Chapter 33 – Imitation Game
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Chapter Thirty-Three of Year Six of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you gathered all the remaining ingredients for the Polyjuice Potion, and you helped Penny with the initial brewing process. When you are ready, head to the Astronomy Tower for the second lesson of the chapter. Unlocking the Cosmic Ages lesson requires earning a total of nine stars from Astronomy classes. Like before, pick the class duration you prefer and hit Start when you are ready to begin.
Prioritizing actions with bonus progress should save you some energy.
As for the mini-tasks, completing each of them should grant you some additional Knowledge points.
Return to the classroom once you earn enough stars to unlock the lesson. To complete the Cosmic Ages lesson, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
Pay attention to some of Professor Sinistra’s questions during this lesson.
Once you are done, hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You’ll earn an additional reward for completing the lesson. You can claim it in the Astronomy section of your Hogwarts Record.
Now that the lessons are out of the way, you can proceed with the story. Go to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom to meet with Bill and Merula. Merula will be curious to know why you asked her to meet with you.
You will answer her that you and Penny made a potion, but that Polyjuice Potion needs a month to brew, which will give you time to learn to act like Rakepick. After all, the three of you probably know Rakepick better than any other student.
Still, impersonating her won’t be an easy task. Thankfully, both Bill and Merula will be able to help you.
Moments later, you’ll notice two familiar faces eavesdropping on your conversation.
Apparently, Fred and George assumed that you were playing. The Most Powerful Witch at Hogwarts will try to explain that you’re definitely not doing that. Still, this won’t be enough to convince the twins. They will say that it sounded to them like you’re playing pretend.
In the end, you’ll decide to let them stay. Perhaps they might have some helpful ideas. Playing pretend requires earning five stars within eight hours. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are reward actions linked to your character, Bill, and Fred. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.
Fred and George will say a few words before leaving the classroom.
Merula, it seems, is not very fond of the Weasley twins, and she’ll say that they are annoying. Needless to say, Bill won’t appreciate her calling his brothers annoying.
He’ll then ask for your opinion. If you like Bill, it is recommended to pick either the first or the third option. On the other hand, if you like Merula, it is recommended to go with the second choice.
Shortly after, Bill will praise your Rakepick impression. Still, in order to fully impersonate her, you’ll also need to dress the part.
Perhaps Andre might be able to help you. Proceed to the Training Grounds to meet with him. Upon arriving, you’ll get to chat with some of your friends. After greeting you, Alanza will ask if you want to paint with her and Andre.
You will quickly explain that you need style advice and that’s why you came. Andre will be delighted to hear you mention the word “style”.
As for Alanza, she apparently didn’t know of Andre’s passion for fashion.
You will add that Andre should not be modest and that he styled you before. Your Ravenclaw friend will be curious to know what sort of style advice you need, and you will say that Merula, Ben, and you thought of some ways to imitate Rakepick but that you have not mastered her style. This will prompt Alanza to ask you if it has anything to do with the Circle of Khanna.
She’ll then suggest you join them for a painting break session.
You’ll gladly accept her proposition. Painting with your friends requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus actions linked to Alanza and Andre. Focus on those if you are looking to save some energy.
You’ll cheerfully laugh after you’re done painting.
Alanza will ask if you are glad you took the time to paint with them. If you like her, it is recommended to say yes.
As it seems, Alanza is acquainted with Patricia Rakepick.
Alanza will mention that Rakepick spent most of her time in the ruins, so she didn’t know her well, prompting you to ask if she could provide more information about Rakepick.
This information might be quite helpful, and you could inquire with someone else, like Professor Snape, to learn more about Rakepick.
Head to the Potions classroom when you are ready. Professor Snape will notice you arriving early so he’ll assume you want something.
You’ll mention your question, and he’ll remind you that Hogwarts is a place for learning. Then, you’ll inquire if Professor Snape can address your question after the lesson, and fortunately, he’ll agree to do so.
Reviewing Memory Potions requires earning five stars within one hour. Only one star is needed to pass.
There are reward actions linked to Professor Snape and your character. Prioritize those actions to save energy.
Once the class is over, Snape will allow you to ask him a question and you’ll quickly get to the point.
He’ll sum the answer into one single word.
You’ll request him to provide more details, and it appears that Professor Snape isn’t particularly fond of Rakepick.
He’ll assume there is a reason for you to ask questions about Rakepick.
He will also ask you an interesting question. None of the answers will have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to take your pick.
Before you leave, Professor Snape will advise you to be careful. There will be a waiting period of four hours before you’re able to continue. Since you are likely low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.
Once the waiting time is over, head to the Transfiguration classroom to meet with Andre. As it seems, Penny already told Andre about your plan.
He’ll mention the key thing about the Polyjuice Potion, which is that it doesn’t change what you’re wearing. So he will have to make clothes for you. You’ll ask if there’s anything you can assist him with, but thankfully, Andre has everything under control. Then he’ll remind you that there’s much more to style than just clothing and accessories.
Luckily, he’ll be willing to teach you everything you need to know. Learning about Rakepick’s style requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are two reward actions linked to Andre, so prioritize his actions in order to save some energy.
Once you’re done, your friend will ask you to show him what you’ve learned, he will ask you to show your best Rakepick face.
He’ll then ask you to make an impression of Rakepick. For the best results, it is recommended to pick the third option.
Moments later, Ben will barge into the classroom, looking for you.
You’ll ask him what’s going on and he’ll explain that you have to go with him to Forest Grove to show you something. Once again, you’ll have to wait for a while before you can continue. Since your energy is likely low at this point, simply wait and let it recharge in the meantime.
Proceed to Forest Grove once the waiting time is over. You’ll be curious to know why Ben wanted you to come to Forest Grove and he’ll point at nearby Thestral.
He’ll be surprised that you’ve seen these creatures before, and you’ll answer his question.
You will say that perhaps that’s why the Thestral came to this place, and you will add that the Thestral cannot be seen by one who has not seen death. Then you’ll ask Ben if that was the reason why he came back. Apparently, there’s another reason why Ben is drawn to the place where Rowan died.
You’ll ask him to tell you more. Chatting with Ben requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
There are plenty of bonus actions available, which will make this task easier to complete.
As for Ben, he seems to find the Forest Grove quite comforting.
You’ll state an interesting fact about Thestrals, you’ll say that they pull the Hogwarts carriages and that most students can’t see them unless they’ve seen death. You’ll ask Ben if he’s scared of these creatures, but he actually finds them quite comforting. He’ll then ask for your opinion on Thestrals. If you like Ben, it is recommended to pick the second option.
Soon after, you’ll tell him that the Polyjuice potion will be ready soon, and you’ll promise him to avenge Rowan’s death.
That will conclude Chapter 33 of Year 6. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 300 Coins and 2000 Experience Points.
The day of ‘R’’s meeting draws close. Will you be ready for it? Will you be able to plan everything ahead? Find out in the next chapter of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
