year 6 chapter 29 1240

Ben will say that the Headmaster already knows about the Circle of Khanna. As for Merula, she’ll be afraid that all of you are going to be expelled from Hogwarts. Ben will ask if you would’ve done something differently if you had the chance. There are three options to choose from. This choice won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to take your pick.

year 6 chapter 29 1270

Shortly after, he’ll ask if you’ve found out anything about the creatures in the Black Lake, and you’ll quickly update him. You’ll mention that your research pointed to a book that suggested the Whomping Willow and potentially its use by evil organizations for messaging. You’ll also note that you’ve started asking around about the Willow.

You will add that Alanza doesn’t know anything about it and that you only got confirmation from Professor Sprout that it’s incredibly dangerous to approach Whomping Willow. Moments later, the Headmaster will arrive.

year 6 chapter 29 1320

You will be curious to know how he found out about your organization. Apparently, he knows about pretty much everything that happens at Hogwarts. You will then get to face the consequences of your actions. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

year 6 chapter 29 1350

There are two bonus actions linked to the Headmaster. Prioritize his actions if you are looking to save some energy.

year 6 chapter 29 1360

When you are done, you will realize that Professor Dumbledore isn’t fully aware of what the Circle of Khanna stands for.

year 6 chapter 29 1370

He will add that he hopes that you will continue with your work and resist the temptation to seek revenge. Fawkes will then alert the Headmaster that he is needed elsewhere.

year 6 chapter 29 1400

Once he leaves, Ben will assume that Dumbledore already knows everything about the Circle of Khanna. Merula, on the other hand, will not really agree with him on that and will tell him that Dumbledore really knows everything to get you expelled from Hogwarts.

He will then ask for your opinion. There are two options to choose from. This choice won’t have a heavy impact on the story, so feel free to pick either option.

year 6 chapter 29 1440

Anyway, Merula will suggest not talking much about the Circle of Khanna anymore. You’ll all agree that Rakepick is responsible for what happened. When the ‘R’ stops, you’ll tell Dumbledore the whole truth, but first, you need to learn more about the Whomping Willow.

Shortly after, Merula will ask you where you go when you want to learn more about dangerous things, and you will suggest that you go to the Restricted Section of the Library, but you need to get past Pince first. However, you will need to wait for two hours until you can go there. Since you are likely low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy replenish in the meantime.

year 6 chapter 29 1520

Head to the Library once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you will get to interact with some of the characters and check out what they have to say. In order to get into the Restricted Section of the library, you’ll have to think of a way to distract Madam Pince.

year 6 chapter 29 1550

Both Merula and Ben will make interesting remarks on the Librarian.

year 6 chapter 29 1560
year 6 chapter 29 1570

Ben will then ask who you consider the meanest witch. There are three options to choose from. This choice won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to take your pick.

year 6 chapter 29 1580

Perhaps you can take a different approach this time, you will suggest appealing to her kinder side. Moments after you propose your distraction plan, Merula will agree, and the Librarian will approach you. After a bit of small talk, You’ll quickly start executing your plan.

year 6 chapter 29 1640

You will add that Hogwarts is first and foremost a school, and the library is the heart of a school, which makes it the protector of the heart, and your words will catch her attention.

year 6 chapter 29 1670

You’ll then get to connect with Madam Pince. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Only one star is needed to pass.

year 6 chapter 29 1680

There are bonus actions tied to Madam Pince and Ben. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

year 6 chapter 29 1690

When you are done, you will execute the final stage of your plan. You’ll tell Madam Pince that you saw someone writing in the margins of a book behind her, Merula will agree with you and say that she thinks they went to the back of the library, and Ben will add that he saw someone carrying pumpkin juice near the encyclopedias. Needless to say, she’ll quickly rush to the back of the library.

Now you’re finally free to check the Restricted Section of the library. Go there when you are ready. When you arrive Merula will be curious if the information you read about the Whomping Willow is true.

year 6 chapter 29 1770

Merula will add that it could be some crazy author theory. However, you will say that it is your only lead so far, and it is still better than nothing. You’ll ask her if she wants to ignore your only lead.

Shortly after, you’ll decide to consider your options and debate what to do next. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

year 6 chapter 29 1820

There are reward actions linked to Ben and Merula, so prioritizing their actions should save you some energy.

year 6 chapter 29 1830

When you finish, you’ll discover an old note, which Merula will look at but fail to recognize its meaning. She will say that these are just old student notes and that they have nothing to do with what you are looking for. Apparently, the note was written by Rowan.

year 6 chapter 29 1870

Ben will say that you are right and that the notes belonged to Rowan. After that, Ben’ll ask you a question about your late friend. There are three options to choose from. There are no wrong answers here, so just pick the one you prefer.

year 6 chapter 29 1890

You’ll then remind both of your friends why you formed the Circle of Khanna in the first place and say that it is Rowan for whom you are doing all this and that you cannot lose sight of that. Both of them will agree with you on this and for now, your only lead is the Whomping Willow.

You’ll decide to seek Jacob and see if he can help you somehow. There is a waiting period of three hours before you can proceed. Since your energy is likely low at this point, it is recommended to wait until the timer expires.

year 6 chapter 29 1940

Head to the Lakeshore once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you’ll shoot the red sparks into the sky to signal Jacob. Moments later, your brother will arrive. He won’t be happy to learn that you’re still chasing Rakepick, he’ll add that she’s his responsibility. Still, you will tell him you plan on continuing to do so.

He will ask why you won’t let him deal with the situation alone. There are three options to reply with. If you like Jacob, it is recommended to pick the third option.

year 6 chapter 29 2010

Shortly after, he’ll ask about Beatrice, mentioning it was tough leaving without knowing if she was okay. You’ll reassure him that she’s fine now and mention needing his help and he’ll agree to assist you. Explaining the situation to Jacob requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

year 6 chapter 29 2050

There are bonus actions linked to Jacob and your character, which will make this task a bit easier to complete.

year 6 chapter 29 2060

When you are done you will conclude that Whomping Willow can be a message exchange center for the darkest organizations of the wizarding world. and if that’s true there’s bound to be clues to how to find ‘R’ there.

Still, approaching the Whomping Willow is extremely dangerous. Jacob will say that if you go to the Willow you’ll be whombed and stomped for sure. You’ll suggest using the Shield charm and tell Jacob that you can protect yourself, but that you need his help to practice together.

year 6 chapter 29 2110

You will then get to practice the Shield Charm with Jacob. Trace the wand movement to cast this spell.

year 6 chapter 29 2120
year 6 chapter 29 2130

After practicing for a while, you will notice Merula approaching. As it appears, she has been following you for quite some time.

year 6 chapter 29 2160

It appears she’s interested in learning the Shield Charm, and in the end, you’ll agree to assist her. Unfortunately, the Most Powerful Witch at Hogwarts won’t be able to successfully cast the Shield Charm.

year 6 chapter 29 2200

She’ll just stand there confused for a while before heading back to the castle. Shortly after, Merula will ask you to meet her at the training grounds, so proceed there when you are ready. Upon arriving, you will notice that there are several other Circle of Khanna members there. You’ll be surprised to see so many of your friends at the training grounds.

year 6 chapter 29 2240

Merula will ask if you can figure out why she summoned everyone. There are three options to choose from. None of these will have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick whichever option you prefer.

year 6 chapter 29 2250

Apparently, she wants you to teach everyone the Shield Charm. She also told the group about your training with Jacob and that you learned extra skills from Rakepick, skills that will come in handy when you all go looking for clues and connections to the ‘R’ in Whomping Willow.

You’ll find it surprising that everyone has a strong determination to visit the Whomping Willow. In the end, you will decide to hear them out before making any decisions. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

year 6 chapter 29 2300

There are two reward actions linked to Merula. Prioritize her actions if you want to save some energy.

year 6 chapter 29 2310

You’ll attempt to reason with everyone because going to the Whomping Willow in a big group could be very dangerous. However, Merula thinks it could work if you teach everyone the Shield Charm, which you’ll mention is a tough spell to learn. Ben will agree with Merula because your friends need to know how to protect themselves.

year 6 chapter 29 2360

However, before you can say anything, the Caretaker will arrive. Apparently, the Headmaster asked him to keep an eye on you, and not just that, it seems that he wants to see you in his office once again.

year 6 chapter 29 2400

Professor Dumbledore will be ready to see you in about two hours. Until then, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge.

Proceed to the Headmaster’s office once the waiting time is over. Mr. Filch will happily deliver both Merula and you to the Headmaster.

year 6 chapter 29 2430
year 6 chapter 29 2450

He will ask Professor Dumbledore to let him use his chains on Merula and you. Unfortunately for Mr. Filch, the Headmaster has something else planned for you. Once the Caretaker leaves, Professor Dumbledore will ask you to be honest with him. You will then get to choose whether you want to explain yourself first or hear what he has to say. It is highly recommended to be honest with him and explain yourself first.

year 6 chapter 29 2490

You will start telling him the truth.

year 6 chapter 29 2500

Dumbledore will understand that you’re dealing with your grief. and he will add that what happened to Rowan was traumatic for all of you. As you assumed before, the Headmaster felt that there was something you weren’t telling him. Which is why he asked Mr Flich to keep an eye on you.

year 6 chapter 29 2530

Your previous choice will take effect here.

year 6 chapter 29 2620

Merula will once again assume she’s going to get expelled. Luckily, that’s not what Professor Dumbledore had in mind.

year 6 chapter 29 2640

It looks like both Merula and you will be heading to detention.
