Walkthrough
Before doing that, you should take care of the lessons. Proceed to Care of Magical Creatures when you are ready. To unlock the Doxy lesson, you need to acquire a total of nine stars from the Care of Magical Creatures classes. Select the class duration you prefer and hit Start when you are ready to begin.
As always, focus on actions with bonus progress to save some energy.
Also, try your best to successfully complete all of the mini-tasks for some extra Courage points.
Return to Care of Magical Creatures once you earn enough stars to unlock the lesson. Completing the Doxy lesson requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting it if you are out of energy.
Pay extra attention to some of Professor Kettleburn’s questions.
When you are done, hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You can claim an additional reward in the Care of Magical Creatures section of your Hogwarts Record.
Proceed to the Divination classroom for the second lesson of the chapter. To unlock the Dream Interpretation lesson, you need to obtain nine stars from Divination classes. Select the class duration suitable to your liking and hit Start to begin.
Like always, prioritizing bonus progress actions should save you some energy.
Successful completion of mini-tasks will grant you extra Empathy points.
Return to the classroom once you earn enough stars to unlock the lesson. Completing the Dream Interpretation lesson requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
Some mini-tasks are unique to this lesson, so pay extra attention.
Once you are done, hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You’ll earn an additional reward for completing the lesson. You can collect it in the Divination section of your Hogwarts Record.
Now that you’re done with the lessons, you can head to the Owlery to finalize your plan. Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the owls. Tonks will be quite excited about your plan to impersonate Rakepick, but will still say that it’s a risky plan.
Thankfully, you’ve done a lot of research about Rakepick, so hopefully, you will be able to pull it off.
Still, Tonks will be a bit unsure. You have three options to reassure her. All of these options will lead to the same outcome, so feel free to pick whichever one you prefer.
By the looks of it, Tonks is planning to disguise herself as a Dark witch.
You will then discuss the whole plan with both of them. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are two reward actions linked to your character. Prioritize those actions if you want to save some energy.
You will go over the plan one more time once you’re done discussing it. The plan is that before you get to Knockturn Alley, you will drink a potion and become a Rakepick. While Tonks will keep an eye out for activity outside the store, Jae will be right next to you in the Invisibility Cloak and can keep an eye out for anything suspicious.
Tonks will try her best to reassure him everything will be fine.
Still, having an extra person helping you out might be a good idea.
You will wonder if there is anyone else who could help you, Jae will add that that someone should be trustworthy, and Tonks will say that you can’t ask just anybody to join you either and that you should choose someone who can handle pressure well. Moments later, Talbott will arrive to feed the birds.
You will have to wait two hours until Talbott is ready to meet with you. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.
Head to the Three Broomsticks once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Talbott will be curious to know why you wanted to meet with him.
You’ll hesitate to ask him a question, but he’ll simply tell you to be direct about it, so you’ll nod and get straight to the point.
He’ll be interested to know more about your operation, and he’ll ask if you plan to do it yourself, but you will say that Tonks and Jae are helping you. The next few lines of dialogue will differ, depending on whether you know Talbott’s secret or not.
Still, you will have to do some convincing in order to get Talbott to help you. The task window will display all the important information. Hit Start when you’re ready to begin.
This will be quite similar to Drinking Butterbeer with a friend. Simply pick the options that will reassure Talbott and you won’t have any trouble completing this task. Below are some of the questions and answers to them.
- Can you keep my secret? – I won’t tell anybody. (Knowledge)
- Do you expect a fight? – We have to be prepared for one. (Courage)
- What if I don’t help? – We’ll fail without you. (Knowledge)
- Why not ask another Animagus? – We can’t trust anyone else. (Empathy)
- What if we’re discovered? – We’ll work together to escape. (Courage)
- Why should I do this? – Your friends need your help. (Empathy)
- Can you promise me I’ll be safe? – Safety is our top concern. (Knowledge)
Completing this task will earn you some friendship experience with Talbott.
Thankfully, Talbott will agree to help you and he’ll point out one important part of the plan you overlooked.
You’ll say that it’s actually a good question and you haven’t thought about it, perhaps there is someone who could help you with that.
Proceed to the Lakeshore when you are ready. Shortly upon arriving, you will shoot the Red Sparks to draw Jacob’s attention.
Shortly after, he’ll arrive and ask what’s happening. You’ll quickly explain that you’ve been following Rakepick and need to know where she was last seen. Jacob will be curious about the whole thing.
He will praise your efforts and say that it is best to share your plan with him.
Sharing your plan with Jacob requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are two reward actions linked to Jacob, which is why you should prioritize his actions in order to save as much energy as possible.
When you are done explaining, your brother will give you one important piece of information about Rakepick. He will say that luckily for you it is very risky for Rakepick to show his face now in public and that ‘R’ will probably be surprised when you appear as her.
Still, he will want to know what you are planning to do if Rakepick shows up. There are three options to respond with. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.
Not long after that, the two of you will part ways.
Before leaving, Jacob will advise you to train your team.
You will have to wait four hours before your friends are ready to meet with you. Since your energy is most likely low at this point, it is recommended to wait until the timer runs out.
Proceed to the training grounds once the waiting time is over. You will happily greet your friends and tell them why you want to meet.
Talbott will want to know what kind of training you have in mind and you’ll quickly explain that you want to practice some offensive charms with them, to make sure your skills are sharp in case a fight breaks out. Moments later, your friends will start practicing offensive spells.
After a while, Tonks will suggest dueling and Talbott will agree with her. You will get to choose a dueling opponent. Keep in mind you need to have Talbott’s friendship at level 5 or higher in order to pick him as your opponent.
The task window will display the recommended attribute levels as well as the cost of each attempt.
The attribute requirements for this duel are not too high, which is why you shouldn’t have much trouble winning.
When you are done, Jae will admit that he isn’t really eager to fight the Dark wizards. Tonks, on the other hand, would be quite happy to teach them a lesson. You will get to choose if you prefer fighting ‘R’ directly or not. This choice won’t have any big influence on the story, so feel free to pick the option you want.
Moments later, Penny will arrive to inform you that the Polyjuice potion is ready.
This will mark the end of Chapter 34 of Year 6. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 300 Coins and 2000 Experience Points.
Will the Polyjuice potion work as intended? And what will happen during ‘R’’s meeting? Find out in the next chapter of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
