Chapter 3
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Chapter Three of Year Six of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, Penny told you that Beatrice doesn’t want to talk to her anymore, so you offered to help. You found out that Beatrice and Ismelda are now friends, and she made it quite clear that she doesn’t want to talk to her sister. Later on, you discovered that another curse has struck Hogwarts. This time, it is a curse that petrifies students, and the only way to break it is to find the final Cursed Vault. Also, you had your first Divination class and during it, Professor Trelawney gave you an ominous prophecy. Now, you have to discover its meaning, but before that, you can get the lessons out of the way, so proceed to Care of Magical Creatures when you are ready.

To unlock Glumbumble lesson, you need to obtain nine stars from Care of Magical Creatures classes. Pick the class duration you prefer and hit the Start to begin.

As usual, prioritize 5-cost actions to save some energy.

And pay attention to mini-tasks to earn some additional Courage points.

Once you unlock the lesson, head back to Care of Magical Creatures to attend it.

To pass the Glumbumble lesson, you need to earn five stars within three hours, which is why you should avoid starting it if your energy is low.

On average, you’ll need around 60-65 energy to earn all of the stars.

Once you are done, proceed to the Potions classroom for the second lesson of the chapter.

To unlock the Wound-Cleaning Potion lesson, you need to acquire nine stars from Potions classes. As always, pick the class duration suitable to your liking and hit the Start to begin.

Like before, prioritize 5-cost actions to save some energy.

And try to complete all of the mini-tasks successfully for some nice bonus Knowledge points.

Return to the classroom once you obtain all the necessary stars to unlock the lesson.

Learning to brew the Wound-Cleaning Potion requires earning five stars within three hours. All of the stars are needed to pass.

On average, you’ll need about one and a half energy bars to complete this lesson, which shouldn’t be too difficult to accomplish within the time limit.

Once you earn the fifth star, you’ll need to wave your wand over the cauldron to finish the potion.

Now that you’re done with the lessons, you can head to the Library to research Trelawney’s prophecy.

Before proceeding to meet Charlie, you can interact with some of your friends and check out what they have to say to you.

Like Penny used to say, the word travels fast around Hogwarts. As it turns out, most of the students are well-aware of the new curse.

You’ll ask Charlie to cancel your study session since there are a lot of things that are occupying your mind lately.

He’ll ask if you actually believe in Trelawney’s prophecy. You have two options to respond with, but none of these will influence the outcome of the story, so feel free to take your pick.

Charlie will not hesitate to offer his help with deciphering the prophecy.

Percy, however, won’t be too happy to see his older brother helping you with this.

After talking for a while, Charlie will use his wits to make Percy help you with decoding Trelawney’s prophecy.

And he’ll agree to Charlie’s proposition.

After telling them about the prophecy, the three of you will start decoding it. Doing so requires earning five stars within three hours. One star is needed to pass.

There is a 5-cost action tied to your character, so focus on that one whenever it is available to save some energy. Also, it is somewhat recommended to fully complete this task since there is a waiting period afterward.

Sadly, even after studying the prophecy, you won’t be able to decipher its true meaning.

Not long after that, Charlie will introduce you to two of his younger brothers, Fred and George.

If you completed Egg Hunt side-quest, Fred will mention it here.

Also, he’ll be quite impressed by all the mischief you’ve done in the past.

Shortly after that, Percy will give you an interesting idea.

However, there’s a waiting period of three hours before you can consult with Torvus. The easiest way to deal with this is to simply wait for the timer to expire.

Once you are able to proceed, head to the Forest Grove to meet Torvus.

Your centaur friend will be more than happy to see you again.

You’ll tell him about what happened in the Portrait Vault, and you’ll mention that Jacob is missing again.

He’ll notice that you’re sad about it, and he’ll feel for you. You have two options to respond with. Neither of those will have a significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick whichever option you want.

Not long after that, you’ll tell him about Trelawney’s prophecy, and he’ll offer to help you. However, you’ll need to tell him the details, and doing so requires earning five stars within three hours. One star is needed to pass.

On average, you’ll need around 60 energy to acquire all five stars.

When you are done, Torvus will admit that he cannot decode Trelawney’s prophecy.

But, some members of his tribe might be able to help.

Sadly, not many humans are allowed to visit the Centaur Camp.

However, they might consider letting you in if you present them with suitable offerings.

So, you’ll have to find good enough offerings before you go to the camp. Since centaurs are using a lot of herbs in their daily lives, you might want to start with that. Proceed to the Herbology Classroom when you are ready.

You’ll ask Professor Sprout if you can have some of the herbs, and as it turns out, she might be able to help you.

She’ll then introduce Talbott to you. If he is your friend, he’ll be sure to mention it here.

Eventually, Professor Sprout will allow you to take some of the herbs as long as you help her with the harvesting. This requires earning five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.

Under normal circumstances, it would be recommended to earn a single star and then wait for the timer to expire. However, there is a waiting period afterward, which is why you should fully complete this task in order to trigger the waiting time as soon as possible. Earning all five stars will require around 40 energy on average.

Once you are done, you’ll be able to choose one of three different herbs.

This choice will influence some of the dialogue in the following chapter, but each of these herbs will be suitable as an offering, so feel free to take your pick.

Next, you’ll need to ask Hagrid if he has some gift ideas. As mentioned before, there is a waiting period of four hours before you can proceed. Unless you are very eager to see the rest of the story, it is recommended to wait until this timer expires.

Go to Hagrid’s hut once you are able to continue.

Both Hagrid and Fang will be happy to have you as a guest.

You’ll tell him about what happened, and ask if he can help you.

Hagrid will suggest bringing them some of his Rock Cakes. According to him, Centaurs love them.

Moments later, the two of you will get to make some Rock Cakes. To do that, you need to obtain at least one out of five stars within three hours.

There is a 5-cost action tied to your character, so be sure to do it whenever it’s available if you are looking to save some energy.

When you are done, Hagrid will ask if you want to try some of those Rock Cakes. If you have him unlocked as a friend, you’ll be able to do so, which will result in a pretty funny scene.

Hagrid will then give you a nice idea for your third gift.

Thankfully, one of your friends might be able to help you with that. Proceed to the Courtyard when you are ready.

As it appears, Badeea is very happy to help you.

She’ll ask how you feel about returning to this place. There are three options to respond with, but none of these will have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.

Shortly after that, you’ll get to stargaze with Badeea. Doing that requires earning five stars within three hours. One star is needed to pass.

There is another waiting period after doing this task, which is why it is recommended to fully complete it. To do that, you’ll need about 60 energy.

When you are done, Badeea will offer to give you her star chart. This will definitely be a suitable offering for the Centaurs.

Next, you’ll need to meet Torvus and show him the offerings you got. However, there is a waiting period of eight hours before you can proceed. Like before, it is recommended simply to wait until this timer expires.

Once you’re able to continue, head to the Forest Grove to meet Torvus.

Torvus will ask you to show him the offerings you brought.

For this, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. One star is needed to pass.

There is a 5-cost action tied to the herbs you brought, so focus on that one if you are looking to save some energy.

When you are done, Torvus will say that he’s quite impressed with the gifts you chose.

However, he’s not the one to decide whether or not you’ll be allowed to visit the Centaur camp.

Shortly after that, Chapter 3 of Year 6 will conclude. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.

What will happen when you visit the Centaur Camp? Will they be pleased with your offerings? Find out in the next chapter of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery!
