood lice to help her deal with the bowtruckles. Professor Kettleburn will gladly agree to get some wood lice while Hagrid answers your question about Grindylows.
Shortly after, you will talk to Hagrid about those creatures. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Only one star is needed to pass.
There are bonus actions linked to your character and Professor Kettleburn. Prioritize these if you want to save some energy.
Sadly, Hagrid won’t answer your question about the Grindylows.
If you told him about the Circle of Khanna earlier, he will ask if this has anything to do with it. Otherwise, he will just mention it.
Shortly after, Professor Kettleburn will return and he’ll give you a useful piece of advice. He will advise you that if you want to know about the creatures of the Black Lake you should consider reading about them.
There will be a waiting period of four hours before you can continue. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy replenish in the meantime.
Head to Flourish and Blotts once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters. You will thank Talbott and Chiara for being kind enough to help you.
Shortly after, you will ask Madam Villanelle about books on magical creatures. Luckily enough, she does have a lot of books that might interest you.
Moments later, you will find yourself looking at a huge pile of books.
Researching creatures requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if your energy is low.
There are reward actions tied to Chiara and your character. Focusing on those should save you a bit of energy.
When you are done, you will stumble upon an interesting book. Talbott will point out the section about the Black Lake.
You will also notice the section about the Whomping Willow.
Talbott will ask for your opinion about the evil organizations mentioned in the book. There are three options to respond with. None of these will have any meaningful impact on the story, so feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.
Regardless of your choice, Talbott will suggest investigating the matter further.
You’ll remember that Alanza is well-versed in magical flora and fauna and you will decide to go to her to see if she can help you.
Proceed to the Three Broomsticks when you are ready to meet with her. You’ll get to interact with some of the characters once you arrive. After a bit of small talk, you will ask Alanza if she knows anything about the Whomping Willow.
She will be curious to know why you are asking her about it. There are three response options you can choose from. None of these will impact the story significantly, so feel free to pick whichever option you want.
Unfortunately, Alanza doesn’t know much about Whomping Willow. She’ll ask if this has something to do with your secret organization. Reluctantly, you will answer her question.
Alanza will then suggest talking about something merrier.
You’ll use the opportunity to ask her about her first few weeks at Hogwarts. Catching up with Alanza requires earning five stars within eight hours. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus actions linked to Alanza and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.
Both of you will cheerfully laugh once she’s done talking about her first few weeks at Hogwarts.
Alanza will suggest talking to Professor Sprout about the Whomping Willow. Unfortunately, that might not be the best course of action.
This is when the Weird Sisters will approach you.
If you completed the Weird Sisters adventure, you’ll get some additional lines of dialogue.
Needless to say, this will impress Alanza.
By the looks of it, she is already acquainted with the Weird Sisters.
Shortly after, you will decide to take Alanza’s advice and ask Professor Sprout about the Whomping Willow. The Herbology class should start in about three hours. Since you are likely low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.
Proceed to the Herbology classroom once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Chiara will ask if Alanza was able to help you.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, so you decided to take the alternative approach. Professor Sprout will notice you and your friends talking about something.
You will quickly use the opportunity to ask her about the Whomping Willow. She will be very surprised to hear that and you will ask if there’s any chance to review the Whomping Willow lesson. The Professor will find your sudden interest in this particular plant very odd. You have three options to try and persuade her. Each of these will lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.
Eventually, Professor Sprout will agree to review the lesson.
One of your classmates won’t be too happy about it.
Reviewing the Whomping Willow lesson requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this lesson if you are out of energy.
There are bonus actions tied to Tonks and your character. Prioritizing these should save you a bit of energy.
Once you are done, you will ask the Professor if there’s any way to approach the Whomping Willow safely. Apparently, there is, but she won’t be willing to tell you how and she’ll simply ask you to stay away from it for your own good. Moments later, she will notice Dumbledore’s phoenix, Fawkes, at the window.
By the looks of it, Fawkes was carrying the message from the Headmaster. It seems that he wants to have a word with you in his office. To make matters worse, he wants to talk about the Circle of Khanna.
This will conclude Chapter 28 of Year 6. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 250 Coins and 2000 Experience Points.
How did Professor Dumbledore find out about the Circle of Khanna? Will you be in trouble? Find out in the next chapter of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
